Wow...does no one pay any attention? This is the 4th time I've posted this. It's the 3rd time I've asked for some sort of moderator acknowledgement. The problem still exists. It's been almost three weeks. It's easy to fix. Could you PLEASE pass this on to the devs to address and maybe respond this post with and OK, or done, or you're annoying, anything to let me know that you are aware of the problem and are passing it on to the people that need to be apprised of the situation??????????????

Could some moderator acknowledge this re-re-post. I' like to know if you are letting the people that would be fixing this know about this situation. As I have said several times already this has got to be an easy fix...why let it go on for weeks and weeks?

I understand that Hazel is an employee that is doing his job. I did in fact mention that he has probably increased Tanki's bottom line (which is probably why he is held in high esteem), but, I believe that the course of action that was set in motion is a short term cash influx but the eventual destruction of the golden goose. That is pretty much bad business. It is a shame that Tanki has been so corrupted...there were more player friendly ways to increase revenue. Tanki will continue on it's downward spiral as long as Hazel is at the helm. Tanki will continue the buff/nerf cycle on all equipment regardless of how it was portrayed when sold to the purchaser...this lacks integrity at best and is downright dishonest at worst (legal, but unethical). This forum has thousands of posts condemning MM and all the ancillary updates to accommodate MM but it is just gas in the wind...Tanki will do as Tanki will do. I think that if Hazel were removed from the driver seat (I also mentioned he could be demoted and that doesn't even mean a pay cut necessarily) Tanki might well start to revive itself. For one thing Hazel has completely ignored organic growth...that is, in most businesses, ludicrous. My take is that the money people feel Tanki is a throw away and they have let the current administration run with whatever. That specific "whatever" has paid off monetarily at the expense of a huge player base. The money people are happy because of immediate gains as opposed to what I see as potential long term gains...and of course a very selfish desire to have a fun game to play as opposed to consistent irritation at constant upheaval through toxic update after toxic update (churn). So yeah, I'd love to see Hazel get a pink slip...or at least taken out of control. My bet is he could easily parlay three years of revenue growth at Tanki into another, maybe even more lucrative, gig. He has consistently messed up my favorite game for years...so dump him and try someone else. Tanki doesn't much care about their player base, why should we care about their employee's jobs? ...especially when those jobs directly impact us, the end users of Tanki.

I think they went too far with Titan's OD. ...like they always do, they over react and go too far. It would have been better to nerf the domes ability to heal teammates but let it still heal the Titan that activated it. The lack of healing Teamies and the ability of another Titan to cancel out a dome is enough of a nerf. It's just annoying that this nerf was done to all modes for basically a trash Siege mode.

Tanki used to be a great game and several hundred thousand people thought the same thing since they played it all the time. Before the money-grab started there were 130,000 players on at peak times! Then Hazel_Rah came to the forefront of the picture and most likely increased Tanki's revenues dramatically but at the expense of good game-play. They win, we lose. With the penchant for optimum tortured spin Tanki spun the story of MatchMaking and a couple of years later the player sheep bleat the same party line. MatchMaking is what broke Tanki's back...you can see it in the decline of players that coincides with the advent of MM. The blatant money-grab mechanics like drones, alts, and even ODs (right now there are a lot of Titan players MUing their Dictator) brought the game down even further...oh yeah, and let's not forget the forced tripling of in-game MM time to complete missions (That is one of the reasons Pro is so lame...who wants to play after spending so much time grinding missions) So while we are wishing that specific parts of Tanki would go away, probably Tanki's biggest problem (for the players at least) is Hazel Rah. I really wish Tanki would get off the "bleed 'em dry" bandwagon and fire or demote Hazel...they gotta need someone to empty the trash and clean the toilet. ?

Dictators are almost always the top scores today. If you have a decent kill/score rate, Dic will give you a big advantage for the top score slots since you might get three or even four ODs per battle...pick up a nuke box and you are golden. Say three ODs an a lucky nuke box pick up and you give each OD to two teammates...200 extra score on top of the normal decent score...you gotta come out on top. I don't think anyone at Tanki thinks these things out. Killing Titan's OD just to patch up worthless Siege mode is another example. My guess is that they will lower the OD bonus from 25 to maybe 10 (which will not motivate many Dics to share their OD). Here's the PERFECT solution: Get rid of the damn ODs altogether. And the drones And alterations And while I'm wishing away toxic mechanics...get rid of the biggest toxic offense; MatchMaking

Wow, I really picked the wrong pony in this two pony horse race. I buy Titan and they nerf it into garbage two days later...so very Tanki. At least I only put three MUs into the now pointless hull. And, I'm right back to where I was with no hope or help of getting through the next couple of ranks...and for this futility I'm only just a little over 61000 crystals poorer. F the high ranks, it's back to new account to Warrant 1 then new account to Warrant 1 then new account to Warrant 1 ad infinitum until Tanki goes belly up.

It is just shocking that Tanki can do so much damage to equipment that you bought for a specific purpose...how can they sell something with "X" attributes, then take that attribute away at a later date? Astounding gall. I'm sick to death of buying something, investing to get it upgraded just to have it nerfed into garbage. Now I'm stuck with an M2 Titan that I just bought during the sale when It still had it's healing OD...the next day Tanki nerfs into trash. And, my guess is the motivation for the nerf is a band-aid for the worthless Siege mode. I really really dislike the way Tanki does business, dishonest, lying, opportunistic, smarmy, spin doctors that lack any amount of integrity. It is certainly no mystery why Tanki has lost more than100,000 players in the last few years.

I play in the lower ranks all the time since they are more like what Tanki used to be before all the dog and pony show alts/drones etc. Honestly early access to M1 kits (upgradable to M2) is not the problem for the actual newbies. The real problem for the actual beginner is that 99.999% of all the players in the low ranks are veteran players that are playing on an alt account for one reason or the other. A real newbie that is learning to control his tank doesn't stand a chance against a guy like me that has been at this for years. The kits don't make game-play any where near as toxic as game-play in the higher ranks and the conditions in the lower ranks probably motivate the actual newbies (the ones that don't just go back to Fortnite) to spend money and buy that vicious Keeper or Hammer of Thor.

acknowledgement Still happening. It's got to be a fairly easy fix since there is already a mechanic in place that precludes low ranks from getting RGB, ASL, or TJG missions. Why not just add Siege to the list of omissions? Or better yet, just unlock Siege to all ranks...easy.

There is one more turn, but the distributor paint is gone from the shop. Too bad, I just got an alt account to the point where it had 10 crystals and I was going to mine at least 40 or 50 stars for the three containers...but no paint. ...Thus go the best laid plans

Since Siege Mode was released, Daily Missions for low ranked players have been showing up in Siege Mode. The problem with this is that you must be at least Rank 6 to join a Siege Battle. In other words it is impossible to complete a Siege Mission if you are rank 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. This could be a very easy fix by unlocking Siege at Rank 2. Or, you could fix the problem within the mission system and stop giving Siege missions to ranks that aren't advanced enough to enter them. Thanks for your time and Merry Christmas!

Thanks for an insightful response. For my 1st M3 kit, I was planning on buying Prometheus for Firebird and Module...the Hunter is just frosting for later MUs. Stormbringer may now be my first M3 kit upon your recommendation. Sadly, I already bought the M2 Titan just before your post...I hope it will make life easier for the next couple of ranks. I wish I had waited a few more minutes, read your post, an picked up the Dictator instead...oh well...I'll see how the Titan goes. By M3 time I will now have the Titan, and with Stormbringer, a Dictator as well as my Viking. Freeze, Twins, and Vulcan (with Stormbringer) would be my turrets. I can probably live without Firebird since Freeze is similar. Now the question becomes which combo to bring to M4 first...but I have plenty of time to consider that ?

I play on the Latin servers and figured this was going to happen. Matchmaking ruined the whole Latin game. Previously there were over 10,000 players at peak times. Before MM you could easily get into a low population game for three or four hours around restart. MM stopped that since you had to have at least 16 players for a battle. It became almost impossible to complete missions other than at the very peak few hours. More and more players started quitting since they couldn't get into battles to complete missions. In a very short time you couldn't get into any kind of battle a few hours around restart. Then Tanki made missions harder. It became almost impossible to complete a mission...at the very least it took three times as long as it would on the EN servers. More players left since MM wouldn't let anyone into a battle without a very long wait and now there are only about 450 players on at the peak time. The really sad part of this is it was a very active happy and fun community....people didn't get tired of Tanki, they got tired and frustrated for waiting to play Tanki. I now see this starting to happen with the EN servers. It is getting more difficult to enter a game a few hours around restart. There are not enough players online to fill all the mission modes. At least DM is out of the picture. That is helpful. Anyway, thanks for the tip. I guess my Spanish and one Brazilian acct are now just exotically named EN accts...no more Spanish practice.

I'm going to try my more advanced account again. I'm a Brigadier (one star - level 23) and use M2 Freeze MU10 and M2 Twins MU10 (with the no splash damage alt). I have n M2 Viking MU10 but I find it almost useless. It gets knocked around worse than a Wasp and makes Twins almost useless when going up against M4 equipment (which is almost all the time) I use Dictator in my lower alt accts and enjoy the OD. I tend to use it with Smoky or Firebird and it does well for me. I've done OK with Titan and Smoky in lower accts also but prefer the Dictator since the Titan is so slow. I have enough crystals to buy some sort of M3 kit and MU it to M4 asap but I need to get through two more horrible ranks (all battles are my M2s vs M3 and M4). Should I buy a Dictator or Titan? I will MU10 either one asap, so eventually it will be used in my future M3 garage. What is going to help me though the pain of two more long ranks? ...Titan's "ya can't kill me now" dome or Dictator's repair and full drugs? I hope I can get a quick answer since I will buy one or the other in an hour or so.

OK...no worries...it's back. What I meant by "down" was that the login page was not appearing. Only the background wallpaper would load and would not advance to the login dialog box that you posted a picture of. My fear was that Tanki put an end to flash, but that fear was unfounded since, had I waited another few minutes in addition to the hour and a half or so of the site being "down", I would have seen the friendly login page beaming its inviting dialog box at me once again. So now the flash version is "up" again because you can log in as opposed to being "down" where you can not log in

So far I have enjoyed playing it. I have been lucky and had a good mix of hulls/ODs but I could see where Titans could overpower this mode. Viking's OD is very good for breaking up the group controlling the point...makes me like Viking again ? If everyone on the team makes an effort to stay at the point and not wander, it is fun. I have not seen two completely commuted teams yet...that might be a real mess. So far all the battles I've played have been blow outs...all points on one side or the other. The only real downside I see to this mode is more dilution of the player pool at any given time which will force MM to widen rank brackets in all modes and increase wait times in the off hours. Right now it is very hard to enter a Rugby or ASL battle for a few hours around restart time. Siege will just make this worse. Since MM will be forced to widen rank brackets to fill battles, battles in all modes will become more difficult (at least for me since I ALWAYS seem to be the lowest ranked player in every battle).

Why oh why does Tanki feel they need to spin their edicts with such ridiculous rationalizations. It's insulting guys. It's also as annoying as hell.

I think the days of teamwork are pretty much over. Tanki has become a reactionary type of game as opposed to previously being a strategy game. Everything Tanki has done to the game makes it less team oriented and more like Space Invaders. Even the battle fund is pretty meaningless in MM battles...win or lose, it's all about the stars and daily missions. Previously knowing how to handle your turret/hull would determine your standing in the leader board. Now it is mostly who bought the best equipment and luck. Skill plays a minor roll now...it gives you a slight edge, but it's not the main factor anymore. The whole star system encourages selfish based play as opposed to teamwork. I drive Dictators solely because of its OD. I rarely use the OD for the team because it may advance my own teammates to a higher score than me which might possibly edge me out of a star or two. What is the motivation to help the team? Battle funds are certainly no motivation. The social factor is gone from Tanki so you make no new friends if you help your team or ignore your team. Sharing Dictators OD can only cost you stars in Neo-Tanki.

It is amazing to me that so many players have no idea where to defend and probably not a much idea on where to attack. So many wasted stars defending territories that can't be attacked by anyone. Below are just the Capitals which are all three untouchable today in turn 5. Elves 9597 Snowmen 11509 Santas 10695 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Also,for the next War of this nature, I think it would be helpful to see the map history from each turn instead of just a daily update. It would be easier and more intuitive to just look at what happened the previous day instead of the current worded system that is very difficult to envision. Plus the interactive part of the map is really fluky and doesn't work most of the time. If each days ending map were available, it would be much much easier to see and strategize. It would be cool to see the worlds war progression as an overlay type of map with links to each past turn. On Firefox, Santas can't see about three or maybe four of their most northern territories. "Info" and "Map" are blocking the map significantly.
