    Not always. Some of those missions are on maps that tankers hardly ever play on. Or an Isida player getting mission - 50 kills. Takes longer (after the nerf) for Isida to chase down 50 tanks than it does a rail. I know you get one free switch but... sometimes you get both of the above...

    Do any of these "fixes" involve lag? Over past week many battles have become almost unplayable. Driving off roads in Monte-Carlo more times than enemy kills me is a little... embarrassing. :unsure:

    Yup - Fire M3 (with alt) is a beast. And freeze M3 seems brutal now as well. The jump from M2 to M3 for freeze is immense - has the greatest increase in parameters of all the turrets.

    Picked up Guardian kit last night as the paint sale (Nano = 350k crys !!!) saved me ~ 48,000 cry. Always thought Guardian came with the Ursa T-B module. But it actually came with Ursa T-C. Is my memory failing or did they make a switch? I think I would have preferred T-B as rails are more common than shaft. And Smoky/Ricco/Rail seems better combo than Smoky/Ricco/shaft.

    Picked up Smoky M3 last night and tried it out. I was a little underwhelmed. Damage and reload did not seem much improved vs M2. Before everyone says "ur not using it right" I will qualify... It was just one evening. The lag was horrible - making the battles almost unplayable. And the drugging was - rampant. Seemed more than usual. But everyone suffers similar lag so I will also add... Maybe my expectations were a wee bit too high. - The jump from M2 to M3 gives the smallest % increases for Smoky. It is no where near the jump from M1-M2 - I had ~ 15 MUs on my Smoky M2. So my "real" increases are even smaller than on paper. I will need to add ~ 15 MUs to make a proper comparison. Plus the performance gap between M3-M4 is > gap between M2-M3.

    If they hit it from a distance first - weakening it - yes. Isida is not self-healing as it approaches - only when it attacks. Same basic outcome from a firebird or a freeze. That thunder or rail is in a tough spot if any short-range turret gets close. Long range need to kill them from a distance while short-range need to survive long enough to get close. 50% self-heal was obviously too much. 10% self-heal has obviously gone way too far. Meet in the middle ~ 25% or 30% and most will be satisfied.

    You can heal and self-heal in a battle. Well... before the nerf anyway. Heal tanks at your base. If opponents come after your flag when you are there you can attack and destroy them, keeping yourself alive as you do this. been the way I played ever since I picked up M2. Also jump into an assault on base to grab flag. Heal yourself as you kill defender and hopefully you have picked up enough life to survive the return trip to base.

    Not sure it works that way - I think it is completely random - regardless of garage. Of course the best missions for isida are "gain experience in battles" as that gives us freedom to choose map and game-type. I never choose DM unless I have already made the freebie switch.

    Isida is currently my only M3 so yes - I have used it plenty since the update. In team battles with plenty of mates to heal I can gain experience fairly easily. What it does not do well is... 1) Kill enemies. Hard in any battle. Doubly hard in DM. 2) get me experience in battles with few teammates - especially if we are spread out in a large map. So, now it is much harder to complete missions since I don't get to choose them. The one "freebie" does not offset the need to automatically change kill 50 enemies or 500 xp on DM. And there are no "heal team-mate" missions. Funny, as that seems to be the main purpose of Isida now. You have a lot of comments on Isida. How much have you played Isida and at what M-level?

    Read Blackwasps' response. it sums it up nicely. isidas still number one target because they keep the potent enemies alive longer to kill you more.
  17. Very annoying. Was in a game playing Blue on Noise. Wasp lost it and I grabbed it. By time I got to bottom our flag was missing. Yet this wasp insisted I give up the flag. As if it was the best choice as caretaker of enemy flag while we waited for ours to return :blink: I often do give back the flag if situation presents itself. But not this case. I've seen many a game where tanker tries to do a good deed only to have our team miss out on the cap.

    Ok - it will help Isida acquire experience. But once in combat Isida will be dead meat. It won't compete in non-simulated combat. And the Titan-Isida experiment... :lol: - maybe on Island or Noise.

    I assume a module that offers 50% protection would cut slowness by 50%? So does not completely negate. However don't recall any documentation on that. Devs - please confirm.

    Are you referring to healing others and gaining experience as opposed to "self-healing" during combat? At 10% the self-healing is barely noticeable.

    Hold the phone... Freeze protection module reduces damage AND freeze-rate (slowness)? For some reason I was under the impression only the old Anaconda paint did that.

    And a good Firebird makes use of the burning. It won't stand there until both opponents have emptied their tanks.

    What exactly do you mean by "dedicated healer"? An impotent tank that just heals? B-O-R-I-N-G. I can just imagine your version of an Isida - following his team-mates around so it can get a few points of experience. Maybe chasing a wasp team-mate who's slightly injured - "Slow down - I can't heal you..." Comical. Everyone has a turret they despise. If tanki deleted every turret that was despised by someone I don't think there would be any turrets left.

    I think they are mostly referring to the tankers who hit 3 the moment they re-spawn - every time. And whenever they are going mano-a-mano to grab a CP they constantly use Repair. In Gizmo battles where everyone has pretty much the same supplies it might be more reasonable - most are on similar level. However, in ranks below Gizmo only "Buyers" have the resources to drug after every re-spawn. The playing field is not at all level. Makes for poor, very one-sided battles. Not fun at all.
