  1. Well, most players can't kill it - mainly because it can avoid many of the defenses. Which comes to the complaints about it being OP... or did you not understand that?

    Aren't the 50% sales for non-buyers too? And I'm 100% fine with no extra goldboxes. Just play the game instead of watching the skies for boxes to fall.

    I meant LCR or Scout. Much better than stock. OP in some ways. And they are the major reason you see a lot of Rail modules. Players have a reason for using up one of only 3 slots for Rail protection.

    Are you using an augment as described above? And don't discount the impact. it affects combat a lot, causing many missed shots (or even poor driving).

    Shaft arcade? You have to be really close. They nerfed the ranges for arcade damage. And maybe your target has the Defender drone that absorbs a ton of damage.

    Sick and tire of the players on my team that come into battles with no modules, or a GS ~ 1/2 of the average GS of everyone else. They are just mults as far as I'm concerned and I won't tolerate it. I now exit all battles where I see that.

    Hornet needed a nerf. it was way, way too potent, and was this way for years. Lots of buyers running around with hornet equipped with maxed Defender, and could only be stopped by another hornet. You think that seems fair?

    If it was as unplayable as you suggest, there would be fewer of them in battles. Now that hornet has been (personally) nerfed there are not quite as many. But some have just switched hulls. See more on Vikings now.
  11. I get annoyed at the campers that have complete tunnel vision. I see shafts that are in their own little world, scoping for a distant kill as the flag stealer drives right by them and eventually caps. Then there's the battles, such as Siege, where 5 team-mates decide to camp in our base, expecting the other three to keep dying for the team. Of course the other team shuts us out because they have more Titans and Hunters at the cap point. Of course there's a need for some campers. But many of them selfishly take it to the extreme - like the shaft Titan that is in a corner of the map and only uses the dome as personal protection to pad their K/D score.

    If true that's kinda dumb. They should just figure usage based on batteries used.
  14. Post results? Why? It makes complete sense that flag-cappers and Siege cappers get killed a LOT more than they kill. And yet their KD is more than likely low - because they were generating points doing things other than destroying tanks. And also depends on the turret. Turrets like smoky and Vulcan don't have one-shot kill methods but they can damage a lot of tanks. Killing no tanks but damaging a lot of tanks that are killed by others = decent scoring. Has nothing to do with "passable KD ratio". Kill 5 times and die 7 times and you can easily have a better score than a camper who hides in a corner, kills 4 tanks and dies once. Another example is Isidas who actually spend time healing. Can have a KD = 0 but still generate a decent score. Unless you ONLY play TDM, KD means nothing.

    The only hull that should get a retention period is Hunter - since it actually fails to go off if killed during the delay. Every other hull has the OD activated fully the moment it hits "shift". Whether they survive the full duration is another matter. It makes complete sense for wasp not to have a retention period since the bomb stays even if the wasp dies.

    Even without OD, hopper has the highest acceleration in the game (since it has no ground friction). This makes it harder to target if it keeps moving.

    Agree with a lot of your analysis. But I do think you can calculate an average for the top-3 15 times mission. First... winning team. Since there's only two teams, on average that is 50% = 0.5 Second... top-3. Since there are 8 players on a team, on average you have a 3/8 chance = 0.375 Odds of doing this 1 time are 0.5 x 0.375 = 0.1875 So to do it 15 times you need 15/0.1875 = 80 battles

    Not surprised to see Defender at the top there. Every other tank in battles seems to have that equipped.

    Wow. Lots of conditions... Miner does not require many MUs... but... it has limited effect on many battles. Was gonna suggest trooper - but it uses up DA and 7-10 MUs are recommended to make it really useful. But it is awesome on my Titan - often get top 4 when it's equipped.

    Stars? So you think the be-all and end-all of playing is still stars? News for ya - lots of players play to have fun. And having a chance to win is a big part of that. MatchMaker has lots of problems. The rank brackets are often way to wide. You think the Major General is gonna have fun in a battle with lots of Legends? And then there's the lag of loading players into the map that allows one side to cap a flag before defenders have even loaded. Haven't even brought up the OP-of-the-month equipment that the Devs keep introducing...

    Well, he did use the term "Legendary". Hard to tell if that was sarcasm. And... my point still stands. TX might not have closed because it was bad. Could have closed because the two games were too similar. They were not different enough to draw in newer players.

    Two games = half the number of players in each game. it was unsustainable.
