But anyway, it is meaningless for this debate to continue. On one hand, the Devs won't change anything regardless how this debate ends up. On the hand, we have fools who are trying to put words into people's months. When being asked to read the whole thing before commenting, he apparently think it is not necessary. "You are my enemy because your view is stupid and you don't agree with me. I'm on the right side and I have win this argument, whatever it means" is what they are thinking. There is no way anyone can continue this discussion with people having an attitude like this.

Ah, no, it doesn't work the way you describe. During the delay, it is expected to see teams are NOT getting filled. You can't boost your K/D when not many people are loaded in. The delay is actually doing harm to Magnum campers, although minimal, since at the beginning everyone is scattered and that situation stays for a minute. Instead of in Siege mode, you just blindly fire a shot toward the point and you get a kill. That's 1 min out of 15 min. It barely affects anything. Most importantly, if I'm one of the people you are referring to (I do like boost my K/D, because why not?). Then I can confidently tell you that not only I'm able to maintain my average 3+ K/D, it is actually keep rising when I'm playing MM. But yeah, I sometimes see players still shooting the guy on the bridge instead of running to the objective once it is loaded in. And I have no idea why... Given your TL:DR apparently getting censored, let me remind you what I was thinking about this patch notes (not just the delay, the entire update). Hopely, that can stop your imagination.

Since you are reply to one specific post, stick to that only. If that's not the case quote the relevant posts. As it is clear that you can't read, let me elaborate, line by line what have I written. The white text is my OP and the orange text are my elaborations. Just to make it easier who people who can't read properly. Now it is your turn to explain to me Are there any contradictions here when I "mentioned the delay update - then try to evaluate the overall update"? How is it not related to whether you able to view things in full picture. When you seemingly unable to see any changes other than the delay in this one single update? Not to mentioned that you made your judgement by just reading the last line of my post, imagining what I was trying to say in the text that you apparently ignored, and accusing me of things I didn't say at all. Also, let me state my position again, in case you still can't read. The delay is a positive update, but the impact of it is minimal, almost non-existence. I don't like how the Devs advertise it as if they have done a massive job on the delay and actually achieved soemthing. When combining all the changes on this patch note, it is negative, making the game even more unbalance. Because the negative impact of some other changes outweigh the positive ones. Do I make myself clear? I'm tired explaining this over and over again. I hope you can actually read this time (God please, !!!), or I have to go to "A for Apple, B for Ball" mode or simply giving up.
-
Let me quote what I has written again. Taken from the last two sentences of what I have said. When I said you can't see the full picture, I really mean it.
-
And to be fair, if anyone actually believe the Devs are gonna balance the game in any meaningful ways, he/she is already one of those guys who fall into those illusions. Take this update as an example, the delay is added. At a first glance, the battle is slightly more balance now, despite it barely has any impact to the entire picture. Yet, at the same time, a new OP, P2W augment is added. It is clear that that appearance of the augment is way more impactful than the delay. Overall, if we view this entire update as a single package, it causes the game even more unbalance. And a lot of of people here failed to understand that part.

The fact speaks for itself. Let me just directly quote what that dude just said. What does it sound like to you? Remember he came up with his idea merely an hour ago before posting this. Does it sound like he "isn't sure about the consequences it may bring with it"? He basically just rejected his own suggestion right after suggesting it, without any one even commenting on his idea.
-
If you are giving out an idea or a suggestion, at least that's what you are hoping for right? You have to agree with yourself first before even open for discussion. If you don't even like your own ideas but you say it out loud anyway, then all I can think of is sabotage. Or why do you want to submit something that you don't really like and potentially making it into reality? If you misspoke, that's fine, every one does that time to time. But trying to explaining and justify it with sophistries, you will only make it worst. As for deserter state, yeah that's a stupid idea, but don't even try to change subjects as I have said nothing about it.
-
You are right. At least you understand players leave and come at any time. If that's the case, then why the hell do we need that delay in the first place? It will not do its job anyway because more players are properly leaving and joining the game AFTER that damn delay. I play along because apparently some one is trying to justify that delay is doing something. So I said "Fine, since you insist, let us actually make it do something". And now you are telling me you are not even buying your "invisible wall" thing? It is your own idea! that you posted literally 2 hours ago!!! And now you are telling me you don't really think it is necessary? Then why the heck you even suggested it in the first place?
-
Are you actually reading what I have wrote? The reset only appears ONCE AND ONLY ONCE. That's right after the delay has over. The timing is exactly the same as your suggestion of making an invisible wall during the delay. That is to make sure everyone is on their base once the delay is over. What you are saying here has nothing to do with that at all.
-
In case you have not played TX, how they implemented the delay there is to reset players position once the delay is over as if all of them are respawned at the same time. They didn't do it here because it takes more effort to do so and apparently the Devs doesn't find it to be worth the effort. The implementation of the delay in TX has that fixed. That shows the Devs actually know what to do, and just decided not to do it.
-
That is one possible reason. Yet, it can also appear in balanced team. So hear me out. Basically, for the situation of what @SporkZilla describe to appear is actually fairly simple. Considerable amount of team A members get dropped into the map noticeably sooner than that of team B. That allows members of team A rush to the team B's base. Yes, they can't grab the flag but they can camp. Once some team B members loaded in, team A focus fire on them. Since TO love to fill the battle one by one. It is easy for team A to pick off lonely team B members one by one. Now this is something the delay supposed to fix, yet failed to fix.
-
If you are happy with that small fix, and dreaming about future fixes that will eventually make the game better. Good for you. But for me I know for sure that you can't really fix the tilting Millennium Tower with duck tapes (hey it is duck tapes, it helps tiny tiny bit, right? It still helps!!!! Having duck tapes is better than none!!!! This is what you are trying to suggest here basically). Over the course, as the Devs introduces more and more OP augments to the game, which is inevitable, the tower will simply tilt even more and those duck tapes will do little to straighten it. But who knows, perhaps you really like those duck tapes and you want more. They are small fixes anyway right? It is better than none!!! Even though as @Thankxtu suggests, they almost make no difference at all. And yes, I'm gonna quit once again. In fact, i have already done a clean uninstall of the game.
-
Even those "helps" are merely statements, just for the sake of presenting to the players, while the fact is it will barely change anything and most likely never will?
-
I suggest you read the last two paragraphs that I have just added. Then perhaps you will understand what's going on better.
-
Tighten a Philip head screw with a slotted screwdriver will also "fix something", well eventually. Just takes unnecessary more efforts and time while achieving little. The stupidest thing is, the optimal tool is right beside the Devs and the Devs decided not to use it. I'm not sure what in the world is going with you and a few of your buddies. You appear so happy, so satisfied about what the Devs bring out although it basically change little to nothing when viewing in a larger picture. That is you and your buddies failed to achieve. Way too focused on the current change, imagining it actually does some impact while failing to see the actual scale of the impacts in larger picture. A small, insignificant change is enough for you to lose your mind and get excited for an entire week. Not to mention that the Devs clear hasn't pay much effort on it and rush through it. e.g. You can still spawn kill enemies during the delay. Isn't that one of the most obvious things that the delay should fix? Yet, if you like it, the choice is yours. You may satisfy with small, insignificant changes. If you like, you may stay in your dream of "This will change something" while rejecting anyone who is trying wake you up. If that's what you like, then have a nice dream, despite you properly will never wake up. If you will have no idea what I talking about, let me be blunt. It is as if the countries who claimed trying to stop the war between Russia and Ukraine by donating, selling weapons, doing conferences in the UN, and sanctioning Russia. Does it help? Yeah, kind of. Does it actually stop the war? Apparently not, the war is still going up until this minute. Is there a better way to help in the situation? Yeah, if you really want to stop the war, get involved with your army. Then why no one is doing that? Because these countries don't find it worth it to get involved in military actions after simple calculations. It is the same case for TO in here. The Devs don't find it worth it to actually balance the game that much, well understandable. So they start doing minor things here and there, which basically do little to no impact to the actual situation and claimed "Hey, we are trying to help. We are trying to create a fair environment to everyone". All those fancy actions are just statements, to show the public/players "This is how we stand. This is what we believe. We are doing something. We are trying to help", while the reality is they don't actually want to change anything. They are having a nice cash flow with the old formula and so far the numbers look great. Why do they have to pay extra effort to change anything, while taking the risk of ruining their profit?
-
Of course it is rushed. That delay brings no financial benefits to the Devs, there are simply no reason for them to take this seriously.
-
That addition of the delay is like trying to tighten a Philip head screw with a slotted screwdriver, while there is a Philip head screwdriver right at your disposal. Does it help? Well, kind of. Is that the most effective way to solve the problem? No. And most importantly, who would stupid enough to share with the world that they tighten a Philip head screw with a slotted screwdriver? And here we have a bunch of idiots doing that. And the most surprising thing is, there are actually more idiotic idiots buying that, defending it and celebrating as if they have solved world hunger.
-
How many times did you actually face that situation? Like 10% of the time? What you will be experiencing more is one of The game is not even filled after the delay is long past Over half of the time has pasted the point you joined the game You get an overwhelmingly strong/weak team. The result has already been decided before the game is even started. A fair game to everyone. The rush-Bs will be immediately destroyed because by the time they reach the enemy base, a lot of the enemy will have spawned in. None of above, as you are not playing MM 90% of the time Does this situation actually bother that much to you? More than everything else? Like Being shot down by a flying monkey who jumped to an unreachable place. Constantly get bombarded by a magnum who hide behind a wall the entire game A Crisis + Paladin just rush into your base, activates his OD and team kill your entire team Getting EMPed, Stunned, Jammed, APed constantly through out the game because the opposing team has a bunch of douchebags using status effect augments? The "people capture points or balls before the rest of the room is filled" is even more annoying to the above for you? Seriously?
-
The reality is, you can't make this game balanced. This is simply the nature of P2W games. You want to get stronger and gain more advantages? You buy!!! What I don't like is the attitude of the Devs. They are trying to create an illusion that the game is balance and fun to everyone. They make small changes and reuse old ideas that are barely relevant to the current situation and advertise it as if they have achieved something big, major, revolutionary in order to keep the hype up. What I want is honesty and transparent. I would rather the Devs just be blunt and say "No, this is not how F2P/P2W business model works. If we make the game absolutely fair to everyone, we will be broken.", instead of making all those cheeky moves.
-
Wrong, absolutely wrong. It is the YOU who failed to understand the situation and dare to educate some one with your lack of knowledge? In lower ranks, that might be correct, but because the Devs boosted the XP to oblivion, lower ranks will be irrelevant very soon. What's left is players who maxed out their ranks. The so call Legend ranks. Among Legends, most of them have 9k GS, and the difference between 9000 GS and 9999 GS can basically be ignored. What set them apart is the augments, drones and buyers only stuff they are using. Now remember, you get the exact same GS bonus regardless whether the player is using a rare augment or a legendary augment. So two 9999 GS player can end up very differently simply because one of them has Crisis and an AP augment while the other one has Brutus and a trash rare augment.
-
As for some guys here still believe the delay actually helps to make the game fairer. This is just completely bull crap. One single 4k GS player in a Legend MM game is enough to ruined the balance of the game. And how does that pathetic little delay actually help? I have seen games are not even completely filled when the game has gone pass that delay long ago, and you think that delay actually do something?
-
When the Devs are actually pay their efforts on making new stuff and place it with a reasonable price. I'm willing to pay. Yet, when all they do is simply reusing the same old formula and put an insane price tag on their low effort work. No, this is not the way of how a business should be making money. And if you never ever spend a penny on this game. You have no position to talk about this. You are nothing but one of those freeriders in the eyes of the Devs. You can't talk about on how a business will die while standing at the corner doing nothing of keeping the business "alive".
-
Ah, things I have done for the past years and keep getting ignored? No thanks. The Devs just do whatever the heck they like to do.

I'm not a professional designer. But get involved in many frontend implementations, so I know a thing or two about UI design. The new UI is way too mobile-ish. Everything is way too big to be viewed on a standard monitor. Try to post a screenshot of the UI on UI Design subreddit and claim this is done by professional designers, and you will get roasted immediately.

Depends how you use it really. I can get a stable 3+ K/D with Crisis. The fast switching between different modes is just extremely good. Yet, the supply consumption is just insane. Even with the fund boost during the weekend, my net income while playing MM still negative.
