My viking M3 dies in seconds now. Stands no chance once you are in range. Freeze rules Noise, Polygon and Silence. It's not even close.
-
Rail M2 now does between 435 and 1070 damage. Wasp M0 has 650. Depends on luck...
-
Well that sucks. thought having critical not affected by range would mitigate some of the vast nerfing it received. And I don't understand why Thunder has 50% weak damage while smoky has... 10%?? 10% of already weak damage vs 50% of Thunders greater damage? David vs Goliath at very long range...
-
Yikes! That's a long time. I went from Thunder M1 at WO4 so wait wasn't as long. And got Smoky M2 in Atlas kit. But that was expensive to.
-
"you just need skill..." Nice. How about we nerf your most used weapon ... say cut the damage down 50-60%. And when you complain we'll just say "it's still great. You just need skill to compete with your nerfed turret." That sound fair?
-
And now u have the most OP weapon. Does more damage than Firebird and brings all opponents in range to a complete standstill. Enjoy!
-
Pre-update was unlocked at Commander. Opponents had equipment to defend against it. With unlock at Marshall Ricco destroys Generals and below fairly easily.
-
On this account? And no it's not really a choice - it's my only M3. Oh course it's my choice to not play I guess. Nice choice. "face it" (your words) - more Isida users hate this update than like it. It's not even clode.
-
That's pretty expensive. You likely know this already but - it costs twice as much to MU vs buying next M-Level...
-
Not overlooked. Can easily account for 50% of xp. What about the other 50%? Relegating Isidas to sit in your base JUST healing team-mates is ... BORING. Tankers think of treating Isidas as servants -
-
Or... people who have it as their only M3. I'm in that boat. So until I can scratch enough coin to buy another kit (or wait for Marshal) I'm stuck using it. Or M2 smoky. And since a lot - a lot of battles have enemies with multiple M3 combos (and modules) it is hard to compete. Sure healing plays a big role. I'd say 50% of my xp came from healing. But when a firebird /twins/FREEZE comes around the corner isida is dead. Without drugs it can't compete in DM. The other short-range weapons have some kind of bonus. Isida does not.
-
And the Firebird (with alteration) right behind you is doing even more damage to all of you! (while the hornet Isida sits off to the side and watches  )
-
You mean "non-buyers"? How is this good for non-buyers? If we had equipment that got nerfed we are stuck with that, and now need to scratch and claw enough crystals to replace that obsolete M3 (I'm looking at you Isida). Buyers, if they want, can just plop down another wad of $$ and grab a new set of better M3 equipment. In fact many buyers already have multiple M3 sets and can thus switch, and still compete.
-
That term "fatties" made me chuckle. And I agree - without using DD it can't fight other tanks 1-on-1. It does not last long enough - the 10% is basically useless.
-
I don't think this is unique to shaft. Have had this happen with smoky and isida. Same thing with my turrets in Tanki-X. Every spawn the turret rotates on it's own until you press z or x key (or c)
-
Now that you mention this - it reminds me of Tanki-X. I found a huge difference in the way the hulls performed from one game to the next. They seem more similar now - not a good thing.
-
What? The modules offer protection as a % of damage subtracted from the weapon firing upon you - not fixed hit point reduction. 15 protection should still be 15% reduction - not 15 hit points.
-
Not sure if you get to add Splash damage - I think that is only on other tanks around you. As for time... less than 9 seconds. You get a free-bee on the first one as it is already loaded. So only two re-loads.
-
But the Devs keep saying how unique the Isida is and that we should embrace it's healing power. I challenge them to back that up by allowing healing missions - all "DM experience" can be converted to "healing experience". That would be fair.
-
I had the same arguments for Isida - but it got nerfed. At least freeze can damage/kill multiple tanks before the juice is used up. Isida - as mentioned before - can only attack 1 enemy at a time.
-
Wait a second... they just nerfed Isida because it was too hard to combat. But it will be okay for freeze to "slow down enemies at the point where they are paralyzed and cannot drive or rotate their turrets." I think "not being able to drive or rotate turret" is at least as bad as what Isida could do with 50% self-heal...
-
The small increase to overall speed does not make up for the loss of armor and the poor handling. For me anyway...
-
Shortly after the server re-set yes. MY turret kept turning long after I released the key.
-
How many people are online playing Tanki today vs before that "rebalance"?
-
Not sure if ... serious. I'm a Viking user and hate this part of the update.
