I disagree about Iran, but some maps are definitely quite bad. JGR in PRO battles has definitely been suggested, and developers are aware.

Possibly. But just letting you know that so far you're basically one of the only players below WO-1 who actively uses the forum. It will be faster for you to play a few games and rank up to gain full forum permissions. You need just 13 300 more EXP.

How much better- or worse- would the game be if there were no supplies.
Maf replied to CommanderTFR2346 in Archive
Why would you shoot someone with 50% protection? If I see an enemy with 50% and double armour, I ignore them and search for a different target. The only time I might shoot them is if they're carrying the flag (and no other teammates are nearby) or they are in the way and I absolutely have to get rid of them. PRO battles are different. They are generally played by more experienced players, who are bored of typical public battles and want to experience gameplay on a more advanced level. So teamwork is much better in PRO, which is why these battles are somewhat popular. It wont be the same if you simply disable supplies in MM battles. Tanki supplies may not require as much skill as similar features in other games, but it's not even an argument that they do add more skill versus not having them at all. Someone who always activates DD from spawn without thinking will always do worse in battle than someone who evaluates the situation and times the use of supplies to make the most out of them, since in 30 seconds you often barely make it to the enemy base. -

Yes, it's called highest K/D. The current record is 999 K/D, i.e. 999 kills and 1 death. Least deaths on its own isn't a record because it's not interesting. It's easy to hide during a whole battle and end up with zero deaths.

Well, you can judge for yourself. The list of completed ideas is here: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&search_tags=Completed&search_app=forums

Continuing the tradition of annual I&S reports, here's the data to summarise what's been happening in this section over the past year :) May 2018 to May 2019: Number of ideas approved and marked as "valid": 300 Number of ideas declined: 427 Number of duplicate ideas merged: 764 (approx.) Number of invalid topics locked: 87 Number of topics hidden without approval: 180 (approx.) Number of ideas forwarded to developers: 273 Number of ideas implemented in the game: 97 Total number of idea topics submitted by players and processed by moderators: 1550 (on average 4.2 per day) Previous reports: Obviously less total ideas this year compared to before, but that's hardly surprising. A lot more completed ideas though, so that's nice.

You're right, but changing the already slightly different stats to be almost identical would do no good.
-
It's published now.
-
That would make it almost identical to Hunter, minus the handling and the OD.

If there's an additional fee for it and the items being transferred are only cosmetic, then I suppose there's nothing but benefit from this idea. However, the fee needs to be fairly substantial, otherwise you could, for example, farm containers on multiple accounts, open them, get a bunch of cosmetics and then transfer them all to your main account. Seems like the return on this investment would be quite low for developers, so it's unlikely this will be added.
-
It doesn't have to, I just think it's a cool mechanic and that it should stay.
-
I agree, the delay should be shorter. But it can be timed well by the Hunter, or countered by the enemy. A couple times I recall seeing a Hunter start to activate the OD and I turned around and killed them, but it's not often that I'm able to pull it off within a second.

There's no way to represent a real tesseract visually, since it's impossible for us to see and interpret four dimensions. So Tanki's version of a tesseract is just their artistic version of it.
-
Seems OP. Hunter already does enough and can be extremely powerful is used well, imho.

The OD sharing mechanic is actually quite interesting, especially when you have a coordinated team. I just wish it would give you EXP or battle points, like for every tank in range of your OD you get 5 battle points. Your idea sounds decent, but instead of replacing the OD sharing mechanic with it, it should be added to DM modes where there's no sharing in the first place.

Running a server requires funding. If the weekly/monthly fees would not get paid, the servers would shut down once the paid-for time has run out. Tanki isn't a thing you can just pay for once to buy. It requires constant funding in order to be maintained. And we're not talking about any sum that a typical "big buyer" could afford. A well established game with this many active players would probably be worth millions.

Some take longer to process than others, due to requiring additional checks. Please be patient :)

Absolutely not! Hornet's overdrive is definitely one of the most skill-dependent ones, since you have to be very careful to make the most out of it, i.e. shoot a lot of enemies without being killed. In the right hands it can be extremely powerful, and with perfect conditions one can keep using it non-stop, since by the time the effect ends the OD has already charged again. Adding unlimited range to the list of bonuses is much more than "just a small buff".

The system is in place to prevent players using disposable low rank accounts to break rules on the forum, like spam a bunch of topics. Limiting their permissions helps avoid that. In the majority of cases, players discover the forum only once they're way past the WO-1 rank, so they come here already having full permissions. You're a rare exception, so unfortunately you have to bear with it a bit longer, until you rank up one more time.

Premium already gives double the amount of stars, so it's the same thing. It doesn't have to be EXP. Could be battle score instead. For the record, I'm against having that daily mission and I asked devs multiple times to remove it. But at least now you don't have to actually collect the boxes and can instead use your own supplies, which counts towards the mission. On higher ranks this completely solved any potential sabotage problems from that mission.
-
The concept still feels practically identical - complete one big task and get a cool reward. Only challenges are a bit more interesting than just one massive mission that requires hours of grinding.

He submitted it via PM. If Boris submits it too, I will update.
