I'm seeing freeze a lot more frequently after the buff. Without a module i quickly become a block of ice. Maybe you are too far away when you make the attempt?

it's not a nerf, since you can buy your way out of the self-damage. it's a TAX.

Well, I've had Tanki-X account for at least a year. So missing out on 10 containers because I was an "early adopter" does not seem right to me.

Where's the fun in that? If you are gonna shoot - do it while the gold is right above them.

One does not have to be a noob to be one-shot-spawn-killed by a Shaft. Many maps have spawning points in direct sight of enemy camp areas.

15 minutes after server reset - 2700 players online. Multiple attempts and can't get into any battles. What gives?

Bonus 10% (100 per second at M4) damage is not worth the loss of the special ability. If played right a freeze pilot can take zero damage from enemy while killing them. Even isida.

No point in buying that kit unless you MU asap. having a smoky m1 10/10 at low rank is way OP. You will recoup spent crystals through greater battle-fund winnings.

It's irrelevant what you might have done once. Teams need to be balanced and placing a low-ranker on one team makes it unbalanced. I join an MM battle and my team has a few players ~ rank of colonel and other team all Legends? Adios. You want to play with your friends? 1) Rank up 2) have them start an alt and rank up to play with you 3) break open the piggy-bank and pay for a Pro-battle pass. No need to mess up MM battles with "battle-groups"- MM has enough issues as it is.

For CTF I play defense in a heavy hull - allows for salvos. Then if my team is beating back enemy I move up. Control of map important. CP... probably medium hull better if you want to cap & kill.

How much skill does it take to sit behind a wall in your base (probably mined thoroughly) and lob shots at enemy flag area. keep tweaking until you see white numbers appearing. Red numbers even better. And fact you "know" where your own captured flag sits does not hurt either. The splash radius is so ridiculously large you never have to "hit" to inflict significant damage.

I imagine they will be closing that loophole when MM gets updated so rank-spread for groups is much tighter. Reason is - it's not fair for other Legends on the team to be stuck with such a low rank if other team does not have low rank as well. Need balanced teams.

Being placed in a battle < 5 min left. Threshold should be 6+ min. Battles that are 8 vs 4 for 2 min or more. Just end the battle.

One of the few maps I will use Striker on. Very little swarming happens and I find Striker not effective at all when swarmed.

Was playing CP battle last night and this "team-mate" would not budge from a perch that happened to be near a DA drop. It refused to move and cap CPs while we were losing badly.

massacre is a decent team map - especially for Vulcan - the 50% "weak damage" is awesome and surprising to enemies at other end. Even striker works well here - equip heavy hull for CTF, or medium for CP. DM though... meh. But then again, I'm not a big fan of overcrowded DM battles where you are lucky to survive 15 seconds...

You can try to cap flags with hornet - just might need to use more DAs to survive. (along with rail, shaft and maybe thunder or freeze protection) Typically Viking is better than Hunter for capping flags due to the extra speed. This account uses Viking and Hornet (plus Titan for maps like Silence)

A lot of people had been saying Vulcan was weak. I decided to try it on my alt account anyway because - well - it's an alt. Rank of major and Vulcan upgraded to M2.5 Gotta say it performs well. And is unstoppable if you have isida on your team. Entered a Pro-no-supply-battle TDM with other team winning 12-0. The vulcan turned that battle around and we won 75-69. FYI - also have freeze m2.5 on same account - but - vulcan is my default turret - even after the (OP) freeze buff.

For smoky I'd say Hunter. I had smoky before the Hunter/Viking switch and I found it easier to use smoky back then. With Ricco, the difference is not quite as pronounced. I think Ricco can do almost as good on Viking as it does on Hunter. I think Ricco is a bit more forgiving in the aiming category than smoky.

Depends on what you are using it for and what turrets you favor. Viking is better for capping flags due to it's speed. Also has lower profile. But Hunter has better stability and for turrets like smoky and even vulcan allows you to get more hits on enemy.
