    Was a two week experiment. Was the "Previously" also one of those two weeks?
  2. Most of them are balanced. I'm just not a fan of how much impact they have on the game. It's too much. Players rely on ODs way too much. They are too potent and charged too often. If they were less frequent they'd be used more strategically and I'd have less of a problem with them.

  4. The duration of the AP portion is lowered and target(s) had to be in line of sight. Individually the hornet received a nerf somewhat. But the whole hornet team benefits. Yes. See above. I suspect there will be a few less hornets overall because TO is not truly a team game. So individuals who feel their power has been lowered will switch to something else ... like ... ... HOPPER.
  5. With the shorter battles and ultra-powered OD and Drones, TO has killed any semblance of strategy and team-work. It now has the feeling of everyone for himself in a mosh-pit. That gets boring fast for me.
  6. OR... when your team refuses to help defend you and lets 5 attackers waltz in to ambush you. I've been spawn-killed as the JUG. It's very frustrating...

  9. I don't stay in 3 minute battles. Just like when being placed in Archipelego, I exit immediately.
  10. My point was Hunter arguably does not have an advantage due to it's health when trying to get close to enemies in order to use it's OD. Moderate speed + moderate health is ~ good speed + lower health.
  11. Agreed. Super-Large maps and 7 minute (who's kidding, it's really 6.5) battles don't go well together.
  12. It's not just about how long you survive. It's also how quickly you close the distance to deliver the OD. The light hull with it's much greater speed will take less fire before it hits shift. Look at wasp and the bomb. Whereas the Hunter, because it's slower, will take more shots that eat up it's extra health.

    Yeah - one side will have 6 tanks and the other side 16 tanks. ?
  14. This is TO we're talking about... How does it have less "reaction time"? It might have less health, but's it's also closing the distance much faster than Hunter, taking fewer shots.

    I would not increase the health of tanks at all. Keep it as is. There are issues with TO. MatchMaker is terrible. Needs a giant overhaul. ODs are a huge problem IMO. They are way too powerful and no buffing health by 1.5 will change that. Drones and hull augments are now the P2W meta. They are too powerful and and some, like hull immunities and Gauss EMP ( ? ) are only available to buyers.

    Freeze and Fire and ricco were definitely OP - and that's why there were probably 2x the amount in battles as there were before the "experiment". Not sure what your plans for changing the turret augments are. Support nanobots purposely gives up that damage to play a specific role. And auto-cannon? Lot of people think it's OP - it's better than stock. You must be extremely lucky in that the very frequent criticals are somehow missing you. When I said "strategy" I did not mean team co-operation. I meant build strategy - how to spend the crystals. Light hulls with 3000 health and then add DA onto that would just be to hard to take down before they cap. Especially Hoppers which can avoid a lot of defenses. Assault during the experiment was absolutely ridiculous. I refused to play the defense side in that battle mode because it was truly impossible. I still don't understand how you can advocate for pumping up health by a factor of 1.5 but at the same time campaign for nerfs to protection modules. Those are conflicting ideas and it makes no sense.

    Why double to 16? Why not go to 12 vs 12 first? Good luck getting "top-3 winning team". .5 x .25 = 12.5% chance per battle.

    Damage was not increased. The energy was. And they were OP. Especially compared to anything that did not get a boost. What alterations reduce significantly the damage of certain weapons? And why that, when you advocate nerfing protections? You can't just unilaterally nerf protection modules like that. Millions of crystals have been invested as part of a strategy. And why nerf protections but increase health of everyone? That would benefit players that did not invest in protections and spent their crystals somewhere else. Inversely it punishes module investors. A LOT more players would just quit the game. Your suggestions seem to contradict each other.

    Well, they seem to be leaving every year with only 10k players per day instead of 30k or 40k. Sure the game needs buyers and buyers need an advantage. But the pendulum of P2W has swung so far to that side that F2P tankers are just quitting because the game is not fun anymore. Bells and whistles are just short-term fixes. They only last so long. The game needs more balance or eventually it will be just buyers vs buyers. We all know what happens then.

    Well how exactly would you re-work it and what is "a lot of stuff"? 1.5hp is still too high. The energy based turrets along with turrets like smoky and thunder would have a very difficult time. When health is significantly higher (1.5 is significant) combined with protections, DA and drones it is too difficult to destroy tanks and complete missions. And it also becomes way too easy to cap flags and score goals. My alternate account (rank = commander) has 21k DA, 26k DD, 31k SB, 35k mines, 2193 batteries and 1955 RK. Have not spent a dime.

    Oh we understand perfectly well what you said. And even IF they lowered the chances of getting rare items... it's still random. 1300 to 1800 UCs ? ?? ??? It costs 11,250 TK to get 100 Ultra Containers. To get 1300 containers you'd need 11,250 x 13 = 146,250 TKs. Are you trying to tell us you spent $1,196 for those containers? Even if the deal was 2x as good as it is now it would cost $598. ARE YOU FOR REAL?

    1) It's not my game. 2) You have an outdated OS. You can't expect to keep using that forever. Upgrade or accept you can't play newer games.
