Won't be playing CP until they fix this. It's ridiculous that two (or more) players can't score on same CP. This just means pushing and fighting among team-members. It's not TDM. Are they going to adjust the way players are put into ongoing battles? Half-way through is just not acceptable. The auto-timer needs to be brought back instead of dumping players into hopeless battles. Additionally they should implement a "shut-out" rule, or "skunk" rule. Example... CTF is now 7 flags? If score gets to 5-0 the battle ends immediately. There is no point in dragging out uneven battles. Same for CP... 50 score win? End battle if 35+ and < 5.

You said this "If you really are a "pro" you should be able to find a way to contribute with your main turret and main hull in any mode on any map." What's the reference to "pro" about? I haven't seen many posters claiming they are "pro" - but you brought that into the discussion.

So MM put me into another battle that was half-way finished. On the plus side the other team was only leading 4-0 instead of 5-0 like the last time. :wacko: Devs - FIX YOUR ALGORITHM. NO ONE WANTS TO JOIN A BATTLE HALF-WAY FINISHED WITH NO CHANCE OF WINNING.

Why does everyone have to be a "pro"? Many just want to play for fun. Take the fun out of it and people leave. Having a smaller player-base is not good for the game. Some people found MM to be fair, and for them that is great. Last night I was plunked into a battle half-finished with my team losing 5-0. :o

True. I have Isida & Ricco, but absolutely hate playing on Iran map. maybe it's all the Freeze and Twins I encounter there. Or maybe the lag...

You might want to avoid CP battles for the time being. There might be a bug whereby multiple players on same team capturing same point get no score for that point. Capture it solo, or get nothing.

Charge for leaving a battle? Do you want the player base to shrink even more than it has over past couple years? That's what will happen if you penalize people like that. They will just play Pro-battles or quit the game entirely. They are removing all current modules and replacing them. You will still have protection against turrets. In all likelihood you will be better off than before unless you spent real money on game and accrued a large selection of combinations. I especially like match-making where I was placed into a battle with 5 minutes left - with the score already 5-0 for the other team. Why should I stay and waste my time in that battle??? :blink:

A few? Seriously? Sure my reply to you was part-joke because... your post was in fun... right? But there's waaaaay more than a few posts that describe the short-comings of the matchmaking system. Wow did you ever miss the mark. Your post has absolutely nothing to do with anything anyone has said about matchmaking. Maybe you are not in the thread you thought you were?

Well, since it's more fun to critique MM than it is to actually play it - we're making time. The volume of feedback is in direct proportion to the "suckiness" of the current iteration of MM. Hope this helps.

Oh my... 4 minutes wait to get into a battle. Other team winning 5-0 and spawn-killing me as I arrive. Audios. So... now I know... if it takes longer than the estimated time, will likely put me into an ongoing battle on losing side. No thanks - I'll quickly nix that and start again. --------------------------------------------------------------- Battle after that... 1 vs 4. It is utter garbage. I play same time every night. Never had a hard time finding a battle that was relatively appropriate. MM is the exact opposite.

They better add rank limits to groups. Players who have friends with wide rank-splits can still play together on Pro-battles. No need to ruin match-making battles because some people can't handle entering battles without a friend by their side. Else you will have more and more "drop-outs" as players realize their team is under-gunned.

Well, so do did I if opportunity presents presented itself. hard to complete missions and earn crystals if you are dying all the time.

What is wrong with kunger or Solimansk? Both large maps with lots of sniping positions. You only waiting for Brest or Highways? Good luck! You'll take forever to complete 3 battles. Must have been touch-and-go there for a while I bet... Nothing like a Clan versus random mixed players - most of them well below your teams avg rank. Oh my.

Why did you have to look for winning team? It saves you no real time - you just had a behavoir that caused the extra time. Balance? totally random so far - and - only possibly by team. Have you seen any of the screen shots of the ridiculously wide rank brackets? The players on the lower end might be lucky to be on winning team, but for most part will not score much, and thus not get a reward.

My Captain account playing CP battle on Wolfenstein. - we had sergeant Shaft sitting in our base camping - um... you have no sight-lines and can't even guard 1 CP from there. - I was on deathbed heading for RK up that ramp to one of walls. A (fully healthy) wasp-magnum zips by me and grabs it. HELLO!!

Are you sure it is equipped? Plus it does not "improve" (Typo?) the re-load time - it makes it worse (longer). Try equipping just the MFS alteration and observe the results.

no clan vs noobs ... really? battle groups can easily be Clan members. no waiting to join a winning team... yeah, now it's waiting to join the losing team. MUCH BETTER :lol: play new maps... what? same maps as before - a very limited selection of maps which needs to be expanded. perfect battlefund... only if the battle is reasonably balanced. Unfortunately many unbalanced battles - i mean complete farces = no reward

I normally play evenings after server re-set. Before MM ... 20-30 minutes after re-set it was not that hard to search battle lists to find maps with 5-9 players each side. But last night, almost all the battles i played with both accounts had much less than the "optimal" 8 vs 8. Most battles finished 5 vs 5 - even on the very large maps. And... seems like the mercy-timer is no longer used. A few of my battles ended 2 vs 7 or 3 vs 8 as players jumped ship due to the quite unbalanced battles. (My Captain was lowest rank in battle - fighting Marshals - needless to say my score was not great). Match-making should be filling those battles that are only ~ half-full before creating a new battle for someone else. Also needs a lobby during the wait so we can see what map we are being assigned to and make adjustments before the battle starts. Tanki-X has a lot of issues - but it's implementation of a Lobby is way superior to sitting and watching a timer. Not sure what you mean here. Are you saying a player ... say Commander... can have a sergeant in his battle group. So if joining a MM battle that sergeant would be on that team? And vice/versa? A Sergeant clicking battle would be placed in battle with many other Sergeants but that Commander could also join?

You can't compare DM to Team Battles. Team battles rely so much on evenly balanced in terms of 1) numbers and 2) ranks So far #1 has failed a few times already - by a lot. When battles end 2 or 3 vs 8, it is not working.

So many 1-sided battles. First 3 battles were not even in numbers. 4 vs 5. 5 vs 6. 5 vs 6. What happened to 8 vs 8? One of my battles - Red Allert - finished 2 vs 6. 4 vs 5 on... Tribute or Silence maybe. 4 vs 5 on highways???? While using battle-list before never seemed to be an issue getting 7 vs 7 (or more) on the larger maps. Why is match-making starting battles 4 vs 4 when it's supposed to be 8 vs 8
