Glad I saw this mentioned here. Some people forget that one is a hitscan turret and the other is a projectile turret with a projectile radius. Whilst Projectiles have travel speed and may have some bugs, on general grounds, you will hit people. Of course this gets a bit more difficult on maps like massacre etc. The same issue can partly occure with shaft, since hitlag exists. Just less painful than usual since you can see the blue outline which is cheesy. Thunder nanotech, unless the vid I just checked from 1 month ago, still shows that it can damage enemies too within the normal thunder splash range. That in itself allows it to easily to a bit more than what healing emitters does. Hence, if y'all allowed autoaim on that, it'd make pick and choose a bit more easier. As it stands, yes healing emitters is annoying to face and feels free to play, though nanotech shells/ammo in my eyes is already at a good state even without ally autoaim. Sure both have different ideal ranges but that is the point of it, both have generally different scope of abilities and both are cheesy to play.

Pretty high investment price certainly. I guess they tried to gauge how many players/accounts were people willing to spend a bit more than usual for a reactively 'free' set of rewards. I myself was not willing to go out of the way and do this on multiple accounts, the paint itself I wish had a bit more effort and detail in though for being a 'currency' paint... Certainly not a bad offer as it is intended for the higher end of the spenderbase. There's a chance we see another like this around the tanki bday. For a fact this is superior for a spender than the tankifund atleast which 10 boosters can barely make it worthwhile.

It's certainly something that is happening currently, I don't think we have more than 10k accounts with such facilities, though if we do, then this event would have been closer to completion. Majority of this playerbase does not have the advent bundle purchased due to priceband. Not to forget, some of these advent owners may have already purchased into the fund too exhausting the basic offers. The bigger bundles are hardly worth it for players who are looking to get efficient with it. Seems evident enough that people are purchasing boosters for bombardier augment. Guess only time shall tell, but so far I think this may still end up being the worst reached fund, even beating the last fund which currently holds the title. Everyone that I have spoken with mainly only look at the first 10 tiers and see supply placeholders and are saying no. Naturally if we get near 20M, i'm sure we may even complete it and all the players that disliked the first 10 tiers may buy into it when they see it as profitable. Noone really sees the tankifund for the raffle, but rather the rewards. Currently Standing at 1490 rubies for a bunch of supplies and common keys, the incentive is extremely low and 2 battlepasses are far more worth it in comparison. If the event or minigame etc, does not beat this baseline of rewarding, players are less likely to bother with it. Of course, when I say players, I mean the f2p base mostly and the low spend efficiency players. All the others may not care too much and will chance it.

A few players from Madness haven't got their rewards on some accounts, I am contacting support for one of my own. UPDATE; Items received for my alt. Please contact support if you feel you were not rewarded correctly.

Technically this is true, for now, well, not exclusive but currently only possible to be obtained via this event. Of course they'll bring it back in a higher ruby cost event. Would like to speculate snowtrap event with Gauss IC, Nemesis Aug, Hammer IC maybe? who knows

The activity in this thread speaks wonders of how the player base now sees this event. Near enough the majority have decided to ignore it for most part, at this rate, we may not even cross into 8 figures. Tournament fund as a result will be 0, no player will actually have any incentive to purchase a booster until a minimum of level 11 to get Rico GT, even then, 10k tk for rico GT, u'd have to be desperate for the skin collection itself. I wonder how the russian community thread looks... Only hopes for the next tankifunds are to revert back to the original 15 tier tankifunds and a price reduction clearly is shown to be required to a reasonable level.

I would be interested to find out how many accounts currently have a tankoinpass/rubypass attached, if this value exceeds 30'000. Completing this tkfund would clearly be instantaneous. Yes the price did increase, so it's basically 10 days of a pass, or 5 days of both passes combined for older players. Not sure what the game wants here, but this one looks to be the most appalling out of the lot when they know that all the f2p funds have been exhausted. Just when we thought they would finally try to make something doable for minimum spenders, there's that price increase. I personally do not mind the filler rewards as much, it is after all, an investment based 'minigame' which requires a decent set of dolphin players. Seemingly, we have lost a lot of these dolphin players over the past 3 years...

It certainly isn't impossible to start a f2p account. Though the game has an abundance of items to get and the chances you get something that can carry you through the mid game is fairly low without spending. Naturally things in this game are geared to give anyone that spends, usually a greater advantage than one that doesn't. When I made a new account, it was okay, but since I know what the endgame offers, I knew my current standpoint with what I had is not going to cut it no matter how many sales I wait and free tier bp's I complete. If you look at the ruby gain, yes you may get lucky with a timed battle pass but how much did you have to grind for that? The bots also in MM offer less battle score (and a higher exp ratio) making it a lot more time consuming to complete basic missions at times and ranking speed efficiency nerfed. Endless loop of horror and to add pain. Needing to use rubies to unlock next modifications already limits your use of rubies for events. Whilst you mentioned the 100 rubies addition to the regular container, this is of course a very low rate, by the time a player ranks above :rank02:, the players' pool already slowly starts increasing hence reducing your chances. Not to mention the moment you get to master sergeant, all augments will be in the pool so this becomes terribly rng locked. Dozens of shot effects, plentiful augments that you will not like or won't be worth your while. Rest in peace adrenaline after several nerfs and hope you get lucky on decent overpowered exotic augment releases when they happen. You may start with Oracle now, though Brutus at warrant officer 5, the gameplay at start is fully misleading of the horrors in the end. As new players witness any combo which seems to perform well, they often will attempt to buy these items they face, often not realising that it's a combo of some sorts. Players are not keen to check forum/wiki etc to understand, they dive in head first. Thy have attempted to make the game friendlier, but the transition to horror is very sharp and not subtle.
-
It's easy to say this as an older player with an alt acc, but for a new player, it's often easy to get your vibe and combo picked, along with boring gameplay with bots now and then the occasional balance problems occurring mid-endgame. The currency gain and Oracle gaming is so not worth creating an acc if you knew what endgame has.

The official release was a silent one, this drone is only given to new accounts as a placeholder drone which requires no upgrades and operates as a weaker crisis, though consumes no additional supplies. Old players, at least for now will not be getting it since they already most likely have a drone that is upgraded.
-
Good change finally, all those bot farmers malding as if they were doing 1500-2500 scores with it
-
Would have been nice if you could use crystals to early complete the silver contracts too, but I guess endgame crystals now are just supply+nade bait now, I don't see myself using them otherwise, 1k score would have been somewhat 'okay' then. 3k is just asking for too much...3k makes sense for 5 moves at least at best.
-
Doable with around 21 gold contracts provided u do 63k rep points, ensuring to activate and claim contracts as you go. I for one wasn't gonna grind that much.
-
Took 1020 common keys to get stun shaft, didn't get incendiary unfortunately but 8 augs out of 34 total, 1 of which being one I wanted, not bad, but too many containers still.
-
Nope, though it is available as event rewards at times, i.e the current one going on I believe, please do not enter it without understanding how much it would cost for this event. Yes, batteries no longer exist, these were removed and players compensated accordingly. Some drones were also removed whilst some became hull augments, check the wiki for some of the augments. Try to complete dailies to ensure you get the 3 tankoins each day, playing may be tough, aim to only spend on upgrades during sales, black friday may be the next 50% one, maybe if lucky or christmas after that. Stay in tune with events. Most of the good stuff in the game do cost, so if you can't spend, be very careful about what you choose to spend on since it also takes tankoins to upgrade to the next modification. Grenades also released so best to maybe make a new account to get a hang of some of the basic mechanics again, but it may feel dull and boring. Bots have also been added to the game. There's a lot to see and experience as much as the divide between players gears in some games.
-
Hoping 1600 regs are remotely enough to bag both of these against around 20+ other leg augs in the pool
-
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha, less chaotic they said...more fun they said...
-
We both know the game well enough to know majority of the stuff isn't as it seems :odosmug: Unlike the rock paper scissor event which was explicit enough to show as such, I would not have assumed otherwise, especially if there is no 'starting phase' time/day to set a board and you start the event immediately. This is a bit too much to ask for, as we all know...
-
where was the lie? ? Nowhere does the event claim to even say player generated fields are to be used explicitly cooking for the sake of cooking, this event was not intended to be cheap on average, just wait for a more efficient event lmao
-
Glad a few people know, meanwhile haven't played myself for a while now, progress is just under 1.3M rep points since I don't bother grinding. Gonna wait to see what the trick or treat event has to offer, if it will make me want to play again, otherwise I'll just stay bench and just claim tankoin pass and premium as I have been lately and then close the game.

All these low post players coming over to the forum to mald, lemme copy paste a short snippet real quick: BY ENTERING ANY EVENT, YOU ALL, agree to all the rules stated by these events. So stop deceiving yourselves please. It has been known forever that the game can do what they want to do, when they want to do since a long, long, long time. And no, I am not siding with the devs, this event needed a bit more thought clearly, it is what it is. Be constructive and move on? People out here expecting straight to the platter. Don't worry, I've been sleeping on the latest events since none of the items in there have been worth me playing on the main. You really asking this question, when the reward set was very limited and there are no repeatable unlimited rewards? :ohno: Infinite epic key generators and '5 augs' of great variety on this are a huge difference to the 5 rewards of which everyone gets the same items. One can clearly see the huge divide this would create. Tbh, a 'temporary fix' would be to instantly release all event associated augments into the common and epic container's legendary pool to allow 'timmies' to have a chance to claim these (people would cry about it even then). But yeah, if there were people just generating epic keys, then it's more than obvious what this means. Akin to one of the old tk generator halloween events after a certain step before the rng was adjusted.

I did read the rest, don't have too much time to delve in, but this is far too targeted, these are pretty much counters against everything else in the game too. Aside Paladin OD being immune to pulsars. Status augs are still in the game but with some turrets, these have become near rare to see, i.e strikers mainly swarmed with hydra, vac missiles and tandem for now. Cyclone and some status ones are used but not much. Hammer status augs are very very rare etc. So it should be a bit less problematic for AP's. As for nades, this is still a new thing and there are new varieties to come. It would be wiser to wait for all nades to release before a good revamp because we still don't actually know the full stats of these publicly. The way you're wanting a buff, some could say the same for say Mammoth OD too, hitreg terrible, can die to blasters too since needs melee range, it may have status immunity but prone to being flipped with dead tanks far too often at times. More often wasted than Titan domes from personal game experience. For being an offensive overdrive, many think this is weak and needs a buff. I think it would be better if you create a table or so displaying positives for each overdrives and counters and possible disadvantages to get a wider picture of the whole scenario.
-
Conveniently forgotten the 2K damage and weak damages of all. The idea of chaos damage was to assist in bypassing all players defences because they were virtually unkillable. You said the positives and their counters, seems somewhat balanced? As for counters, Titan can also destroy the ares bfg, other domes and wasp bombs. So I personally thing it has it's fair uses. Ofc it becomes busted when the enemy team has no counters. Far too busted. Calling it far too busted is still not enough. Current one allows a decent mine clearance and we don't need to make mines fully obsolete now. Too much immunity and jammer making it busted. Why do they need stun imm and ap imm too? You want to give them a better phoenix? Far more reasonable than idea 1, but AP immunity is a no no on top of heals, have 1 or the other. Shouldn't need to give jam immunity too, this would kill the counter moves potential, whole point is to make od use need to be smart, not free. We don't want another paladin type OD tbh, though I do like that there's a speed reduction for titan and a radius and effect nerf. Though logically speaking, most players would not like their speed to be nerfed upon using an overdrive, doesn't really sound like an overdrive. Is there any existing overdrive which reduces a tanks params? Aside those making you deal supercharged against arma basically. I personally think the OD is fine as is, it was designed to be a defensive one, serves it's purpose, is certainly strong and requires a decent placement at minimum for optimal usage. I understand you want more offensive use of it. But that would mean changing too much of something which is still a hit or miss depending on many factors in a game. The heals may feel small but don't forget the damage reduction amplifies the 'reactive health points' for a while. Me personally, I'd say Dictator OD is near the weakest, but it can be very broken in certain setups. That's what it is about od's, they each have some use which is very optimal and others which end up becoming wasted.

GT skins are often known to enter the legendary container (skin container), so eventually they'll return, but won't be easy to get. A small chance in epic containers but not as likely reused there unless they want placeholder rewards and rarely in another future event but to reuse skins people may have obtained won't go down as well.
-
Not that I know of, since people could bag mk7's and request to get to a rank where it's busted, not logical. If you want a real answer, contact support via email.
