Played my M3 16/20 Smoky for a while last night. Used Viking and Titan with it. Was very disappointed in it's performance. Seemed like it was just tickling the enemy, even at moderate distance. Switched to Ricco and was waaaaay better.

And protection modules... explains the easy deaths...
-
Guess the 2x funds from premium didn't help much in this case... the scoring is... there are no words... You were short at least 2 tanks for a good portion of the battle?
-
You've got it all wrong - it's not meant to help the losing team. The system keeps the battle going so the winning team can pad their stats/bank-account for 10 minutes. ;)
-
Citation please - else I call you out as a liar.
-
So... you don't think games should be played fair? There's a difference between losing a fair battle and losing a match before you even start it. How is that you don't seem to understand that?
-
I don't need to cherry-pick my battles to have fun. I just need a semblance of fairness. It's not happening on too many battles. And sadly, hitting the exit button is too often how one should "play regular battles". So many will "run" as you put it - and keep doing so, until the system is improved.
-
If player would switch in "lobby" they will certainly switch after joining battle, so what's the difference? You will still encounter the 4 shafts on highways. And if I see 3 other isidas on my team (before entering map) I'd be inclined not to use isida. My Captain alt joined a battle where I was highest rank, Other team was Major up to Colonels. Why should I start a battle with that handicap? If TO fixed the MatchMaking balancing system players wouldn't jump ship nearly as often.

1) you brush it aside at "nit-pick" - 10 minute battles minus load time minus equipment change has nothing to do with "adapting" I could adapt to 5 minute battles as well. Should that be implemented? 2) Not just like before MM. Players could see the teams and enter or not enter battles that have ranks similar to their own 3) MM is supposed to be an improvement - not status quo. 4) Might be improvement for you - but not for many. Challenging games come about from even battles that are not boring. MM fails on this with many uneven battles on the same maps over and over. Before MM was introduced you could easily have same experience by clicking the battle Button. Your complaints about wasting time searching for battles are just "nit-picks", as you certainly did not have to search. Just click Battle.

Text-formatting hurts your eyes? Was not suggesting it be day-glow. Increase the font size and make it bold. Not difficult. So... is this supposed to be about XP or not? If include other than XP then anyone classifying self-destructing as "unfair" or "sabotage" is incorrect. -
"Harder" and "comfort zone" are not the only reason(s) MM is unpopular. - We get placed in half-finished battles - Not knowing map means we often spend time immediately in garage making battles even shorter (makes #1 above even worse) - Groups are still an issue and there should be transparency on if you are battling a group or not. - Rank limits still need adjusting - they are still quite wide, and that is terrible individually for the lowest ranks - Map pool is way too limited. You complain about pro-battles selection. The MM selection is not much better - seems to be same 5 or 6 maps. Not saying MM is a complete bust, but - it needs a lot of work. It is not the players - it is the current set-up. To deny that is like an ostrich that buries it head in the sand.
-
Two minutes is somewhat long. And no need to "roam the map" - players will either be already familiar or explore as they play. 30 seconds to 1 min (max) of a lobby whereby you see map name and team composition so you can set your combo should be enough.
-
Please close this topic - it is ... ridiculous.

The Title needs to be modified to include "XP" - otherwise it is very misleading. And make your June 12 update in OP bold and/or a different color. Your frustration with commentators who don't understand your intent is misplaced. -
The m1 alt gives it the 4th biggest knockback? A loss of critical and end up in... 4th? Yikes... thought it was better than that. I mean that is supposed to be it's bread-and-butter.
-
I'm sure it happens but I don't really think it is as common as they say it is. Would get boring fast.

New rule Tanki snuck in...you should read this....(talk about cheaters!)

Some odd situations where-by a LGC modules had varying protections... Example Cherry. came in an M3 kit with 30/25/20 protections for Twins/Thunder/Vulcan. I upgraded to ~ 34/28/23 before the separation. Then the cost to MU seemed crazy compared to new modules. At same time medic kit received the Shark TD-3 module at 35% for each. Boy was I mad. To top it off when the recent conversion was done, as that Cherry LGC was my only source of Vulcan I ended up with an M1 module at 23%. So I can't even MU that beyond M2 and now have to save up for an M3 at 250k. Jeebers. :o -
They definitely need to re-visit their algorithms. Between the (poor) map selection and the amount of time left in battles, was better sifting through battle list. For the same investment of time for battle-list gave better results.
-
Check your applied protections. See if they are still activated. last night my Alterations turned themselves off. had to activate again.
-
It overheats - I use m2 Vulcan all the time. I self-destruct due to overheating - but sometimes it is worth it to prevent Caps, etc. Many Vulcan-users equip Fire protection to reduce the effect. Similar to Thunder users. Overheat on %? That would be wrong - would negate the use of heavy hulls. They are slower but take longer to damage. As it should be. Else everyone would just be running around in wasp/hornet. Vulcan has weaknesses just like all turrets do. You need to exploit the weaknesses. They are hardly OP.
-
Small maps? None in MM unless you consider Red Alert or Barda small. (I don't). If you are happy with way it performs without alteration - keep going. The turret is fun either way.
-
What?? :o Why? Oh - never mind... $$$

maybe in TDM where it hurts the team. Otherwise... I don't get it... -
Don't let Overdrives influence your choice of hull - especially if you have already invested in one a fair amount. 1) they are still only a small part of your performance individually... you get it maybe 2 or 3 times during 10-min battle? 2) been in the works for a long time - not implemented yet.
