I used smoky a lot after I bought M2, then M3. I'm a bit underwhelmed. It loses to all short-range turrets up close. It has lousy long range so it loses to all long weapons weapons on large maps. They nerfed the critical and re-load rate too much. Now that I bought Ricco (& long range alt) I havenot used smoky.

Firebird M0 also does has more DPS. But your range is a wee bit better no? That's the way it works. If you can't kill or damage it enough before it closes you're on the wrong map or need to change your strategy.

I suspect... They already drug hard and are the main benefactors or... They have no supplies and think this will help them. wait until they rank a few times - out of the no-drug ranks - and see what happens.

valid Protection modules decrease 10-15% the impact force of the weapons they are protecting
wolverine848 replied to Strikechard123 in Ideas and Suggestions
So if you are getting impact protection with these modules, are you giving up damage protection? Cuz ya can't have it both ways... -
I think what you meant to say was... "Basically, battles will still be the complete one-sided fiascos they have been for a while as one side drugs heavily from the start and reaches OverDrive first. Then they can spawn-kill at will and prevent the other team from leaving their base". Yes, I think that's what you meant to say. Bang On!

Ah... I get it. So your old keyboard you could not circle while turning your turret and firing... interesting. Guess mine was fine because I can at least do that.

Always loved Kunger. Looking for a CTF... not one Kunger CTF on any of the servers :o If only I could create a Kunger CTF batttle in order to do my daily missions... oh... wait... :(

"presses up to 6 buttons at once"... how does this work. Or... what does this do?

Well, some of us don't like the game-play with supplies - at all. Even if I had unlimited RKs I'd still dislike the style of play. So we have become used to playing Pro-battles - theoretically this would lead to less complaints with the separation of our "worlds". But we counted on weekly missions as part of our income - I regularly changed any supply-reward mission trying to get more crystal-missions. Then the Devs in their wisdom decided to change it so we could not complete our daily missions in pro-battles. Apparently because a few people were "gaming" the system and doing 1-on-1 fire/wasp battles to get easy completions. I personally think it's because buyers in normal battles did not have enough cannon-fodder. So Devs "encouraged" us to play normal by taking away our ability to complete missions in Pro-Battles. So I suggest many of the complaints are from people who were just doing Pro-Battle and have now been forced to participate in Normal battles where supplies are used a LOT. No proof - just my theory...

Hornet migh not be best choice for CP in small maps where encounters happen often, but is great on large maps. you'll be capping at 2:1 ratio vs the slower tanks, especially 1) early in battle and 2) if use lots of Speed.

When I think of Developers, what comes to mind is the people who design and implement (program) the ideas for the game. Are they the same people who decide what ideas and features need to be implemented?

You were able to complete a FINISH FIRST with no opposition as battle ended? :o

Bigger rewards for completing mission chains this summer!

You didn't miss much "last night". Most servers were down when I logged in. Finally did a mission and logged out. -
It might be in reference to fact you can disable supplies in Pro-Battle = no artificial power-ups.

Weapon change... ON ??? Why? Good luck enforcing only 1 of each hull / turret type...

Without SU, how long are those last 10 M3 steps going to take? You'll need at least 10 diff sales as you'll never get more than one per sale. And I'm thinking you are actually going to miss some sales for last couple...
-
The way you described it (you in red, friend in blue) kind of seems like there's no one on blue team ("tell your blue side friend to leave means 2-0 in battle") when the battle ends. You can't claim Finish 1st mission with no opponent. Doesn't matter how many flags you cap with an opponent - if no one on opposite side when battle ends = NO REWARD. Maybe a typo?
-
Oh - i understand. Unfortunately, communication within teams with the combined severs is... spotty at best.
-
1) Devs had made lots of changes over past couple years - many of them unexpected. I guess I don't have a crystal-ball like you do. 2) Define successful... I've made it to Gizmo without spending a dime. 3) What you call "moaning" I classify as campaigning. Po-Tay-toe / Po-Tah-toe. See my definition of "adapt" previous post.

I was on opposite team so i guess I'm a noob... even though we won (barely) and I placed 1st or 2nd... You realize that even though Polygon is not a large map, the SINGLE CP point is a magnet for Splash damage. So a team has to weigh chasing the campers that can do huge damage, or piling into the pit to hold the CP. Decisons... decisions...
-
So because I'm in favor of reducing power of supplies that means... what? And you keep using that word adapted. Like everyone should aim for the lowest common denominator. Keep on keeping-on. <_< mate.
-
Nah... it's "good" exactly how it is. No need for that balance crap. ;)
-
"Suppress" - Bad choice of word on my part. By suppress i meant spawn-kill so the team never gets to 100%. if they keep dying they are not doing much. Current situation it takes forever based only on time. The killing and capping speeds it up a lot.
-
Then ya need 4 cuz... who plays Polygon CP without planting one in the tunnel? As an aside - some people consider Isida OP - high DPS. So sure, it excels on small-med maps where it does not have far to go to attack. Magnum on the other hand has unlimited range and thus should excel on larger maps. Funny though how many people use it on the smaller maps and it also excels there too.

I agree. it is very frustrating when that happens. Supposedly it evens out in long run... but is frustrating.
