    This just made my whole day! That being said...idk if we want more heavy hulls lumbering around. Of course I don't want another medium hull, but perhaps another fast tactical hull might offer some diverse gameplay. I suppose we will see

    Can someone explain when thunder is useful? When I use it, it just feels slow but not powerful enough to make up for that and the splash isnt useful that often. Thoughts? Is it defense/offense, sniping?

    You dont want shaft to be too good or battles will end up with tons of campers. Camping shafts dont really add much to their team bsides annoying the enemy. As it is, Ive seen some really good shaft players who move around a lot
  4. Mult can have many meanings. I use mult to describe those who have 1 kill and 12 deaths in TDM for example whether they have multiple qccounts or not lol. Still not sure if those ppl do it intentionally, have bad internet, or just are bad players

    Duplett. Fires 2 shots, each 1900-2100 damage with DD. Figure it takes 2 shots to kill a naked hornet, so 4 to kill a naked heavy. With DD that makes 1 shot on light and 2 for heavy, with duplett doing those 2 shots instantly. So sorry, when I say 1 shot I mean 1 duplett round...technically 2 shots

    No drone. DD plus overdrive. Doesn't always 1-shot, but most times it does. Sometimes I'm noob and I miss, but point blank itl take care of business

  8. Great idea. Doing something like this might allow people to cast games, which might bring an older population into it, who enjoy the competitive aspect.

    Hornets overdrive is amazing. Ive been using it with hammer and omgosh its so fun. When i ise overdrive I can one shot heavy hulls with double armor and protection. I wish more ppl would get off of heavy hulls and join the fun that is hornet. Its great

  12. If its rail viking vs isida hornet then probably rail will win yes. Otherwise isida will win with viking

    Last time we talked about this, I wanted to try it out myself. I figured ppl say this a lot so it must be true. Switched to viking freeze and...idk why I'd ever play with Hunter. The weight thing really only is a problem if you are using a medium range turret like smoky or railgun. With close range turrets it is insane

    Listen to this guy. I've seen him playing very well with wasp and short range turrets like in Xstriker's screenshot. If you play fire/wasp, you must drug a lot. You are playing a weak hull so if you go toe-to-toe with vikings and titans, you will die a lot. Rather use your speed to pick which battles you will engage in. Do not let them engage you. You find an opponent to hit, and hit them full speed. Burn and run. If they dont die, no worries, you escaped and can get the next one

    About ramming...some twins players charge right up to me and hit me...it is really frustrating lol and effective. Is that a main twins strategy?

    Call me impressed you noticed. Its not really fair nor correct for me to leave it off. Ive seen some twins players who have no idea what theyre doing and some who absolutely dominate. The same goes for all turrets. Compare a shaft camper to someone playing shaft wasp like Maf who can attack all game and end with a kd of 3. I mostly play freeze/hornet, but when I run into freeze vikings, I should get trashed nut they mostly cant circle strafe and charge right at me. Any turret being used by someone who knows what theyre doing will become immensly stronger. Striker is a great example too. Ive seen some terrible striker players...Im one. But golly, a clan mate who always plays with striker always is in first or second. The difference in skill in tanki makes a huge difference with all turrets.

    The biggest advantage with the faster hulls is that you get to pick your battles. Ive tried titan but always stop after a while bc I cant pick who I want to fight. I fight whoever is in my way. With hornet/wasp, you get to roam until you want to strike. As a freeze/hammer hornet player lately, if I see a freeze/hammer with viking, I always run and stay away...at least until their drug run out and then I strike

  20. I used to not like wasps Od but I do now. I think its fine. It still doesnt compare equally to viking, hunter, or really any others but it can be used effectively. I think its good to give hulls like wasp a good ability. Currently I very rarely see light hulls being used. Hornet sees more than it used to, thanks to its cool OD but was still sees very little play from what Ive seen. Games with light hulls are much more exciting and skill imtensive tham slow, campy, grindfests with heavy hulls.

    Why do ppl always say hornet is trash? You are never supposed to take on heavier hulls head on with hornet/wasp. With hammer for example, you can cover a lot of ground quickly and get a ton of firepower on the enemy. When I play freeze with hornet, I try to never engage a bunch of enemies from the front, but will rather try to get around behind them. Now with the overdrive, an ambushing hornet player can clear out a bunch of heavier hulls very quickly.

    Hornet's overdrive is great! It allows hornet to be usable in drug battles. You see a bunch of players hiding underneath Titan's dome? Pop overdrive and go kill them. I would argue that you want light hull overdrives to be good so ppl use fewer campy combos and more aggressive ones that lead to more exciting gameplay
  23. Stop with bringing ideas for campy turrets lol. This would be fun....lots of ppl hiding a firing guided missiles around the map. Midrange turrets offer the most varied gameplay since they work at distance but require movement to be good

    I agree that a new hull isnt needed. Currently the hulls fills any strategy type you might want. How is a hovering hull something that does something different? The appeal to TO is not weird combos, but rather the ability to perfect any strategy in battle that you want.
