Tried it there, but was a bit disappointed. Lots of angled walls that cause the balls to head upward. It's very small flat areas make it difficult. Maybe i just need more practice... but - i do have more luck in the other castle (Cologne) with bigger courtyard.

What makes you Mad in Tanki? Things you hate/like in the game?

Pro-Battle no supplies? You could win! Think of all the experience... hopefully some crystals to go along with that. -
Of course their announcement will be "survey results indicate massive support for Overdrive" :o  ;)

And they die just as you are about to heal them. And now you are the only target in vicinity... -
How would you join a game then? The game won't start until it's full (10 vs 10)? Wonder how long that might take... 6 vs 6 sitting there and cant get 8 more tanks to join... And... what happens when someone drops out - stays 10 vs 9 until over? maybe even 10 vs 6 until over?

LOL... not a problem - if you don't play... -
It's a map that... - generates kills for red - generates crystals for red - generates experience for isida (more-so on blue) - can help Isida (on blue) finish first 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 CP has been fun on this map. Any more tanks than that - yes - it's just a grind. kinda like polygon.

Just for June I believe. So you might get that three more times.

Just don't think it is needed. There are other ways to counter them, as discussed numerous times above - Isidas have many short-commings like other turrets. (attack only one enemy at time / short range / limited energy pool [that depletes in 5 sec when attacking])... You speak of "four together".. Four of any tank that can be an issue. They run into 4 hammers - how quickly do think those 4 hammers could waste an isida or two? Once two isidas are gone what are they gonna do? -

And if the Pro-battles disappear (very few last night, if any) because of the mission-update I guess I'll be playing a LOT less. :( -
Hmmm... if you are getting killed again and again - you can't be "doing" much over time. So that suggests there is imbalance. The thing is, higher ground does give an advantage, even in an arcade game like this. It's easier to drop down to middle level than it is to drive up one of three ramps that can easily be blocked or become a kill zone. If a team controls 2-out-of-3 levels they have control of the map and will likely win. There are exceptions of course, but with teams fairly balanced in power and numbers, Blue will lose more than it will win.

They already reduced the angle because Isida always healed a nearby team-mate with the wide angle. Is actually harder to target. The limit on healing is the energy pool. It runs out and has to re-charge. Unlike... say Twins. And if isida attacks it runs out twice as fast. Buy a Module with Isida protection or kill them from a distance. No diff from me hating Shaft able to one-shot my M3 viking. Forced to buy protection. -
Not Smoky - requires multiple shots to make a kill. Often subject to kill-steals.
-
Been playing smoky for over a year now - half-decent with it I guess. Just bought Ricco M3 and the alteration. On any map with right angles (angled walls become useless) it is pretty sweet. Silence comes to mind... And the learning curve for where to aim for a bounce hit... not bad. Blind-luck hits come in handy too - you never know who's around the corner.

Oh i read that and agree 100%. says exactly how I feel. Not sure how the Devs thought this would be good for the game. It has back-fired big-time. It's not fun at all. -

Can't wait for 10 vs 10 in Sandbox :D   What is current default in normal... 4 vs 4? I disagree - Overdrive will still suk. It ALL depends on how hard you want to drug - team doing the most wins since they will reach overdrive first. Devs have increased supply usage with this implementation. For me that's not a battle... -

MAGNUM. STRIKER. SPLASHDAMAGE. amirightlittlewillie? As an aside - if those isidas keep healing each other they can't attack. And vice-versa. It is not unlimited supply. -

But they no longer have self-healing. So there is hardly a need for a special module to "counter" them. Up close Firebird kills quickly too, and can affect multiple targets. -
I guess if you buy those other things it could be considered a disappointment. For me - I buy basics and not supplies, or SHOP... so was ok.

wolverine848 replied to Ditzy-Dip in Archive
Would have been nice but sadly no... finished near bottom (as expected with that equipment) and our team lost badly. That player was basically a mult that moves around and won't get booted by system. There is absolutely no excuse for a Marshal to be using m0 equipment in a team game. They want to challenge themselves? Go play DM with m0. Otherwise they are just handicapping a team. -
Hulls, Turrets, Modules and Alterations were all 50% off, not 40%. The "Overdrive" implementation in team battles is a complete failure from balance-point-of-view, but sales were mostly good.

A Marshal on your team using m0 rail and m0 viking while opponents have m3 or better... -

I agree. They've killed tactics and nerfed strategy It's all about getting the jump with supplies. And Overdrive makes it even worse. -
Do the math... if it lasts 33% less, you will end up using more in a 15-min battle. So the more you use, the more you will need to buy right?
