When you really read the information they gave, it's a nerf. No more invincibility means it can be killed. Which means it can be one-shotted while it has the Overdrive active. Wasp's bomb doesn't* deactivate it anymore but it lost its invincibility, which means Wasp's bomb is a big threat even if it has its Overdrive active, and then they removed the impact force negation of the Overdrive. So you're gonna be feeling the impact force of the bomb and the meteor the same was as Titan, possibly flipping you at the right distance and part of certain maps. You're not gonna be able to start a base raid for your team if you can be killed while you have it active going towards the base. Hunter, with the help of its turret, can now become a hard counter to it. This is assuming that no (unspoken) changes are being made and that everything said in the main post is what is happening. I don't see why they can't just let the meteor act like the current Wasp bomb and disable the Overdrive. Maybe it's a technical thing but it sounds straight forward. I trust that they have their reasons for not taking that path.

    Mammoth's overdrive and new update

Stock Striker isn't worth it? How so?

So you can't use anything besides Uranium, is that what you're saying? I use RRE or ML "Hunter" whenever I play Striker. THis change is a buff and a nerf. It can be interpreted as either depending on how you usually play it, similarly to the first Magnum change made. The change caps the maximum projectile speed at 350 m/sec. This is the speed at which the current Missile Launcher "Hunter" missile flies at at M4. So imagine only shooting slower missiles constantly, even with a salvo. Now, here is why it can be considered both a buff and a nerf: It can be considered a nerf if if end up in situations where you can't utilise the alterations upside, as in, direct hits that you can manually aim onto the target. The missiles will travel slower and Stock Striker would destroy the player faster. This slower projectile speed also gives enemies more time to move out of the way. It can be considered a buff if you are mainly using its upside, manual detonation. Because Striker's missiles move so fast, it may be hard to time when to detonate it, given the angle you are at, the obstacles in the way, if the enemy is behind a wall, etc. A slower missile can allow you to more accurately predict when to manually detonate the missile and avoid overshooting. It is similar to the Magnum change because that could have also been considered a buff or a nerf. The intended change for that was a buff, for the players that used it in their base and lobbed shots into the enemy base. They were able to stop it at the correct % velocity more easily to accurately hit targets. It was a nerf if you used it in close-range head-on attacks where a 2-second amplification time would be superior to a 3-second amplification time. See, that's what you think. ;)

I use it for a more relaxed approach. Stock Vulcan is where I play more aggressively.

Tanki Video of the Day - Have any?

Not sure if you do this all the time but concerning the way you utilised your Booster Drone, you effectively wasted it. Wait until your missile are already heading towards the Juggernaut and then use double damage.

Well, 1,050 isn't 110% of 1,000, but ok. Progress is being made nonetheless. Now it's just the RU and DE Wikis to update it now. Huh, look at that, the PL Wiki has it at 50%.

    Mammoth's overdrive and new update

The fact that it's not invincible anymore makes it far from OP. We'll have to wait and see exactly how it plays out, but by how they worded the change, turrets can damage it like any other hull, and Wasp would be able to kill it anyway if the Mammoth can't get out in time. There was no mention of damage protection like Titan's dome.

That is M3. And meanwhile, this guy just barely scraped away with 3 stars.

    Mammoth's overdrive and new update

Well Titans didn't have much of a chance for catching it since Mammoth's Overdrive ignores Titan's dome. It would be kind of unfair for heavy hulls having to sit back and not be able to catch any golds because they're too slow to get to the marker fast enough before the Hornet, Wasps and Vikings get to it.

    Mammoth's overdrive and new update

Mammoth's Overdrive already takes away freezing and afterburn though. Physical impact nerf would be something to get used to. Kind of sucks that Wasp's bomb won't deactivate it anymore. Unless their intention is to allow the bomb to kill it while the Overdrive is active, since it's no longer invincible. Overall, that sounds like a nerf to its survivability. Sounds like it could still be one-shotted by a Shaft, Railgun, Magnum or Gauss while it has it activated. Wasp's bomb doesn't deactivate it but it sure sounds like it'll kill it anyway. Let's see how happier people are with this. Hmm, let's see how Hunter performs. Cyclone would be a bit better. Uranium will now need to focus on one-by-one shots. I guess Remote Rocket Explosives didn't have enough of a drawback. Very nice for Reinforced Aiming Transmission. Wasp Vulcan will now be better to play with with driving facing towards the enemy. But that change to SSR jumps it closer to Stock Vulcan's damage. Idk, it feels like that damage decrease shouldn't be that low for what it can do. I wonder if @wolverine848 will give it a try now. 3x is a lot. That's being frozen in 1 second or maybe even 3 ticks. But that's just the hull. Turrets should still have a chance to fight against it.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

That was the first time I went into scope. Something similar (that I promised but never showed you guys) on the real server. It was a sign that I was going to get an error soon.

A while ago, @wolverine848 and I were saying that Incendiary Mix's damage increase for Firebird's direct damage was +50%, and not +10% like you had on the Wiki for a while now. Even after image proof of it being 50%, (correct me if I'm wrong), you or someone else had said that y'all had some sort of spreadsheet with numbers that are updated by the developers. When the developers change the numbers, it's basically a "green light" to change the numbers on the Wiki. Whoever it was that said this said that it would be updated when they see a change in the numbers, which seems like it never happened. Every time I'm being shot at by an Incendiary Mix Firebird, I think back to what we're discussing here.

We're sightseers now. True scouts with the binoculars and everything.
  18. Better question is what's up with these Legends using M0/1/2 equipment? I had more but can't find them. Those include a guy at Legend using M3 Autocannon Smoky and M2 Hornet. Many others with M1 Viking, and Tores, whom you can find in another thread.
  19. I was wondering where you went. You had just disappeared from Tanki: Picture of the Day.

Protection stays the same, at 85%. Multiple domes do not affect the % protection, only the healing rate. Mammoth's Overdrive ignores the dome's protection.

    Halloween 2019

So you've chosen death for them? I assume the meteor is exactly the same as Wasp's bomb and has the same damage. 9999/2 = ~5,000. Only Titan would survive it because its dome already gives 85% protection against it.

    Let's Discuss Thunder!

How are you liking it since you bought it?

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

This is intended. The damage of afterburn is fixed at 300/sec. With double armour, that is reduced to 150/sec. Double damage does not affect the afterburn damage. Only double armour does. So tankhd.jr, your double damage will only increase the damage of your Smoky shots, not the afterburn. The same is with Firebird and all Incendiary turret alterations. Double damage does not affect the tick damage. Only double armour does.

    Gear Score

He wasn't easy to kill, no. 6,000 would be M3 turret and hull. Then you have to factor in his M2 protection and his alteration. My closest combo to 5,400 GS is M2.4 Gauss, M2.4 Dictator, three 19% protection modules, and a 4/20 Driver drone. I don't even have an alteration so that's 99 less GS. So really, I can't tell which GS shows max M2 turret and hull factoring in protections.

    Ideas for Hulls and Overdrives!

Overdrive recharge time from 0-100%: Wasp: 100 seconds Hornet: 115 seconds Hunter: 115 seconds Dictator: 145 seconds Mammoth: 145 seconds Titan: 170 seconds Viking: 260 seconds You see, if you put it so that all Overdrive swill charge around the same time, then it'll make ones like Wasp's Overdrive less useful and ones like Viking being top tier. There are reasons some recharge fast and others don't. And if you put all of them at the same recharge time, you'd see more imbalance. I really don't know what would be done about this. At the moment, the system seems set up to complement MM battles. Maybe their intention was to fill every battle with them to produce new tactics but did the opposite?
