Of course I'm a bit biased. Just to get clarification on the "pretty much ONLY a healer..." part - you are not advocating weakening it's current abilities in team games? Status quo?

We agree on a lot of things but... not this one. What if there's two on a side? or start of battle one each side? What will Isida do?

There is a slider bar. Move it left/right and you will see the icons change.

If the paying for the Pro Pass allows me to avoid drug-wars then I am likely to come out ahead in the long run. Unfortunately in the short run I am not finding a lot of suitable Pro-Pass battles. Or I create one and takes quite a while for tankers to join. It is a bit of a struggle at moment.

Does not always happen. Took me two days to complete my Red Alert mission. And I have a Pro Pass now. Not enough people using them yet to make map missions doable in a timely fashion.

It's a good tactic. If you can do it in their own base even better. Heck I do it in my own base half the time when I see enemy coming. No way I'm letting them grab our flag AND the health box on the way out.

In my case I got the Kit for ~ 410k crystals during a sale. The module is decent - Smoky/Ricco/Shaft. I did not have decent protection for any of those so it filled a void. Received ~ 100 of each supply. Bought it at General so I unlocked equipment 1 rank early - helps improve standing in battles = more crystals. I can get the kills I need for missions now. Not saying kits are for everyone - but - I needed upgrade ASAP after they nerfed Isida. And Smoky M3 mostly fit the bill.

Maybe they have more upgrades but Freeze does not have much issue killing my Isida or smoky. If you don't see them coming you are done. Next module will be FireBird/Freeze/Hammer.

yeah.. but... lots of charts... So the avg dmg for twins M4 does not change much... 380-440 = 410 avg. -45% from protection = 225. That's 14 cycles for 3000 health. With re-load of 0.3 (current?) lets just say 3 cycles per second. 5 seconds it does 3000 damage? That's much faster than 9.6 seconds. Please correct if mistake in numbers. Basically - Twins owns Thunder in smaller maps. This does not even account for Splash damage on the Thunder if close-combat.

Sometimes the kits work out sometimes they don't. Buying Guardian on paint-sale day + Module with Ricco/Smoky protection + early unlock + bonus supplies made it worth-while for me.

Oh, I don't disagree. Was just trying out the numbers - but I don't have the current cycle rate. Also, I can't recall if twins has variable damage (within max dmg range) like Thunder does.

You M4 Thunder would take 5 shots (avg dmg 880) to kill an M4 Mammoth (no protection). That's 4 re-loads at 2.4 seconds = 9.6 seconds. A twins M4 doing 440 dmg per "cycle" vs 45% Protection ends up doing 242 dmg per "cycle". To kill your M4 Viking with 3000 health that's 13 "cycles". How fast does an M4 twins "cycle"?

Daily missions - the Map-based missions are terrible. We can filter for battle-type (CTF/CP/DM/TDM) but we can't filter for maps. Additionally - depending on time of day one can play - they are very difficult to start - let alone complete. Very frustrating to buy a Pro-Pass, "create" a battle on an uncommon map (because you have a mission) only to have no one join. Please get rid of the map-based daily missions.

Wait - if it's 6 vs 5 and "6" is currently losing you want to be able to make it 7 vs 5? How do you know it's not already trending up for the "6" team? What if it's CP... 25-28? Still make it 7 vs 5? You don't think it will quickly be 42-29? Where do you draw the line? "load instantly" = no cool-down time? After 10 seconds load another DD? Would become even more unbalanced as those with huge supply cache would absolutely wrek those without. They can afford to keep spamming supplies. If you want friendly fire you have to go all the way - Thunder Splash would damage team-mates and fire/freeze would affect team-mates. That would never fly.

For 90% of the kits... add up price of hull & turret outside of kit. The kit will be very close in price, if not less. So for ~ price you also get... - Protection Module - Paint (meh) - Small supply kit - varies on kit you just bought - early unlock - allows you to be OP for a couple ranks. You will get more crystals per battle by finishing higher. You might be able to get the items in kit on sale separately, but in many instances the kit save you crystals. And if the Protection Module is useful to you it's a no-brainer.

I don't disagree. 50% was too much. But going down to 10% is a failed experiment. Why they do such drastic modifications is beyond me. Why not try 30% or 25% and see how it goes. Another tweak of 5% later on to correct - not a big deal.

Tell that to the Brigadier who may have purchased it before the "Re-balance". Why is it ok for you to complain about loss of power in Vulcan, but not for Isida players?

Let's pretend I'm at the rank where I see only M3+. Now let's say Isida is my only M3 turret. Now let's say I get two of my missions as "Destroy 50 tanks" and "Gain 300xp in DM". Is my "Healing" tank gonna help me much here? How much xp will my turret get me "Healing" in DM?

Might depend on time of day and how many users logged in. Last night I needed Red Alert. Finally bought a Pro Pass to 1) create games I need and 2) try to stay away from drug wars Created a game with no supplies - 20 min - waited at least 6 min. No one joins. Did some other maps for other mission. Created another Red Alert with no supplies - 20 min - two people joined. They stayed one game. Still need Red Alert. Caved and searched RU servers. Found one Red Alert - ranks mostly higher than me - Drug War. Didn't stay long. Still need to complete Red Alert mission. :angry:

True. When you see the damage counts displayed for hits at long range... 23, 27, 19, 26.... you think meh... not too bad. Until you remember the hulls now have 10x the health. M3 Viking at 2500 health. 10+ shots. Yikes.

Until they nerf it three weeks later. Well, maybe two months later. They need to give you time to sink some MUs into it. ;)

Yeah, that's one drawback for the 2 min timer. 10 minutes invested in game and your team starts bailing. Opponent outnumbers and spawn-kills. Leaving sucks if you have a good score but pausing for only 2 min does not give much relief. At least 3 more deaths.

I think Blackwasp had a quote from the powers that be... something to the effect that by "balance" they actually mean "balance in terms of equipment used." They want an even split of all the equipment. I know... it makes no sense. Forcing items on people by changing what they already have is... flawed.
