Not every one. As you may have noticed, so far people who are celebrating are helpers (and the helper candidates). Let them do their job to pump the tires. The fact that they already start celebrating without even knowing what the new hull does and how will it be released is a very good sign that they are being instructed to post here in order to built up the hype. If you are really whole heartily celebrating, at least you should know what are you celebrating for right?

Do I sound like I'm actually trying to suggest something? Like some "let's make the game better" stuff? Come on... Unless the Devs are a whole bunch of idiots (hopefully not), they should have already known Tesla is OP right at the beginning. I mean, even a 5 year old (or a grown up man with the IQ of a 5 year old) can tell Tesla is clearly more effective then the rest of the turrets. If that's the case while the Devs decided to do nothing about it for whatever reasons might be, do you think players opinions, including yours and mine, will even slightly matter? Like it is gonna to have any impact on the Devs decision? You can spend (waste) all those time suggesting whatever you like. Good luck for you (you will need it, A LOT!!). As for me, I'm just here to rant, laugh and see how this will end up. BTW, there is one thing you are right about. It is not sarcastic. It is a disgrace, pathetic. How long has this been since the release of Tesla? And what have the Devs done so far? "Long live Tesla Online" - Alternativa Devs
-
The Devs want infinite shooting turret? Fine, then reduces its damage. Just like Twins. If the Devs want a high DPS turret, then don't make it able to shoot infinitely. Like Isida and literally the rest of the close range turrets!!! It's not that complicated isn't it? It's not rocket science!!! And apparently those "we listen to feedbacks, but just listen only. We still do whatever the heck we want" Russians are trying to keep both. How long has this been since the release of Tesla? Like a few months?
-
Let me get this straight. When we are talking about balancing, modules should never ever join the discussion. Of course every turret is trash when the opponent has 50% damage reduction against you, what's the point of the discussion then? Turrets should be balance without modules come into play, this is done so to eliminate as many variables and noises as possible and to create a equal playing field. This is how comparison should be conducted. And this is how researches and papers being published and reviewed. Tesla being a close range turret doesn't justify how easy it is to ditch out damage, it is far more superior than the rest of the close range turrets. In fact, even with the absurd buff of x5 crit buff Freeze get a while ago, Tesla is still better. What I mean is the max damage of a MK8 (a.k.a MK7+) Tesla should be equivalent to the current damage of a MK5/6 Tesla. The rest of the MK should have the damage scale and re-calculate.
-
The so call "nerfs" you mentioned literally changed nothing. The main problem of Tesla is the sheer amount of damage it is able to put out with little to no effort from the player what what so ever. And of course, none of the balancing changes is even remotely close to tweaking the damage. As many have suggests, the current damage of MK6 Tesla should be the damage of MK7+ Tesla in the first place. I don't mind P2W, this is how this business model works. But when the Dev deliberately make a game mechanic OP as hell for zero reasons (it is not even related to P2W, since anyone can own it with little effort), this is just a disgrace.
-
In short, this is a bad update, similar most updates we have for the recent months. Nerf to a bunch of mid range turrets for no reasons. Useless nerf to Tesla. It is broken as hell and everyone knows about that. The main issue is the damage. What's the point of shifting all those critical chances, range and stuff? Dilatory protocol aug. encourages camping, similar to Magnum. Why would anyone think it is a good idea to encourage camping in a PVP game? It's just stupid.
-
Sidenote: in TX the Freeze's fan does turn. And you don't have to buy those so call "ultra" skin
-
Anyway, I'm just here to see how long can this game last. What I see so far is a whole month of garbage balancing changes, while at the same time, refusing to make changes tat are obvious enough. No/meaningless nerf to Tesla There has been a few direct and indirect nerfs to Tesla, but none of that actually matters at all. Nerfing Tesla aug. is good, but the main issue is not the aug. but the damage. And with no surprise, nothing has been done on the damage department so far. Absurd buff to Firebird to Freeze Weird changes to Driver (seriously, why???) Nerf to some medium range turrets (again, why????)
-
And you are suggesting the Devs may thought nerfing it will make it a bit more playable? Well, good luck with your awesome theory then.
-
Theory has to make sense. Yours doesn't. It is a claim. An absurd one. You assumption works this way Railgun nerf Less player playing railgun, railgun become less popular Less playing equipping railgun module The rest that still playing railgun will get an indirect buff Yet, it doesn't end there 5. Old railgun players realized there are less railgun modules out there, they re-pick railgun 6. Railguns are popular again, so does the railgun modules 7. Repeat This is an endless cycle. Nerfing railgun will never ever achieve what you are suggesting. And I thought it is obvious enough for an ordinary human being to realize that. "The Devs are trying to indirectly buff Railgun by directly nerfing it". What in the hell is that??
-
I thought only Riddler can make up such cleaver explanation. I guess this is what happen when a person is trying to pump the tires. What's your next suggestion? Trying to make peace by sending an army to the battlefield? When all the enemies are dead, peace is achieved?
-
I give you one more chance to read what you have typed here. Does it even make sense at all? You are essentially suggesting the Devs are trying to indirectly buff railgun by directly nerfing it... What is this????
-
Player: Nerf Tesla, it is broken!! Tanki Dev: Slightly nerf Tesla. Also, nerf a bunch of other turrets which no body is asking for.
-
If you think a 50% damage reduction is a must in order for you to play normally, isn't it already a very good sign of Tesla is outrageously broken?
-
That's exactly what "drone" did in TX. Basically it spawns with limited duration and equipped with a minigun and will keep firing non-sop, even if you are dead,
-
P.S. That "skin" for Mammoth and Twins was previously available in TX. Guess adding "skins" from TX to TO is one of their strategy now. I do want to have the TX XT skins, they look much better than these golden plate things we are having right now. (p.s. the black plates are the skin, the white part is the paint)
-
Well you see the Devs strategy here. Instead of fixing the Tesla, which pretty much everyone knows it is broken, they releaseed a new OP augment for Hammer followed by a "ultra weekend" so that they can milk from it. And they make these two as bundles "You think Tesla is too OP? Well you can spend money on buying these bundles and I can guarantee Tesla will no longer be a problem for you anymore." This also serve as an assessment of the impact on the companies income since they just locked the region setting.
-
RIP. Welcome to Tanki
-
And apparently I was right
-
To be honest, except for Crisis, which P2W kinds of justify its effectiveness, there isn't really any logical reasons to explain why Booster and Defender are more effective than the rest of the drones. So either a nerf to both of them or a buff to the rest of the drones will be logical. But this is Alternativa we are talking about, a bunch of Russian which is infamous of making decisions that make zero sense.
-
All I can say about this is: Good Luck. I have played quite a few F2P, P2W games in my life. I understand how this business model works. Yet, so far Alternativa Games has the worse implementation of that model. They managed to trigger buyers.
-
Reinstall the game and try to play a TDM match to give this game one last try. Leave the game after a few minutes and uninstall the game again (yes, CLEAN uninstall). Why? Because I saw two damn Tesla just brainlessly charged into the enemy base and somehow still get the highest score and K/D. At first, one of those two was still being conservative and camp near the exit of the enemy spawn with Dilatory Protocol. But after a minute or two, he realized he doesn't have to and just brainlessly charging and destroy everyone. What a wonderful experience!!!!! And I'm 100% certain that the Devs deliberately make Tesla this OP so that they can milk even more from it despite it is out of the so call "early access". I have already said this game is better of without Tesla if the Devs are not planning to nerf it. And I have been right about this so far. Welcome to Tesla Online guys. And I like the name of the game studio. Alternativa Games, thanks for the suggestion, clearly I should seek for alternative games
-
As if Magnum camping is not disgusting enough, the Devs have to make it even easier. When every single game devs are trying their best to discourage camping, Tanki Devs have to do the opposite.
-
@B.A.B.I: Talk about how OP this turret is in DM with a video to justify that. @RIDDLER_8: Cool Video Me , thinking the logic behind this conversation:

This assume the price in the shop is fair, which is not. Pretty much everyone knows everything in the shop super overpriced if they are in US region. 300 USD for a bundle of loot boxes and a bunch of virtual items? Really? People who yell about this are not necessarily poor. Take me for an example, I make US$4k per month which is way more than enough to buy every single item in the shop. But is it really worth it? Can't I find a better place to spend my money, if I really want to? Like, with that money, I can build a god like PC with the best hardware I can find, and I can buy the best MMO game up to date instead of sticking to this outdated junk. I can accept the price in the Russia region. For me, at least it appears to be reasonable. Those in other regions are simply outrageous. The Devs obviously have the choice to set whatever price they want. You obviously have the choice to buy it, which apparently you are doing it quit often. Yet, I also have the choice to not buy it, which I will not until the Devs change it back.
