This day calls for a good meme. Anime intro: *Multiple pictures of Mammoths fighting for gold boxes and Viking-overdriven Railgun and Magnums shots all over the map* Anime outro: *Multiple pictures of players relaxing and enjoying PRO battles*

What's scary about it is the uncertainty. You don't know where it will be so you don't know if you're safe or not. Fitting given the celebration happening.

Team was effectively carried. Started off as a 7 v 5, but then two people on my team left, making it 7 v 3. And it stayed like that for maybe a minute and a half. At that time, I was just racking kills on 2 Wasps they had and a VIking. They all weren't using double armour. Soon, more people started joining our team and we made out with victory. Also this:
-
Excuse me?! I may have missed this if someone said it months ago, but Viking's Overdrive affects mines as well?

Most score in SJR. (may be updated with a higher score soon)

I've never mained Ricochet before, and these Ricochets I'm encountering at are quite strong. So I bought M2 Ricochet on my account to see how powerful this thing is in DM. I'll be using it when it's 3/10. Trying it out now. For anyone who has M2 Ricochet around that rank, how is it? I'm planning on using it with Dictator.
-
Ooo, this sounds interesting. Although it may favour the stronger team because they'll charge their Overdrives faster. A player on the weaker team could spawn before the others and cap a flag for their team whilst the enemies are respawning, which makes the current system technically more "weak" friendly.

I'm trying to find a soft spot for Viking by solely using that on one of my accounts instead of Hornet or Dictator. Sometimes I get ragdolled, sometimes I don't. But I've been using Viking + Vulcan to Mammoth hunt and I like that you can have two types of gameplay with Vulcan. Slippery gameplay with Hornet and Viking and rooted-to-the-ground gameplay with Wasp, Dictator and the heavy hulls. Because of how smooth the drifting is on Viking, I can glide through the map whilst turning and keeping my train of bullets on them and it's kind of fun but more risky than rooted-to-the-ground gameplay, as one good Railgun or Gauss shot can see you turning 180 degrees. I'll probably record something to show. I'd still much rather use Hunter but I'll ride out with Viking during and outside the event to get a proper feel of it.

There was another battle where I was up top and every single enemy were Mammoths and they were slowly making their way to the middle and it looked like this:
-
5-container opening: 3,500x Crystals x 2 125x Speed Boosts 50 Batteries 25,000x Crystals
-
Mammoth's Overdrive ignores all impact force as well as damage. So the missile/meteorite explosion and Juggernaut's Overdrive do not affect them, unlike Titan in its dome.
-
What do you mean by useless? Useless for what? Catching golds? Yeah. Getting on the top of the scoreboard? No.
-
Was doing that on this account. Only 3 of my 5 accounts can really benefit from this mode.
-
Someone said in the chat that they "rigged" it because of the many Nuclear Supply drop boxes available. I saw it also does the opposite, where it somewhat curbs the Mammoth party. I've been using it with Viking to just blast away random people and I can usually refill it with a drop box once every 2 spawns on average. And if you want to blame the Mammoth buff for contributing, well, you can't really do that. For they get their Overdrives from the boxes. I expected this. I'm more focused on killing enemies than catching golds tbh. The way this map and mode was set up, it's definitely pandering to the moshpit mentality. And I have to say, it's fun.
-
And then there is me with Hornet + HC to snipe random heavy hulls. It's not as action-packed as the other things I've done but it's somewhat rewarding. Somewhat, because of the abundance of them. If there were small numbers of them, I'd feel better.
-
There are a BUTT LOAD of nuclear supply drops in that map, which is just a reskinned Yorkshire. Even if it's reskinned, it still looks fantastic. First game with Gauss. Prepare for Overdrives galore.

I couldn't find the thread I was looking for, so I'll post it here. Before the balance change, I had been having...undesirable MM battles, to the point where it felt like a personal attack deterring to continue. Decided to relax a bit, stop playing hardcore and just have genuine fun. Hmm, what could I have fun with? Oh, I can try Assault Rounds again. Do I have Assault Rounds? *Remembers the topic I made* Oh right, I do. Knowing that my battles are usually filled with Viking, it'd be perfect. The one time I actually want many Vikings on the enemy team. So yeah the 2 battles had many Vikings in it. So I should have been satisfied and had fun right? Wrong. You see, I downgraded my damage to get more impact force, to have fun against these Vikings. Behold, most of the VIkings I shot at acted as if they had received no impact force at all. Some of those showed signs of it for less than half a second then went back to normal, basically shrugging it off as if it never happened. The others, showed absolutely 0 signs of receiving impact force. Like this guy here: I shot the absolute side of his Viking and only on one of those shots, did his Viking slightly went to the left and one of his projectile deviated from its brethrens, but he immediately went back into place. I tried so hard in that situation to keep my aim on its far sides. The guy was standing still which helped with the aiming, but it obviously didn't help with throwing off its aim. That was the 2nd battle. The first battle was in a Cross CTF. And what did I see? I saw what was SUPPOSED to happen, in 2 of the 3 Vikings they had. Firstly, a Viking Freeze. My first few shots seemed to not faze it much. So while it was driving on the centre bridge, I waited, and waited, until I hit ti far corner of the hull and made him do a straight 90-degree turn off of the bridge and into the building where he flipped. The next was a Viking Gauss. This was the one I toyed with the most, and a prime example of what should've been happening to every Viking I faced. We're at the ramp on the right side of the bridge, where I was blocking them from coming up to the middle. The Viking Gauss was there and shooting me. All but one of the shots I shot had a very noticeable impact force on him, where I made him miss a lot of shots on me because of that. That's Viking, but what about Hornet? I can't defend myself against a Stock Smoky's impact force, so an Assault Rounds Smoky must do wonders to them, but no. A Shaft Hornet kept coming into our base and stealing or flag. I kept shooting him at the back and the Hornet is just shrugging it off as if it was only damage that happened to it. There was an XP player in there that was receiving full impact force and I made him miss two shots because of that. I wonder why it didn't happen to that Hornet Shaft. Because of that, he was able to get away with a flag and we drew 2-2. I really don't know why this is happening with these Vikings. Are they using some sort of hack? Whatever it is, it's nullifying a major disadvantage Viking has over Hunter and Dictator, effectively making them better. On a brighter note: The Legend himself was in that Cross battle. They couldn't have done it without him.
-
No wonder we were doing so badly. It's funny how both of them are 0-14.
-
Oh my gosh, being an attack Isida in a small map is so rewarding. Can't believe I've been missing out on this for so long. Feels good to be dealing damage higher than 250 per tick.
-
I think if you're playing with Viking, you'd be aware of enemy Hunters and Wasps using more Overdrives than yourself...in consecutive battles...day in day out. That's what I'd like to know too. As it was popular before, maybe they got used to the slipperiness and lightweight gameplay. I'm trying Viking on another account and I don't really mind the slow recharge as if I get 10 kills and a minute pases, I'll have my Overdrive ready. Which seems easy enough with Gauss. First few battles with it weren't so bad when facing enemies, but I felt that ragdoll feeling in the latter battles. I also have another issue with enemy Vikings which I'll post later. Perhaps they are used to it and don't mind it.
-
Huh? You saw this in the Test Server, right? Perhaps they are testing something about it, but it should be giving 20 seconds of reinforced armour and not 10. The Drone itself has a recharge time of 20 seconds. So when that recharges, it's an indicator that the power-up for your double armour is gone. And for one of the 20/20 Defender Drone users I encountered, it was more than 10 seconds. Because I had been continuously shooting him for more than 10 seconds and it was still giving the increased armour.
-
At least it still has its high damage. You'd go about your life normally if the Freezes you encounter stand stationary in front of you when firing at you. The Freezes that circle their enemies must semi-circle strafe now for the most efficiency. If a long range turret doesn't have much problems turning their turret against them, then melee turrets have free reign to destroy that Freeze. As long as the Freeze is able to pump out damage quickly enough, it should be good, but they can't rely on circling the enemies anymore (unless said enemy never turns their turret at all). They'll probably change it again in a few days.

These are correct, although I kept getting closer to 260 seconds for Viking. What hulls are you using to record this? Remember, Wasp, Dictator and mammoth receive 20% more charge for those actions than Hornet, Hunter, Viking and Titan. I get 10% for returning the flag as Dictator, 50% for capturing a CTF flag and scoring a touchdown, and around 35% for capturing an ASL flag. I think I get 7-8% for neutralising a point and 10% for capturing it. I haven't looked too in-depth about flag and touchdown assists, but I think I saw that I got 20% for that as Dictator. Play as Wasp, Dictator or Mammoth, and whatever % charge you get for specific actions, multiply it by 80% to get what the other 4 hulls would receive for that action.
