Yeah... lol Vulcan right now. It's ridiculous. It literally steers my hornet into walls and off ramps. I could cry.

Impact force on Ricco (as with Vulcan) needs to be lowered. It is just too much for anything less than Dictator to fight back with. No turret should prevent another from replying (well one-shot turrets do but that's a different discussion). Once a current Ricco starts hitting any "lighter" hull it's game over for that other tanker. They can't drive properly or fire accurately at all and that is just too much of an advantage. Ricco has that advantage until it's clip it empty. By that time other tank is dead.

Keep supplies but adjust some effects/pricing... Repair kits - effects as-is but cost 200 cry and smaller proportion in Kits - maybe 1/3 amount of other supplies. Double Armor/Damage - work at +50% instead of +100%. Gives advantage but not a game-changing advantage. Speed Boost - as per proposed +40% in speed.- 2,768 replies

Just to clarify... I'm not buying a Hunter. Was just a reference to the "re-balancing" of hulls. Devs are basically taking away my Viking and giving me a Hunter. :(
-
Depends on map. larger ones I often use hornet to chase down enemies and/or capture points/flags. Medium and smaller I often go with Viking (soon to be Hunter    :( ) as per the Medic kit. Survive longer as I close distance.

So they give up Splash Damage and get... ? Just the ability to not damage themselves? Not sure that would fly. They can use a protection module to mitigate 50% of Splash already. Thunders need to kill other tanks to score points/crystals and losing Splash would affect that negatively. Maybe (slightly) increased damage? Or faster rotation?
-
Haven't looked recently but I may have more than 50% of my experience from Isida.
-
How much did that cost? Somewhere around double what you would spend by waiting for M1 unlock rank? or a kit? Did you gain back the many crystals you spent on MUs by dominating those stuck with M0?
-
Yeah, I played Thunder up to M1. Then it lost it's lusty quickly (partly due to high unlock rank). I found it frustrating with the splash damage hurting myself - very hard to battle firebird/isida/freeze as they always attack up close. I switched to Smoky at M2 and liked it. Not sure how I feel about the nerfing of critical in return for a small increase in max dmg. But getting rid of splash dmg entirely for Thunder would change the nature of the weapon entirely. Lose it's character. Maybe they should remove the self-dmg. I mean u don't damage your allies - so why damage to yourself?
-
My impression is that all guns with min/max damage are different from Rail. While Rail has "unlimited" range (distance to target no factor) all the other weapons have an even drop-off in damage as the gun is further from the target. A step-by-step progression downward. An opinion - no stats to prove this...
-
Often depends on how often you use supplies in a battle. If constantly spamming repair kits and DD then yes you are likely to get raged at. Sure drugs are part of the rules. However, when battles become so lop-sided because one Team has some "buyers" and other does not, how long you think you will have anyone to play against? There will come a time when all your opponents will be "buyers" too. How much "advantage" do you think your drugs will give you then?
-
I still get too many errors, but manage to get back into the battles. Sometimes it takes a while and battle actually over - but I make it back.
-
But you said the "new" viking rides like a pancake Hornet. I would not say that is not the same playing style. Same armor sure. But stability and movement are a big part of the equation. And yes - getting a choice to keep old would be great. Except that would defeat their purpose. They want us to spend more crystals to keep what we already have.
-
Well that is just brutal then. I bought a kit with Viking M3 because I like the way Viking handles. Now I have a Hunter? I want my crystals back.
-
Could be the case. IMO does not make smoky OP as Thunder can do that with every shot. Did you ever get an answer on how smoky critical works at long range? Is there damage fall-off over distance?
-
I guess none of them have ever driven a bus or even a van. Let me re-phrase - have any of them ever driven a motor vehicle? They should not only "skip the exchange" - they should slap themselves for thinking it up
-
Wait wut? That was paraphrased from the V-log? Specifically the Viking/Hunter switch? Their explanation is that a lower wider tank should be less stable than the taller skinnier tank?
-
I think it's a great turret. I'm saving for Guardian kit at moment - (disappointed with proposed nerf on critical). What I could not figure out was how Evolution was one-shotted by a smoky. The stats don't support that happening unless... - he was damaged much more than "almost full hp viking" or... - he was hit by another weapon at same time or... - he also drove over a mine, or... - the M-level is not the same (and that would be fair comparison)
-
So... did V-log address why the specs of Viking and Hunter are being switched?
-
At same M-level your Viking must have been more damaged than you remember. Else the smoky could not have placed a one-shot kill. Guess we'll have to agree to disagree that Smoky criticals are OP.
-
Priceless...
-
When opposing team has 9-1 lead in CTF and refuses to cap the 10th. They'd rather spawn-kill your obviously overmatched team. Time to go on pause - if only rest of your team would take same advice...
-
Depends on whether or not you are helping your teams objectives. If you die repeatedly without either capping or killing then yes, it could be considered multing. You really like an M0 combo? Play DM where you are not a "drag" to a team. Or play games with lower ranks where your combo is closer to the norm.
-
Problem is they are nerfing Isida big-time. Buying now you may regret it later IF it performs as expected. I already have it so that ship has sailed. If I did not already have it I really don't know if I would spend crystals on it later if/when "balancing" takes place.
-
What hull were you getting one-shot killed by smoky? An M4 smoky with DD can do max 200 dmg (100x2) on a critical. So it can kill an (unprotected) M4 Wasp or M3 Hornet one shot. Rail, Shaft and Thunder can also do this. And since that is a less than 1-in-5 chance i don't see that as being OP at all.
