I'd recommend it! Trickster is quite fun, and serves a different purpose than lifeguard.

Correct, this is how it's listed in the patch notes and described in the VLog.

All passive drone boosts listed in the garage are incorrect. Here is the correct information, determined by testing: The damage boost (%) follows this linear pattern: 33.3 + 3.33 × Drone MU Level The armor boost (%) follows this quadratic pattern: 25 + 1.75 × Drone MU Level – 0.025 × Drone MU Level2 I'm 100% certain on the damage boost, but the testing and function modeling left things slightly unclear on the armor boost due to some rounding in the damage display and possibly in the parameters themselves. Even so, the function I came up with for armor, if not precisely correct, is much closer than what's listed in game (within 0.2% or so instead of a different number entirely).

Wiki is now updated: Healing teammates is essentially removed entirely (1hp per tick) Also, note that critical hits from Isida (or any turret for that matter) allow it to ignore protection modules, and so this augment will be unable to do this on any ticks. With that in mind, I think that wrapped up in this update is probably a move to get more ocelot modules used, since they practically never were before. Also, just my opinion here, but while 50% sounds pretty OP, keep in mind the game is different from how it was back when they removed it - supplies to armor and heal are much more common now, and modules are stronger now then the paints were back then. It'll still be quite a strong augment, but not as ridiculously strong as it was originally, even though the 50% parameter is the same.

The pass's description says that you So to my understanding, you will always get the full 5000 Tankoins if you log in and claim the reward each of the 30 days after your purchase, whenever that is.

A new drone would have been neat I guess. I think they probably chose to rework trickster because it was consistently getting outperformed by Mechanic (and even Supplier for that matter)

Gotta say, I'm quite excited about these holidays! The no-drone and no-OD gold event will be lots of fun, very much like the old days - thanks for that! SJR is always fun, and the special missions to earn some ultras don't seem too hard And finally, a speedy counterpart to defender and booster! Looking forward to getting some mileage out of trickster now ?

@RIDDLER_8 The update to the trickster drone should help make speed boosts somewhat more valuable.

Yes! You can do this sort of thing in PRO Battles. What you need to do is: Go to the battle mode selection menu (the button with 4 squares on it) Scroll to "Battle List" and click on it Click "Create" Select the map you want to practice on Click on "Custom Options" and check the "Private" box - this ensures nobody can join the battle and interrupt you while you learn. You can still invite friends to join you if you like. And that's all! You can play around with different settings if you want, but the only thing that you really need to worry about is setting the battle to private so you can practice or test things in peace. Hope this helps, let me know if you still have questions!

Welcome back! Glad you're enjoying it. If you're looking for powerful drones, here's a list to get you started: Defender (constant double armor, strengthened most of the time) Booster (constant double damage, with an extra boost every 30 seconds or so) Miner (allows you to plant lots of mines) Mechanic (faster/better repair kits, get points for activating near allies) Brutus (not particularly powerful, but cheap and simple to use) If you don't mind spending a lot of crystals to upgrade them a long way, these drones also perform great: Saboteur (Ultimately allows you to plant more mines than Miner, but only with a lot of upgrades) Hyperion (Allows near-constant use of Double Damage, Double Armor, and Speed Boost, but consumes a lot of supplies) Modules you'll figure out after a while, but if you'd like a place to start, I'd say go with Gauss, Magnum, and Railgun protection. Also, don't worry about spending lots of crystals on high % protection until you've played for a while: you'll be better off investing in your hull and turret at first. If you like playing with Hunter+Smoky, stick with it! It's still a solid combo. Regarding whether augments are worth buying: Hull augments: no, just wait to get them from containers since purchasing them directly is too expensive Turret augments: depends on how many you want. I'd recommend buying a couple good ones and waiting on containers for the rest Smoky has loads of great augments, the details of which are here. If you liked the older mechanics of smoky, you'll want to either go with Assault Rounds (fast bullets, high impact, but no critical hit) or Adrenaline (regular smoky, but more damage). If you want to branch out a bit, any of the status effect augments are great, and the most accessible are Cryo Rounds (freezes your target on critical hits, restricting their movement) and Incendiary Rounds (burns them on criticals, dealing extra damage). Autocannon is an immensely popular augment that's very easy to use, but it does feel quite different from stock smoky. Anyways, I know this was kind of long, but I hope it helps! Here's some general tips for working up the ranks, especially F2P: Keep track of your shards, exchanging them for a container whenever you can Only upgrade one or two turrets and hulls until you reach the Mk7 ranks - it's much better to have a couple of strong combos than a bunch of underleveled ones Don't buy supplies or batteries, ever. Your crystals are always better spent on upgrades, even if you run out of something, and you'll get these consumable items from other sources. If you complete all of your daily and weekly missions, you'll be able to finish the biweekly challenge, which has some nice prizes. Wait until sales to make large purchases (new equipment modifications, augments, etc.). There's no set schedule, but I don't remember the last time it was longer than a month in between sales - they come up fairly often.

Adding to what others have said, any overdrive with a stun (Hopper's or Hunter's) will interrupt the activation of any overdrive with a warmup period - Hunter, Crusader, or Ares - and reset it to 0%. More details on stunning can be found here.

Sometimes the contents of ultra containers change. Certain skins end up being more or less exclusive depending on how long/how often they're in the reward pool for ultras. Time will tell! Good luck to all trying to get it from this ultra weekend's special mission Ultras.

1) Nope, just visually! Not to worry. 2) That's a matter of opinion. In skilled hands it's balanced, but many players have trouble with it. I think you're right that the lack of modules being nice though, we'll probably see an increase in those. 3) Like before, the buyer aspect is only cosmetic - it's listed separately from the striker buff in the patch notes. Yep, that's what I'm getting from the patch notes.

Toxic Mix+Viking AP+Booster ?

Currently, it's still in the testing and planning phase. Official prices, release dates, etc. haven't been released yet, but the VLog did indicate that this update will be implemented. From what I've heard from the test server, module 2 costs 10 Tk, module 3 100, and module 4 1000, but of course those are subject to change with the actual rollout of the update. As far as P2W goes, yeah, it is a bit more in that direction, but 110 tankoins for the second and third slots isn't bad with weekly missions. 1000 for the last one is more of a stretch, but achievable F2P with some patience.

I have also experienced the bug with Hammer's Adaptive reload; killing an enemy with the last shot should instantly refill the clip but instead does a normal clip reload.
-
To my understanding, no. I think new missions only appear on the server restart if you've completed the previous one.
-
I believe registration opens tomorrow with the start of the event.

I got 8 effects at once today! (I know only 7 are in the pic, but that's because I had to press shift to take the screenshot, removing the "Overdrive fully charged" star that I got from a nuclear just before this).
-
Cool! What a fun and artsy way to tease an event.
-
AMOGUS ? Seriously though, I think they're just trying to give players an easy mission with that one, nothing too concerning about it in my eyes.

While most status effects only occur on criticals, there are a few exceptions. In the case of gauss, critical damage on a salvo would be OP, but then again so would status effects on non-charged shots, so the status effects are given to the salvos. Shaft AP and Magnum AP are other augments that apply their status effect with a different mechanic than criticals.
