It could be explained by Patch Update #659 (https://en.tankiforum.com/topic/392926-patch update-659 -released-20th-august-2021/). However, I'm unsure about it because you've mentioned that the currency in your Shop is Euro and not Australian Dollar. You could try contacting Tech Support via email (help@tankionline.com) and figure out the issue, in case Patch #659 is not the explanation.

I have a feeling that there are some technical difficulties in doing this... However, if this is possible in any way, I fully support it. In case you didn't know, by the way, it is possible to get a password for your account from Tech Support (help@tankionline.com), which you can use to login normally.

Might as well say "nothing counts" ? Oh, I'm pretty sure you could give me more than 30 if you really tried, but you fail to see my point. Please don't take my post(s) out of context, and please read them fully. In the public domain, I can list out at least three instances which show that the Developers do care about what the players think, as long as that feedback is actually constructive. In case you haven't noticed, there's a section in the weekly V-LOGs called "Blitz Q&A" in which Developers answer questions asked by players. There's also a Forum topic for it. More importantly, the V-LOGs now show the nicknames of the players who asked those questions, adding a personal touch. If you remember, the special Halloween B0-NK mode was very frustrating and boring because the Juggernaut was too powerful, and we had a flood of comments pointing this out. Acting quite swiftly, the Developers tweaked the mode and made it playable, making further tweaks as and when necessary while monitoring player-feedback. We ultimately ended up with a B0-NK Hopper mode which was very enjoyable even for PC players. One of the leading Developers, Semyon Strizhak aka Opex-Rah, has been more active than ever on the EN Forum in the past couple of months. Of course, you'll ridicule this point by saying "3-4 posts a month is nothing" - but a Developer, who isn't really required to respond to players on such a personal level, replying to ideas and posting comments is absolutely great. If you visit his Forum profile, you can see his recent activity. Anyway, if you still have a point to prove, feel free to send me a Forum PM. Let's not sabotage this topic. And mate, if you choose to believe that the "devs don't care and the game is trash" - you're fully free to do so. In a very similar way, I choose to believe that the Developers do care and while the game isn't perfect, it is striving to become better. I will support it by providing constructive feedback and doing my job - irrespective of what you think of me.

My name textualizes irony, for I am neither old nor wise, which is what "venerable" essentially means...

I've seen a Striker with Remote Rocket Explosives augment kill one of those Hopper-Magnums... A truly breathtaking moment! But one needs to be extremely skilled to pull of such a feat. With all due respect, I don't think so. There are numerous occasions recently which have clearly shown that the Developers do care, but I really don't understand how you've managed to not notice them. Look Diesel, toxic and/or salty posts, or unconstructive criticism, are absolutely useless if you really want the game to change. If you don't expect it to change, then is it really worth your time to post something just to discourage new players or diss the game, quite regularly? I honestly don't think so. It is impossible to make everyone happy. We only get to see negative comments because sometimes players are frustrated enough to express it publicly, and I understand their feelings. But when someone posts a positive comment, especially a Helper, they immediately get attacked for it and are accused of being biased. Is it not biased if you post comments with some inherent hatred for the game or its Developers? Is it not biased if you fail to see the point put forth by that person posting a positive experience, and just attack that person for being positive? You haven't been involved in such attacks, but I still felt like mentioning this point here while I was at it. The game isn't perfect and it can never be. Yes, there have been updates which were not player-friendly, and the Developers have poor prioritising skills according to some players, but it is all relative - it's all a matter of perspective. You may call this a dying, trash game, but Alternativa is still a significantly large company. Do you honestly think that they don't give enough thought to each decision that they make? Some decisions will obviously seem illogical and preposterous, because those decisions are (seemingly) more on the selfish side. But should they be blamed for thinking about themselves too? With or without my Helper positions, I would still believe that they have some reason behind their decisions, even though it may seem very stupid. They need to survive, and as MysticBlood said, finding the right balance is difficult simply because they cannot make everyone happy. So mate, irrespective of how frustrated you are, there's a way to express your complaints and frustration if you really want to be heard. Otherwise unconstructive feedback is just hurtful and pretty much useless. And if you further want to actively discourage other players from playing... you can't really blame moderators for doing their job, eh? Take it easy mate, calm down, and please do continue to post your valuable feedback, but in a different way — I would go so far as to say "in a better way". Feel free to continue this discussion in my Forum PM — let's not torture MysticBlood ?

No, it's definitely not boring. Depending on your outlook, it can be interesting & challenging, or downright frustrating. I have become a Helper because I enjoy the work I do, and being a part of this volunteer group has enabled me to see things more rationally, irrespective of what you think about my mindset. I see unfair criticism being thrown around as if it's a dust particle in a gust of wind - I then try my best to reason with the concerned people. Does this imply that I'm defending the game just because I'm a Helper? Or does it imply that I'm extremely biased? None of these. As long as I feel that a comment is unfair or uninformed, I will try to either dispel misconceptions, or figure out why that comment was made. If it turns out to be a genuine concern or complaint, it is promptly forwarded to the concerned authorities. Regarding "fun" for non-buyers, I'm a non-buyer too. I find the game fun most of the times, and hence I'm still here! Yes, not all battles are fun, but as a non-buyer, I think it's quite normal to expect challenges in a "freemium" game. If the battles become too frustrating, please leave those battles. You aren't compelled to finish such mentally taxing battles. I'd like to recommend LOLKILLERTOTHEDEATH's guide on dealing with OP combos in the archive section of Offtopic Discussion (it feels relevant here): https://en.tankiforum.com/topic/391831-dealing-with-overpowered-combos/ Pro battles already required a PRO Pass, a system which was scrapped in the HTML5 version. It'll perhaps hit harder because players have been enjoying free custom battles for a long time, but that is something we'll have to adjust to. Getting premium nowadays isn't that difficult, in my opinion, because of shard containers (mostly) and contest/event rewards.

Nah, I just used Crisis as an example to explain my point. It applies to all rare and prized items Glad you liked the crystals! Have fun on the battlefield ;)

My dear friend, there's absolutely nothing to fix! I totally understand your frustration and despair(?), but rest assured that F2P players aren't being targeted or something. They're a bulky part of the playerbase! It's all based on probability - larger the sample, higher the chances! And you rarely see buyers flexing their Ultra Mines on the Forum, do you? So you (usually) don't get to see all the common items that buyers get before getting a legendary or epic one. For all you know, they might have got hundreds and thousands of Ultra Batteries and whatnot before getting that coveted Crisis drone! Now, is this unfair? No! It's just how it should be. Rare items should remain rare, otherwise they lose their charm. If every player gets Crisis, it won't even be utter chaos - it'll be boring. Plain, unattractive, repetitive, and unplayable. The solution? Expect absolutely nothing from Ultra Containers, and don't grind just to complete that Super Mission. Play only as much as you enjoy.

I'm not a herbivore... Should I still be scared to death? -
Hi Omar! Please turn off "Mouse controls" in the Control settings. If you have already done that, then you have definitely encountered a bug, but that is highly unlikely.

Yo, Wasp is already HD... do you want an 8k Ultra HD skin now?

Happy, safe, and prosperous Diwali to anyone who celebrates it! I'd really like to make a heartfelt appeal to everyone who bursts firecrackers during Diwali - please avoid doing so, because you really end up causing more problems than the enjoyment you gain. I'll say it again: firecrackers cause both noise and air pollution, and these crackers are usually burst on open roads and sometimes busy, crowded places. This is extremely dangerous and harmful to each and every living thing in the vicinity. Just yesterday, I had gone down to get some stuff from the market late in the evening, and I couldn't even cross one of the small roads near my house because some seemingly "responsible" adults were having a great time bursting very loud and explosive firecrackers, showing complete disregard to passers-by and traffic! I had to jump over the gate of a residential society and navigate through their internal roads to reach the main road, where I found it very difficult to breathe: You may think that this is just a temporary thing - after all, Diwali arrives only once a year... but trust me, it's far from "temporary". Every firecracker you burst adds a significant amount of smoke, unburnt particles, particulate matter, etc. which are extremely dangerous for our respiratory tract (I haven't even mentioned the effect on other lifeforms...). Multiply this by the sheer number of humans that burst these crackers - and each human bursts multiple crackers at a time! "Meh, the smoke vanishes by the morning". NO. Those particles and chemicals either dissolve in the atmospheric water (leading to phenomena like acid rain), or leech into the soil. Or worse, they go into your lungs... So please, think about the impact of your actions this Diwali, and stay safe! ? ?

Voldemort: So you have chosen death... -
Yeah, I know, I had promised that I would jump the next time my internet decides to play party pooper, but before I could jump, it (my internet) returned to its original state - it just had to start working when I was having fun...

Ah yes... we both tried to get that Boosted Armor box there (on Solikamsk):

Writer's Corner it is... at least the section isn't pre-moderated! <3 ?

I believe it was always like that, just that after B0-NK got buffed (you can destroy the Juggernaut in 1 shot, but the Juggernaut needs 2 normal shots to destroy the B0-NKs), players stopped leaving battles... ? Earlier, the Juggernaut was almost impossible to destroy, because it could kill B0-NK Vikings in a single shot whereas B0-NKs required 2 successful critical damage shots to destroy the Juggernaut. This caused many players to rage-quit, naturally. But thankfully, this was changed quite fast yesterday, and the mode became balanced. On a serious note, if I am wrong, it would be great if we got a clarification from Forum Moderators.

A website called "Urban Dictionary", normally useful for finding out the meanings of some seemingly advanced internet slang... however, those screenshots show that people can actually add their own definitions on the website, so I'm not sure about the authenticity of it all ?

First of all, let me be clear - I am not "defending" Tanki because I'm a Helper. I agree with quite a few points of your topic, especially the negative effects on mental health. However, before we proceed, I think we must accept that this is true for many other games and social media platforms. Singling Tanki out is unfair. I think the main issue most players face is getting out of the playing loop: if a player loses, they play again, hoping to win and get rid of the frustration. If a player wins, they play yet again hoping to fight another equally thrilling battle, if not more (thrilling). This loop continues until something drastic happens (like mom barging into your room just to search for that one missing earring, when she is actually trying to check your laptop screen). If this gets too bad, extreme steps are necessary. For starters, ask Tech Support to block your account(s) permanently. If you think you're addicted enough to write to them again and get it unblocked, perhaps try de-linking your email address first (before getting the account blocked), and then link an obscure email address with the account. Get the account blocked. Then, keep changing the password of the obscure email address multiple times until you finally don't know the actual password. Getting the account unblocked now will be a nearly impossible task. The advantage of blocking your account is that you can still access the forum. If you can convince yourself that you're doing absolutely nothing different every time you play (the same monotonous cycle is repeating), then just click on that 'close' button. You are clearly not enjoying the battles and are in a losing cycle, so irrespective of whether you're in a crucial moment or not, just close the client/tab. Or delete the mobile app. Once you do this, get away from your device, take a long walk (preferably outside your house), and turn off the WiFi on your way. This break can help you in calming down, collecting your thoughts and emotions, and just looking at something different, for a change. The sooner you remind yourself that it's just an online game, the better. As a Helper of the game, do I not have the duty to help the game by encouraging people to play? In a way, yes. However, it is also my duty as a fellow human to ask you to stop playing if you're not enjoying battles and are in the vicious loop of endless playing. It is my duty as a fellow human to actively discourage you from playing, if you're playing and giving your real life obligations a lower priority. Whatever the world says, there is nothing more important than your real life, and this virtual life is no exception!
