    Ideas for Missions!

    Some issues here... - Since we can't pick maps, or even battles going forward - completing a kill [hull] on [map] will take way too long - are these missions based on items currently in your garage? Cuz no one is buying items just to complete missions. - D/L is just for campers. They don't need any more encouragement. Good luck playing CTF or CP battles with those missions. - You can't give someone a mission based on enemies equipment. Player has no control over that and may never finish the mission.
  2. Typo? You are not suggesting that the longest shots should get a boost compared to current Max damage, are you? My tweak on the ideas is that min elevation is ~ 10 degrees and damage is based on charge-up. Send it out at 100% charge-up? Does current Max damage. Send it out at 50% charge-up? Does 50% current Max damage. Same for Splash radius - dependent on charge-up. So a magnum trying to hit a tank right in front of it will do a lot less damage than someone far away, as the charge will have to be << 100% to hit the close target.

    You are comparing apples and oranges. It's the account we are discussing in this case. If items were bought for the account, the account is considered "buying" because - not all items in garage were obtained through crystals accumulated from in-game battles / rewards. Some of those items were "bought" with $$. But in the long run though nobody really cares, so not sure why people tend to deny it.

    Why? Except for proposed OverDrives they are quite similar. You will have other things besides 2 medium hulls you will want to spend crystals on.

    50% is 50%, regardless of the turret. Thunder is affected no worse than Smokey. Imagine a smoky user picking away at enemy with 50% protection. it will take forever - the enemy would have no problem finding cover as it takes so many hits to kill it. The turrets that run out of ammo will be affected in a different way - they may not be able to kill the enemy unless they hide and recharge. So isida, Freeze, Fire and Ricco may have issues killing a heavy hull with 50% protection because their energy pool is not large enough to finish the job. Vulcan possibly too - it may be able to finish the job but has a chance to kill itself in doing so.

    Upgradable Overdrive

    Problem with OD is that it is generated by actions as well as time. A team with any kind of advantage (numbers, more avid supply-users, higher ranks) will generate OD faster. So the team that already has an advantage will gain more advantage - and put the battle out of reach quickly. Some players think that OD is a way for team that is losing to "catch up". They could not be more wrong. OverDrive needs to be tweaked so that the only way to generate it is time. After use it takes the exact same amount of time for all players to re-generate, regardless of how they are doing.

    If you have invested crystals and time to get Viking to M1 10/10 there's no point in buying Hunter. The hulls are very similar. Better off saving for a Module on sale or toward MUs on another item, or toward upgrading Viking when you unlock M2.

    At M3 it's 16.47% so that pumps avg damage from 472 to 516 Tops out at 20% in M4 which pumps avg damage from 535 to 582.
  12. Viking: Depends on the rate% increase. Dictator gives +100% Armor & +100% Damage to itself and nearby teammates. Consider 1 vs 1 (best case scenario for enemies) the Dictator would smoke a Viking unless the firing rate increased by 100%. Even then the Viking would need to benefit from secondary enhancement to even things up. And I have my doubts they give it +100% but you never know. Hunter: It sounds like Hunter will be able to affect enemies that have not yet used supplies - so it would remove any existing enhancements AND for xx seconds they won't be able to activate supplies from garage. This would be useful (even though you need to be close). Outstanding question though - does it place Dictators OD on cooldown? If not then it becomes less useful. Recent updates have made some of the proposed ODs (somewhat) obsolete. Every player can now see where the captured flag is - don't need Hornet OD for that. Golds drop a lot faster now - so an even slower mammoth will depend entirely on luck - they will never be able to get at drop-zone in time.

    Mammoth-Isida has very limited applications. The "normal" (soon to be MM) maps are all on the larger side. M-I is too slow with very short range to be effective in anything other than sitting on the flag. What is it gonna do in CP battles? Takes forever to get to each point and can't follow team-mates to heal them. Is it useless? No. Is it flexible in use? Not so much. If there's an M3 kit my Alt account might buy that - so I can get Mammoth for my Vulcan and Isida for my Hornet and Hunter.

    They nerfed almost every attribute, some multiple times. Yes, M2 is good. It has the highest unlock rank of M2 turrets - so it has to be good. Damage from m1 to m2 improved by a whopping 30%. Firebird is only other turret that seems similar improvement and I hear Fire M2 is Op as well. However, smoky quickly loses it's luster as you move to M3. 9% improvement is one of the lowest jumps. At M3 Ricco overtakes smoky IMO.

    Matrix? Try Predator - even more OP for unlock rank. Hunter M1 (> viking m1) 4 ranks early? It's ridiculous. How many of those 14 were Thunder users? Self-protection kind of skews the numbers...

    We already have seen - over and over - how much this turret ruins battles. The game was designed for Direct Line of Fire weapons. It's not surprising an indirect fire weapon affects the battle massively. Devs even went out of their way to re-design maps to be more favorable for Magnum. Guess which turret is the only turret not affected by all the extra barriers they added to many maps...

    Forest 95% right-angle wall free. Might as well use unstable plasma Alex 85% right-angle free. Large map you will need MFS. Once you start using it against faster target you will realize the issue. At your rank tanks are relatively slower.

    Probably would be better idea to finish current announced roll-outs and make them work 100% before adding something drastic like "roles". And you'd think something like OverDrive would add enough "role"-type differences as it is.

    Doesn't hurt that you're at M2 8/10 at Captain. You're likely still fighting many m1 upgrades and ~ stock m2s. Since the projectiles without MFS are basically slow enough to dodge, you'd be dead at long-range before you could get close enough to do any damage. And twins with long-range alt would eat Ricco without MFS.

    Wouldn't it be ironic as - since you can't see what your team-mates are using before battle, that all 10 people say... Isida? why not? But that is moot since... players can visit garage and you could end up facing 6 isidas anyway.

    Yeah Vulcan I think is underestimated these days. Pretty happy with it at m2. And I agree with Onion - they should not have nerfed the gyroscope so much. Impact needed nerfing - it was silly. But gyroscope?
