    But you still have to use slower rounds in order to get critical damage I switched to Assault Rounds as default because I didn't think losing the old critical hit was that bad when you get much faster projectiles and nearly instant hits (and more impact force), like old Smoky But losing the new critical hits is worse, especially because they beat Dolphin modules, so it's back to stock maybe I think Assault Rounds should get criticals back, but only the ability to beat Dolphin modules instead of extra damage

    @TheRealHZFJ I think we need to talk about gamblers and buyers instead of just buyers now During the last three years and over 1500 hours spread across four accounts, I have spent some money on TK. But it's less than 5 cents per hour played. I can't afford to gamble by buying UCs, and I won't.

  4. I've often defeated Vikings by holding my nerve and activating the Juggernaut's OD at the right time. It's quite satisfying when you know that the Viking has wasted its and OD and was expecting an easy kill. I also play run'n'gun with the Juggernaut and drive around the map targeting Vikings first, but not recklessly. Being on a team with a camping Juggernaut that doesn't utilize the Juggernaut's speed advantage can be annoying. Viking's OD just doesn't frighten me that much. It's more of an annoyance than a rage-inducing thing like Hopper's OD, where equipping one immunity just means that you'll get killed by not having any immunity to the other effect. But back on topic, I'm getting more fed up with the game, especially the frequency of disruptive updates. My first account is about to get to Marshall and I'll probably play a lot less when I can buy any Mk7 equipment.

  6. Don't be impatient about rewards; you'll get them eventually GG Revenge I'm not an expert on competitive TO, but I did wonder why anyone was using Shaft (edit: just got my containers on one of my accounts, haven't checked the others)

    Gear Score system VS V&R system

    Never thought I'd say this, but I prefer the GS system. Knowing how GS is calculated becomes easy after playing for long enough, and I can check someone's profile to see if they are using the same Mk Hull & Turret or different Mks. The only problem with GS is the low numbers for augments and drones and high numbers for hulls and turrets. This account could soon have a GS of 8000 without drones or augments, but someone with a lower GS could have powerful augments and powerful drones and beat me easily. Many drones don't need MUs to be effective. MUs just make them more effective. But at least augments are visible on the TAB screen. Drones should be on there as well. I didn't like V/R because I couldn't read the all of the information because everything was moving too quickly. It worked for augments and modules, but not equipment levels. The new TAB window is better.

Thunder is better, even though there might be more Grizzly modules than Orka modules, but it's not as much fun More fun instead of better is an interesting decision because you might make your team weak if you choose one of the weaker turrets, but I would rather have Striker teammates instead of Shafts on heavy hulls that spend the entire battle in scoping mode

I've just started with Striker (at Mk7-7 at the moment) and I don't get to use salvos much either, but I think that normal shots are quite effective I've played for over 1600 hours with Smoky though, so my playing style is already based on chipping away at targets instead of trying to one-shot / salvo them, and I find aiming and remembering which side is going to fire quite easy I'm too inexperienced to say that it's useless, but it is a lot of fun; I managed to kill someone on the other of Berlin yesterday and watching the rocket fly and hit was extremely satisfying I was trying to finish the win 10 battles mission last night and Magnums (many with AP) were everywhere and giving me hell At high ranks / Mks it's incredibly powerful for skilled players

    Assault Rounds is my default augment on all of my accounts now It's the closest thing to old Smoky / instant-hit sneaky shots, and I don't think giving up critical hits is a bad trade for fewer misses and more impact force Autocannon is an abomination; I'll never use it

    Let's Discuss Striker!

    I have a Striker on one of my accounts now (currently Mk 7-5 at General) and it's a lot of fun, if difficult to master But I rarely use the salvo because enemy players have to be bad enough to get a lock-on, and they rarely are I often equip Cyclone just in case (and because there's no projectile speed penalty unlike, RRE), and timing it so Dome crowds get hit just after the Dome disappears is fun, but it's single shots nearly all of the time (same for being Juggernaut, I only get to use the rockets when the enemy team / Juggernaut is rubbish)
  16. Chronos might be a more accurate name for that drone because time seems to slow down when you use super speed

  18. @TWICE I've got 3 Days Premium several times from Shard Containers, so it's going to be much more common now
  19. @asem.harbi I think it is a permanent change, to X4 (X8 when doubled). The "experiment" last Spring was X3, but they decided to change it to X4. In the past when there were a lot more players and you could be confident that the game would still be making money two or even three years from a date, new players taking years to get to Legend etc. wasn't a problem Now with fewer players and less certainty, I don't think the developers believe that they can promise that the game will exist for that long, so the increased XP allows them to "finish" the game in a much shorter time I said the same thing last September
  20. @asem.harbi I bought it for fun, and it is fun. I only have Smoky & Hunter on that account and I wanted something different, and difficult. I just forgot that the recoil from a salvo of 8 rockets could flip it over in low gravity mode.
  21. They are, but I don't think I'm going to check the shop that often for 1000 crystals anymore. More income from Shard Containers. Based on my records, the chance of getting 1000 crystals is only 10%

    International Women's Day 2021

    I wish it was one every three months instead instead of having three between September and December / January, but I guess the Black Friday one is there (instead of March / now) because people will be more likely to spend money
