Yeah, Smoky not very good in DM - requires too many shots - and is subject to kill-steals quite often. For small maps I use Isida as it kills fast when in range. Just bought Ricco M3 and sorry to say, Smoky will be in storage for a while. A Ricco should always - ALWAYS - attack the isida first. The shot-bounces should help facilitate this.

It's a gimmick - to generate "interest" Like that glowing-puck-comet-trail (FoxTrax) Fox-Sports tried in hockey in 1996 to - "bring in more audience". That worked out well... oh... wait a minute...
-
1) Not conjecture - it's my experience too 2) Not for the better. at all. we paid crystals for a certain type of hull. Then they took that hull away. 3) I'm tired too - tired of their constant changes that are NOT making the game better.

Were you playing Osa? I joined a game in Osa last night. After 3 min the other team - ALL OF THEM - camped in our spawning area and just kept hitting Overdive one after the other. We did not have a chance to move after spawning. Just silly. I left promptly. Overdrive does not work. Well, it will work for one team - the one that uses lots of supplies early. Then they build up to 100% faster. Then the other team is doomed.

Kits have indeed lost a lot of their value over last updates. And even cheaper to buy separate components if you don't care about paints. One advantage they have is early unlock - especially for M3s. You can start upgrading the M3 earlier - assuming you have saved enough. For some it might be worth it.

That was my exact reaction too. Word. For. Word.

Those Smoky's must be using DD cuz no way they kill an M3 wasp in 2 shots, even M4s can't do that with a critical I have Smoky M3.5 and it in no way feels "OP". Ricco beats it 3 out of 5, most nights.

Have you seen hammer in Tanki-X now that they've tried to make it more "realistic" with 'weak' armour in the rear? Hornet hammers running around one-shotting everything except heavys. Whole teams of them. It is laughable. Everyone hugging a wall/building so they won't get caught from behind and wrecked.
-
And how many days to do those "only 20 steps" ?
-
#balance Was what i believe they first used as an "explanation". No idea what they mean by that. Then they were silent as the grave on the subject. I suspect it's just another way to 'encourage' us to spend crystals...

Can't tell if you are joking or not... In any event, nope - it didn't help. AT ALL.

Yeah... I re-read it and adjusted my posting... depends on when they award that 2922 crystals... if it's immediately or just upon the next server-reset heading into June 5th.
-
"P.S. Make sure you log into the game on Tanki’s Birthday on June 4th for an extra special reward that includes 24 hours of Premium account, 2922 crystals" Not sure how you can collect 2x... you need to have the premium enabled before the server re-set. Then you have to log in after the server re-set to collect. So that is > 24 hrs, no? Or is there some trick I'm missing? If we log-in mid-way through June 4th do we immediately get the 2922 crystals, and then collect again upon next server-reset?

There's still plenty. Battle starts it's 4 vs 4. Less than five minutes later it's 8 vs 4... I wonder if 4 of those team-mates were mults kicked out due to inactivity? Too bad they were in long enough for enemy to get 8 tanks.

Double Armor Duration: 30 seconds Cooldown: 30 seconds Smart Cooldowns: Reduced by 50% What were the Stats from previous occasion?

Not at M3. Good luck with your Viking :P

In addition to progressing faster (experience), having more supplies and better garage (relative to opposition) also means you get more crystals per experience point - at the expense of those without the supplies and with less enhanced garage. Skills can only partially offset the advantage lots of supplies (and better equipment) give. The user experience for non-buyers is getting worse with every update and the likes of "special days" with DBF. It's fine to say that "the buyers you are fighting now will progress faster and move up beyond you". But guess what - there's more buyers behind them who will be shortly moving up and replacing them. Cycle continues. What was the explanation for no DBF in Pro-battles?

What makes you Mad in Tanki? Things you hate/like in the game?

That one example does not offset all the crummy battles that result because of this change. You'll notice that many battles also have all the high ranks on same side. It's ridiculous. -
Unbalanced Teams. Mults or tankers leaving part-way through for no apparent reason. Could be the same - mult stays in long enough to allow other team max numbers. Then the mults are slowly weeded out through inactivity. Is happening a lot now - many battles after 5 minutes are 8 vs 4 when they started 4 vs 4. Those battles are unplayable - and you often don't notice until you are getting spawn-killed repeatedly. What a waste of time.
-
Hunter is the more stable and Viking is the slightly faster. If you like Smoky Hunter is a better platform for aiming.
-
All I'm saying is at higher ranks, it's not as easy to kill them as you make it sound. For one - they have developed more tactics than to just establish a camping spot and hope no one finds them. Secondly - they have protection against themselves and protection against most common turrets. They are not afraid at all to go toe-to-toe because they inflict so much more damage on the enemy than they inflict on themselves.
-
Well, the DDs you use certainly don't hamper your chances. When you fight someone using >40% Thunder and Magnum Protection you won't be laughing either.
-
I added hammer instead of Isida. Isida is powerful close range, but spends a good amount of energy healing. So it is not as fearful in CP as it might be in DM (where no healing involved)
-
Hopefully they are going to tweak the damage, or splash-radius, or splash-damage, or some combination of all three to make a turret that is not so OP. The fact that most tankers don't have Protection Modules for it (we only have so many crystals) does not help. having to choose between buying another Module to offset a new turret vs adding more flexibility to my garage - I have to choose flexibility. Magnum is likely to be at it's zenith in power until it gets nerfed or opponents finally have the luxury of adding an unplanned-for Module

DBF for 24hrs + Sale on "Supplies 1500" and Shop kits

What? Nah - I don't do "testing" for tanki. Or was that sarcasm? If so, please add emotis... So not just "total crystals" and not just per "event". As per posting above this... a combination of event and value of that event. I guess that makes sense.
