    It also sucks so much that the salvo firing mechanism has to be done with the spacebar too. I never use it but sometimes you press the spacebar a little too quick before the reload and hold it but all it does is point the useless laser. If anything they should do a remap key option for salvo aswell

    I have just upgraded my Mammoth to M4 and equipped my old Smoky to see how it would do on Desert as mid defence, It performs good, no alts equipped. Protection against Smoky is there but not overwhelming. Smoky doesn't have any problems taking down light hulls that are trying to ambush the base. They have to pass the open mid field to do so. I prefer using Smoky above Striker even though Striker can deal way more damage. With the direct hits I can switch targets in an instant and atleast damage most of the enemies before the short range turrets take care of them. Mammoth does nice in open terrain too. It's useful to have that little more HP when you're locked to the mid field anyway. The Magnums still take advantage of you being so slow though.

    Nuuuuu not my baby Magnum! Aah on the other hand, something had to be done. Perhaps I can finally use my old Viking Thunder combo again like I did before the rebalance. A lot of people bought Thunder as their first M3. They were everywhere. Thunder is extremely powerful without protection against it. It would surpass a lot of turrets on the mid field. Currently Ricochet dominates there and even those dumb Twins. Protection modules can make an M4 feel like an M0. With Thunder, it feels like you're using Smoky but with a stupid slow reload and some tiny little critter-denting splash damage. Protections against high damage per shot turrets are the most effective. Magnums, Railers and Shafts are nothing against 50% It would be a good move to enable nitro and run away from those guys. Unless you're a Thunder that is.. you'll run straight into another enemy with 30-50% protection.

  10. Thank you for the answers. I did not knew that battle moderators deal with these things now. I also vagualy knew that more people had to vote for it to work but I wasn't sure. Now that I know how it works, I'll not consider using the vote system but abandon the match instead. Thank you on the info about the forum reporting. It's been awhile since I dealed with sabotage. I've taken a screenshot of both of your answers.

  13. Awesome topic, I don't get why you call it cringy but I guess that's just me. I can relate to most of the things that happened to you. Pokémon was a huge hit here aswell. Especially the pokémon cards. Ahh I remember Return to castle Wolfenstein when my brother was playing it. There was an end-boss zombie dude in it; haha man I had nightmares for weeks. We played GTA San Andreas in real life in the woods with home made guns made from pvc pipes and wood. :lol: Have you played with the N64 aswell? You must have.. Super Mario 64 and Super Smash Bros make for an unforgettable experience with friends on the couch.

    I agree, that makes sense. What kind of penalty where you thinking of? I thought of a 'battles forfeited' statistic for everyone to view on someone's profile. Perhaps a penalty wouldn't be neccesary when loyal players get awarded instead. ---- The game shouldn't tamper with Legacy modules, they're called Legacy modules for a reason.

    A penalty makes sense. It's the ease of leaving battles that account for a blowout match aswell. On the other hand, no one wants to grind their way trough the end on a losing team, only to get a miserable reward. Funds on losing team should be recalculated if the penalty feature comes in.

    That really suprised me aswell, in a good way! --- Hopefully the map variety will increase on PRO battles aswell after players come in contact with the rare maps from matchmaking.

    Matchmaking, Missions and Non-Buyers

    Shaft is a pretty specialized turret and not so versatile at first glance... however; those arcade shots, man I am still amazed how much damage I can deal with them. It's like Thunder's damage only without splash damage, not to forget that Shaft's protection paints are less frequent than Thunder. I believe niche turrets will still be powerful after matchmaking. What might be unsuitable for that specific map will pay itself off in fewer protections. I think it'll pay off when you can get around a turret's quirks and make it work in the stupidist map choices; although to some extent. :lol: Like you said, the general situation will be less Shafts, that's what I think aswell. One needs to put work and dedication into finding those quirks. The niche is there to exploit though. Ah yeah, remember when microupgrades were introduced? At that moment you could upgrade specific parameters. That was the main reason why they designed them in the first place; to upgrade the parameter you liked and that suited your gamestyle. And then they decided to simplify everything and let players upgrade all parameters with each step. What's the whole point of Microupgrades now? I don't see it... Current microupgrades add nothing but unnecesary difficulty to reach top items. They will test your patience and crystals are easily wasted during microupgrading. If drones will be have the same concept then yes; yet another way to invest crystals. You're never done. :lol: ---- On the other hand; It's not a bad strategy at all... the game would become pretty boring when everyone could get peak performance items with no room for more progression. This is what keeps players playing games I suppose.
