    I've suggested the supply nerf many times in the past and it received thumbs down from many. Not sure I understand why hulls AND turrets would be boosted by 20%. Is that not offsetting? Actually, it will make the high-damage turrets even more potent. Their 20% bonus will be greater than the bonus of light hulls. Medium hulls might break even? And if a defender is caught without DA they might be one-shot more often. Of course heavy hulls will be stronger relative to all the turrets as... 20% on 4000 is greater than 20% on a turret that does 1000 damage.

    I responded to this... "It means that either turrets deal too much damage or hulls are too weak, simple as that, this requires something to be done" ... and it was in the Mad Tanks experiment thread. So if you are not a fan of the 2x health, what do you propose to correct the issue of "hulls being too weak"?

    Is that not what I said in my post? "Well, 5% (max) extra. The example of tank with DA + module will have more defense than tank with Defender and no module."

    I'm assuming the player with the module also has DA, just like the user of Defender does. So DA + module would offer same protection as Defender and no module.

    Apply two items from following list... - Reduce the length/height it can travel on OD - maybe SB has no effect on that part. - remove stun - delay on stun effect like Hunter has - remove the fire damage. Seems random and really not needed. - Reduce area of stun effect and duration of stun - Change the Charging mechanics to be more in line with Titan
  9. So... pretty much like Titan Dome against all other ODs except dictator... That's not really a solution.

    Well, a hopper equipped with DA + 50% module is also very tough to kill. It's the avoiding defenses that is critical. Sometimes the hopper doesn't even need a Defender because it's leaping over walls, mines and also defenders to score a goal or cap a flag in assault. It needs a nerf.

    ? Have you ever tried to kill a tank equipped with a fully upgraded defender drone? Or one equipped with 50% module vs your turret? OR both?

    A light hull that jumps OVER DEFENSES and can cap easily. Which leads to high scoring which leads to fast OD generation which leads to... We all know ODs are positive feedback loops. They help you score which helps you generate more ODs. Hoppers OD generates too quickly and even though you (and others) point out it has low health - the OD it is generating quickly helps it avoid the defenses that are a threat to it's "low health". And then there's drones...

    The "reality" of what's going on in the game? What does that mean? It took over two years to "balance" hornet. If TO waits that long I won't be around when it happens.

    Hopper. They all have DA and likely drones too. And then maybe add a protection module. In the CTF and Rugby battles I have played hopper has scored the majority of caps. It's not even close. Just played a battle on parma - ended up 5-0 as other team had 3 Hoppers and they seemed to have OD ALL the time. They just needed to get close to the base in the lower area and than zap - up over the walls and capped. It is just no fun playing against them in those battles. When the game is not fun, people will leave and find something else to do. Is it worth it to attract mobile users and lose the same amount of established players? TO better hope they can retain those mobile players.

    Not by Marshal. At this point they have developed some skill and many of the real noobs have given up. Either that OR ... for some reason MM decides to place me against decent competition ALL the time. Or maybe your definition of "less than mediocre" is different from mine. Majority of community is AVERAGE - which is basically the definition.

    With thousands of people playing you will have differing opinions on everything. And what would you add to "make the game fun"? Many people think ODs make the game fun while I think they are one of the worst things to happen to TO.

    Why did it take so long to adjust Hornet OD? Complaints were coming in years ago. And... is it going to take that long to adjust Hopper?
  21. You are now being obtuse. I explained exactly how you are being biased in the post before this one. Yes, you have given us YOUR analysis. You make it sound like that is "the last word" on the subject when in fact it is NOT. What evidence can someone give to prove a negative? Defender has already been nerfed by 50% - went from +200% down to +100%. And if any of your analysis is based on past 2 weeks that's a huge fail. Could Defender use some kind of nerf? Possibly. But you did not even offer any solutions. You just stated why YOU don't like it. IMO it should receive a nerf on the cooldowns. It allows DD to be activated very quickly after the DA - and THAT should not be allowed.
