    Ricco with MFS alteration is a lot like assault rifle. Rapid fire for short duration then need to recharge (reload). Effective range is also quite similar. Only diff is you substitute plasma balls for bullets.

    Doesn't encourage healing though, does it? With limited amount of energy you somewhat have to choose one or the other. And since killing gives 2x score vs healing, makes the decision easier. Especially so if you have a "earn crystals/score" mission.
  4. Yeah - you get 900 kills and rewarded with.... 5 containers? :D :lol: Not a fan of DM and every battle will be like that. These types of weekends I just complete some missions and log out.
  5. Sure but... How many of those kills made with JUG and how many not as JUG? Doesn't JUG take some characteristics (health? protection?) from the "user"? In some of those cases user rank >> enemy rank.
  6. Pretty much. Unless you are near a location that is easily defensible, the JUG gets overwhelmed fairly quickly. If you don't quickly get the kills needed for the OD, it is helpless vs freeze, firebird, etc. Rarely saw anyone trying the Striker attack. I killed JUG more often than I killed others as JUG. Doesn't help that I'm terrible with Rail - so - that leaves Striker attack? UGH. Reduce JUG speed to ~ Viking and give it a lot more health.
  7. So what. That is absolutely no reason to buff it. Do you think players equip Thunder module because thunder is weak? No - because it is effective. All the devs have done is give the shaft to anyone who spent lots of crystals on a module. ALL weapons should be judged at effectiveness without any protections. Let people spend crystals on modules to avoid damage from the turrets that bother them the most.
  8. As if Thunder needed a boost - you see a lot of them every battle. Why is that? Because it is weak? "but everyone equips thunder protection"... And why do you think people equip Thunder protection? Because it is weak???? Silly update. How about you tweak magnum down a notch and give Striker a boost. There's a reason you don't see strikers in battles... even though very few people equip that module.

    Yup - they nerfed it by 1/2... score 5 for healing full tank or 10 for killing a tank. Unfortunately with only 5 seconds of energy you can't do both, so... You are better off killing.

  12. So Thunder gets a buff but no change to Striker. :lol: See tons of Thunders - they can't be that bad. But strikers are like unicorn sightings...

    1) People keep posting this and I keep replying by saying my M3 17/20 Viking with freeze module 46% still gets frozen when caught from behind or on the flank. Which is how you are supposed to use freeze. it is not Twins.

    Thunder already is way better than smky at long range. it's not even close. What is your reason for nerfing the smky Critical? Are you actually worried about the 1-in-5 shot that does more than a pittance of damage? Go buy a smoky module then.

    Why don't you just equip protection for "Firebirds, Freezes and Smokies" then? easy to do now with flexible modules. This can only work on larger maps (like original holiday one) - otherwise red would simply keep overwhelming one blue Point and cap every 30 seconds on the "smaller" MM maps.

    Just left a Bridges CP battle - looked like 8 vs 8. Until you look at the score. 4 min into battle and 5 "players" on my team had a score of 0. Not a chance I'm playing 3 vs 8 with no hope of reinforcements. EXIT.
  21. Tanki-X does have a lobby players are placed in while server is looking to fill teams. Players can see map, battle-mode, and even make-up of the team (turret / hull) They can switch their "pre-sets" hull-turret combos - before battle starts.
  22. I like it a lot - very fun to play. Excellent at mid-to-long range. The 50% "weak" damage means it is useful full length of even the larger maps. I use it on Hunter currently. Once into M3 stages I will get a mammoth and try that out. Weakness of course is up close - turret tracking for close-in enemies not great. So hampered somewhat on maps with lots of cover like Industrial Zone.
  23. Well, matchmaker is already here, so that ship has sailed. Might as well adopt one of the few good ideas Tanki-X has. We need a lobby so time is not wasted in-battle switching to map-appropriate equipment, or so your team isn't all rails or all isidas...

    K/D, exp/h ratio means nothing to me. I've said this over and over in many posts, but posters like you and Vik4 ignore that and assume everyone just wants to be on the winning team. But you are mistaken. You like to become a punching bag for a dominating team - go ahead. Many do not. You just made my point for me. Thank you.
  25. Sure I have benefit of having played before. But so do many of the players at my level there - many, many alt accounts. By rank of major the learning curve is dropping. Plus - I went in completely different direction and developed to combos barely used on my main account. Freeze and Vulcan. Bought freeze before the buff so I lucked out there...
