Who is asking for 100% balance? I think most players just want more balance - so they actually have a chance in each battle they enter. Otherwise they will quit those battles, and eventually quit TO. Maybe that's because it's so homogenous. MatchMaker would be boring if every hull and every turret was the same.

Won't work. 1) You can equip/un-equip drones once in a battle 2) Someone may sacrifice some hull/turret upgrades to get a drone. So they will be at a disadvantage when going up against only drone users as some/many of those drone users might actually have lots of turret/hull upgrades. MM will work better if the rank-spreads are tightened up so they are not so ridiculous. And the OP items need to be toned down. It's a P2W game, and buyers will want advantages. But TO is giving them too many advantages and battles have become a complete mess.

I believe TinBox just meant that MatchMaker battles against enemies of similar rank/power/ability is the most fun. Being way UP is not fun. And being way OP becomes boring quickly and is also not fun. Challenging - but fair battles - are the most fun is the message I get from that post. Nothing to do with pro/format specifically.

OK - most of the hours are in DM. BUT - that screen-shot was from a team battle. So basically multing in a Legend team battle. Should be booted from that battle for purposely using inferior items when they have much better in the garage.

That Legend player with GS = 2800 is an embarrassment to the game. I don't believe that person equipped their best items. IF somehow those ARE their best items they should just scrap that account and start over. That player will be playing with Legends all the time, and will essentially be a mult. I would not want that player on my team. DM is the ONLY mode that account should be playing.

It does sound ridiculous. Picture a wasp + Defender drone + (emp immunity + heavy-weight) augments. Good luck stopping them from capping a flag or scoring a goal. Buyers are more likely to have more options. So another pay-to-win layer added to the onion.

"equally strong equipment" does not = "format" battles. Just means even, or fair battles. Not much of that going on these days. Like when a fast-loading crisis-hopper caps a flag before the defenders have loaded into the game...

Better the protections the fewer the deaths - kind of important in TDM. Requirement for what? For a Legend player those are weak modules. Makes you more vulnerable in modes like TDM where getting kills is important, but not dying often is also important.

Yikes. Are you playing just for daily/weekly missions? And only buy during sales. You may need to concentrate on just one combo until you reach a rank that levels more slowly.

It is ALSO due to the poor implementation of MM wrt rank-spreads. Players will leave battles when they see enemies 8 ranks above them. So now a team has fewer players and will be at a disadvantage. So what if waiting times are a little longer. If players can't wait for a fair and decent battle, the game is better off without them. I'd rather lose those players than the lower ranks that leave because they are getting stomped due to MM. MatchMaker is broken and is one of the biggest issues with TO.

Like I said - you are better of attacking. Damage per second is >> healing per second.

They nerfed the healing for Isida because it was "too easy"... You might as well just attack with it. It heals so slowly.

Heal a tank and gain score. Whenever you release the space-bar while healing, score is added to your total. Somewhere around 12pts for a fully healed tank. Used to be if the tank you were healing died before you released spacebar, your score was not counted. Don't recall if they fixed that.

4400? What??? ???? I had that GS at 3rd Lt. What are you spending your crystals on? (but I do agree Brigadiers should not be facing Legends)

Ricco's ammo management far outweighs twins slower projectile. Many twins players literally just hold down the space-bar the entire battle. As soon as they spawn it's tweep-tweep-tweep-tweep-tweep... They spam the battle-field with plasma making the slower projectiles less of a handicap. I've had players on my own team pinging me with that ridiculous impact cause they are too lazy to take thumb off the space-bar. IMO ricco requires a LOT more skill to use than twins does.

They are usually dragging my team down and we lose badly. They die a lot more quickly in TDM without protection - especially on smaller maps like Red Alert.

Well, lately the game sux. I keep getting mults on my team. Legends going into TDM with no protection modules... or a GS = 4000 Or placed on Archipalego. Seriously - that's the worst map ever. Not sure who to slap harder - the one who designed it. Or the one who approved it.

Competition was pretty weak. I mean, look at those GS scores... wow.

Another CTF battle - Iran - where a Hopper with Crisis capped first flag before defenders finished loading. It capped all 5 flags in the 5-0. There is NO defending this Hull. You don't see wasps+Crisis or hornets+crisis doing all the capping. It's Hopper.

Maybe part of a group, as that rank-spread does not happen in MM. Only ever saw that during the "beta testing" of MM, when they basically did not have rank-limits.
