  1. Can't you see how a few guys here being way too excited for the delay to be implemented? The most insignificant one, if at all. To be honest, how many people actually find that to be a problem really? At least you are right that this change is nothing more than a baby step, while there are better, faster, optimal way to address the fairness of the game without damaging the game economy, if that is what Devs really want to do instead of just blindfully sitting behind their monitor, reading all those numbers and think they actually have a full understand on what the heck is going on. E.g. Add a red tint to enemy OD. E.g. the bomb from Wasp and the orb from Ares. So you team mates can tell which OD is friendly and which is not. Buff Crusader and nerf Paladin. These two hulls are basically the same thing except the OD. Even the Devs agree that much more players are playing Paladin than Crusader, suggesting the former is objectively superior than the latter. Just get rid of Magnum. They are introducing projectiles while deciding not to change anything about the map design. The original map designs simply aren't design for that. What it ends up is it is extremely hard to balance, because quite frankly, you can't balance something that is completely out of place. If you increase its damage potential, it will be extremely annoying because you will not able to fight back 90% of the time. If you keep the damage low, then it will be worthless. Now these are just examples, the last one might be discussable, but the first two are super obvious. Picking any one of them, just one, will be much more beneficial to everyone than implementing that pathetic delay. But no, the Devs have to do the most insignificant thing and share with the world as if they have made a major achievement.
  2. That's not the point. The point is many guys are actually believe the delay will have big impact to the game balance, as if it can fix a lot of the complaints about balancing and fairness. It does not, well, it kinds of, but rushing at the start of the game is the least problematic issue we currently have, to the point it is almost irrelevant.
  3. No, but I did. With premium, you barely able to keep up with the usage of drugs. You won't have any spare cash left to buy or upgrade anything. Without premium, each time you play MM, you are losing money.
  4. For all those people who dreamed about the battle delay will make the battle fairer. Tell me, after playing for awhile, do you feel the game is actually fairer in any way? I mean, yeah everyone start at the same time. So what? OP augments still dominates. You still get placed in to trash team from time to time. The only difference is now the massacre get delayed for 60 sec.
  5. As a Crisis user, I can tell you that the crystal you get from normal gameplay is not enough to support your use of supplies.
  6. What this augment actually do: Note the screenshot is for Firebird, but it is basically the same thing for Freeze. Just replace "heating" with "freezing". Another low quality, copied and pasted work and the Devs charge a fortune for that. Totally "not useable" at all!!!! What.... What on Earth am I reading... This is the next level of "because I'm a helper chosen by the almighty Devs themselves. I have to kiss their asses in every possible opportunities".
  7. Have you played TX? Because I do. And I know how that 60 sec wait time ends up. If that delay doesn't work in TX, what gives you the confidence to claim that it will defiantly work in here? What makes you think waiting for extra 60 sec will actually help keep the game fair that much? Well, it helps, kind of, but only make it 10% fairer. Why? Because the main complaint of the battle not being fair is NOT because of the lack of delay. It is about the MM doing crazy stuff and decided to create an obviously unbalance match, filling 9999 GS players on one team and those poor souls on another team. And because of how OP some of the equipment are, one single buyer can change the tile of the entire game. And you really think that extra 1 minute delay can actually impact the flow of the match in any ways? Foolish. As I said, it is as if you are trying to fight a fire with a small glass of water, while there is a big bucket right beside you. In theory, your glass of water will help the situation, but reality is it barely makes a different. The most stupidest thing is, there are better ways right beside you, at your disposal at anytime, and you decided to choose the hard, meaningless way. Anyway, the game speaks the truth. Go play the game yourself and see does it actually help anything as you have expected. But as I recall, you mentioned you decided to stop playing and just assume everything how everything works/will work on the forum
  8. I mean really, Who actually love more XP, as if the XP progression is not fast enough already? Legends don't care about XP, because all they get while leveling up is a container which gives them trash 90% of the time. For the rest of the players, more XP is a bad thing. That means their equipment level and cash (in-game) flow will not be able to keep up with their level. This is also the reason why the Devs boosted XP gain, just for the sake of potentially having more income.
  9. Yeah, that's the point. On one hand, the Devs are giving false claims and hopes to the players that they are trying to make the game fair. And remember, a considerable amount of players are just kids, they will actually believe that. Yet, on the other hand, more mature guys here will know that basically impossible in this game because of the F2P, P2W business model. I would rather the Devs be blunt and say "No, it is not how F2P game works. If we make the game truly fair to absolutely everyone, no one will be supporting us financially and we will be broke" than trying to fool people and implement all those fancy, useless stuff. For example this in the release note: It is just bull ****. Yeah it will be fairer to those who have crap internet connections, but what about those with average connections (which are majority)? Why do they have to waste 30 - 60s waiting while earning nothing? Also, make the game fairer? With this? It is like trying to fight fire with a cup of water. Does it help? In theory yes. Will it actually change anything with that pathetic small cup of water? Absolutely not. They have many things they can do instead if they actually want to make the game fair (they don't, they just care about profit after all). One thing being nerfing Paladin and buff Cursader. Even the Devs agree that a lot more players are playing Paladin than that of Crusader, despite the two are literally same besides the OD.

    To be honest, they are loot boxes. You always don't get what you are after. You know what worse than getting 1k crystal? Getting legendary paints that you don't like. What are you gonna do with those ugly paints? You can't sell them or something.
  12. Or the other way around, when the Devs notice they can't make much money out of it. Then they will nerf the old stuff for the sake of "balancing" and then introduce new , even more OP stuff. Specially for augments, it is just super low quality work. It is always "Apply X effect on hit" or "Apply X effect on crit". And the same thing is getting reused over and over and over again. But what can I say, there are idiots stupid enough to buy that. If I were the Devs, I would do the same. Why bother paying efforts on making innovative mechanisms while there are morons literally surrender their cash once I rebranded the same old tech as new?
  13. Stun is OP in 1 vs 1 but doesn't benefit the user at all in a team fight. Yes, you can stun lock a single target, but you will be dealing so little damage that you will get your kill stolen 70% of the time. Every time when I see players celebrating with his stun augment, I always roast him by asking him to take a look at his score and K/D.

  15. Well, at least I don't have to face the situation of over half of the enemy team switch protection modules against me mid game because they think I'm too dangerous. Yes, that happens to me all the time. For those who like switching equipment according to how the battle goes, all I can say is, good luck.
  16. This is also why I'm so pissed. On one hand, the Devs claimed that "we want to make the game fun and fair to everyone". On the other hand, they decided to implement stuff that either is suboptimal for fixing the problem, or even making it worse. I'm not sure whether the Devs are too stupid to figure out the optimal way, or all they care is profit and cash. Either way, I'm not too surprise after being in this forum for a while. What surprises me is some of the guys in here just are too shortsighted and ignorant. An OP augment being put in the battle pass can get them excited for an entire week (It is just a damn low quality work bud. It is always something like apply X effect on hit, or apply X effect on critical hit). While some guys even call the Devs creative when all they did is put a classic gun game mode in the game and give it a fancy name call "Arm Race". These guys appear to have either decided to ignore the major flaws of this game, perhaps they have decided to give up after asking for a change for way too many times and unable to get a response, or simply unable to notice these issues.   17. You really want to make MM fair? Well, change the matching algorithm so that it compares against GS instead of ranks. Bam!!! 90% of the problem solved. And then, you can decided whether it is worth to chase down the rest of the 10% or just leave it as is.
  18. Well, that's what the Devs and some of the guys are thinking. I just don't understand these guys. The delay has already proven to be meaningless and causing more harm than good in TX. What give them the confidence to think it will work in here?
  19. Any ideas are meaningless unless the Devs willing to implement that. And based the past experience of the Devs being like "I just love to do what the heck I want to do. What are you gonna do about it huh?". I have zero hope about that.
  20. In theory, it makes sure the game will wait for those with poor internet connection to join before starting the match. Sounds good on paper, but will not fit in this game at all.
  21. And BTW, for those who have not played TX. You will soon realized the delay is not as good as it sound. Quite frankly, it is doing more harm than good. In fact, it is one of the reason why TX is dead. The Devs are trying to push competitive, trying to make their game a e-sport title while 1) their target audience are mostly leisure players instead of try-hards. They won't patiently wait for an extra minute while earning nothing; and 2) most importantly, you can't make a P2W game competitive. It is just not how P2W works.

Still no Paladin nerf/Crusader buff, despite the fact that the Devs have admitted that a lot more players are playing Paladin than that of Crusader, suggesting the balance between the two is completely off. And of course, they add more OP augments for sell. What a surprise!!!! I can hear the sound of the kids screaming with excitement despite they properly will never get it.

    Gameplay wise I would agree. Yet in terms of fairness, no!! It is super obvious that the Devs deliberately making the legendary augments OP and that's one of the source of their income. But if that's the case, at least make it fair. Augments are not equal even in the same tier. Turrets are not equal because some turrets get loads of augments while the others only have a few. Even hulls are not equal, as the hovering hulls are objectively better in every single ways if we don't take ult into account. I can understand things can get unfair in a F2P, P2W game. This is how this business model supposed to work after all. But when we are talking about stuff that are supposed to be equal, of course these Russians screwed it up and don't even given a damn. They don't even bother to given enemy OD a different color tint, which is basically a must of this type of games.

    At the mean time, a Tesla, without all those fancy augments can do far better job in that case. Remember, you are talking about a legendary augment here. Do you feel anything legendary about it? And in case you missed that, a lot of the stun, EMP and AP augments are also in the same tier. Do I have mention RR is clearly no where even match the OPness of those augments?

    You are basically trying to use a mid range turret, forcing it to be a short range weapon and trying to say "Hey, it's not that bad". When you are comparing across Vulcan augments, yeah, that's the best scenario for this RR. Yet, this is also the worst kind of scenario for Vulcan itself. It is a mid range turret, you will be destroyed by Firebirds, Freeze and all sort of close range turrets in those maps.
