  1. Because stars are as close as we can get to actual skill-based, non-biased tasks. If the task is to get kills, like with the early "crazy weekends", then campers and high damage turrets will have an advantage, while for Isidas and attackers the task will be much harder. But since stars are based on score, it becomes more even for all. Picking up boxes is bad for gameplay, since it encourages sabotage.
  2. Alright, I just tested it and it's true. Idea marked valid.
  3. Guys, I don't mind a few unrelated comments, but please try to stay on topic. For conversations on other topics please use PM, or post in the relevant thread: What to buy? Which is better?
  4. Jeez, don't just brute-force it and check every topic! If you ever want to find a specific topic (in I&S, or anywhere on the forum), use the search feature. Unfortunately it's semi-broken and will only show posts and topics made earlier than February 2018, but if you search by specific tag, all topics with that tag show up. I almost always use tags to search for I&S topics, unless I remember the exact title of a certain topic, in which case I search by title.
  5. Yeah, but that one's for voice, which is a lot more complicated to implement. This is just a text or image-based communication, for which most of the functionality already exists within the game.
  6. Valid Great concept. It's a common idea that a lot of other games have, and I swear we had it on this forum before. If anyone finds a duplicate, I'd appreciate if you link it.
  7. Valid For flags and balls we already have special indicators on the map, regardless of Hornet's overdrive. But I like the idea of highlighting dangerous enemies.
  8. Earn 1750 stars, reward - XT skin How is your idea different from challenges, besides having requirements which are not stars?
  9. What if you don't have that turret, or the turret is badly upgraded and would be terrible to use in battle? It's bad enough to have to play in game modes you dislike, but having to use equipment you hate is even worse.
  10. They don't have to do anything. They reserve the right to change and remove whatever they want without compensating players. Besides, if you were using supplies already and your supplies suddenly become unlimited, you don't lose anything. And demanding compensation doesn't make sense. Think of a real life example: if you buy something from a shop and on the next day there's a promotional event where that item is given away for free (or with a massive discount), you don't just go into the shop to demand your money back, do you?
  11. I think it would make overdrives extremely OP. For example, Dictator's supply overdrive is pretty basic now since everyone uses supplies anyway, but without supplies, a tank that deals double damage, has double armor and moves faster would be insanely powerful. Without overdrives AND supplies the game would just be boring, especially in modes like RGB and CTF. If you have two skilled teams who can do actual coordinated teamwork, like in some PRO battle, the game would still be fun. But in Matchmaking games where it's basically every man for himself and teamwork is very limited, capturing a flag without supplies would be practically impossible. Most games would end with a score of 0-0. As a feature, supplies are actually a cool gameplay mechanic that adds a new layer of skill requirement to the game, such as managing cooldowns and figuring out the best timing. If it weren't for them being purchasable consumables, they would only make the game better. So if it were up to me, I'd definitely make supplies free and unlimited, as opposed to removing them completely.
  12. I think Wasp's bomb is still the worst overdrive out of all of them. The removal of self-damage was a nice improvement, but it's still not enough. It should definitely stay.
  13. Drones are ridiculously expensive to buy and upgrade, and the rate at which they spend batteries is insane. Furthermore, the rate is the same regardless of the drone's MU level, so if you want to get the most out of your batteries, you need to spend at least a million fully upgrading your drone. This is not something a WO-4 will be able to do anytime soon, so for him getting batteries from missions is useless. Drones are almost exclusively for buyers and high tier legends who lave literally nothing else to spend crystals on. Taking myself as an example, I probably wouldn't even consider buying and upgrading drones if I didn't already have everything else fully upgraded.

    Tanki World Records

We only have one record called "biggest multi-kill", for which the value is currently 27. If you can prove that the screenshot you took is from a standard battle (not set-up in a private match), then we could consider adding it as a new record. Otherwise, in order to beat it you have to gather a lot of people and kill more than 27 tanks at once.
  15. I understand your frustration, but just save up the batteries for now. Eventually you'll be able to buy and upgrade drones, and at that point the batteries will come in really useful.

    Tanki World Records

That file/folder is private. We can't access it.
  17. Yeah, happens... It's a good idea though. By the way, if you plan on posting an idea with a lot of detail like how you did here, you can ask me in PM beforehand so that I'll tell you if it's a duplicate, or will get declined, etc., so that you don't have to waste so much effort.

    "Selling" M1

Hello It's impossible to sell or downgrade items. Once you upgrade it, there's no going back. Just make sure to keep your cat away from the keyboard and never share your account with anyone (even close friends or family) to avoid them doing things you may not like. If you have any more questions, please use the Q&A topic. Closed.
  19. Obviously, but the reward will be so small that it won't be worth the sabotage.
