Teamwork and cooperation via chat was definitely more common in "the good old days", and while the merging of the servers and creation of a language barrier is definitely one of the reasons for less communication in battle chat, I don't think it's the main reason for it. Gameplay simply became more dynamic, with respawn times and total battle times becoming shorter. Since previously battles would often last around 30 minutes, there was always time to stop and discuss strategy. Nowadays, you are much better off playing actively, than wasting precious seconds trying to use the chat for tactical discussion. That being said I would still very much like to have some kind of easy communication system, such as key shortcuts to tell people to defend, to attack, meet the flag carrier, etc.

It's not about having a deep meaning or a cool word - it's about having a short, neat and easily memorable name. To me, and to a lot of other people such names are the perfect choice to be respected and recognised. Due to the fact that nicknames get taken, shorter names that have no numbers, replaced letters, sound good and mean something are hard to come by. And formatting it like a real name (capital letter followed by lowercase) is neat. To be fair, a lot of gang nicknames and army nicknames also seem random at first. Mine is pretty simple - I used to be Mafioso, but I didn't want to be associated with a criminal organization when I became admin, and everyone called me Maf anyway, so...

Striker has a very big learning curve, but it's extremely powerful once you get used to it. The last thing it needs is another buff.

You have way too many items. At this point if you want to continue upgrading without investing actual money, you have to pick a single combo and upgrade that to M4, then use it to earn more crystals to upgrade the rest of your garage. I'd strongly recommend not to go for Dictator, Viking, Vulcan or Thunder, but that's just my personal preference and everyone's play style is different.

I don't know if it counts, but my K/D has gone up from 1.33 in 2015 (when Ratings were added and I was Fieldmarshal) up to 1.61 now. I get a K/D of over 2 in almost every battle, so I feel like once you build up a good enough garage and become better at the game it becomes quite easy to increase your K/D. Not that K/D matters when it comes to measuring your skill. A Wasp attacker that has a K/D of 0.5 but captures 3 flags is far better for the team than a camping Mammoth with a K/D of 10+

I've never seen that kind of pop-up before. Obviously I wouldn't get them on my account since I have no kits available, but this is the first time I even see a picture of it. Also, funny how the kit says it includes the old protection modules, which is what the arrows are pointing out. But besides that, it's a pretty cool promo design. I guess the art team has been busy :D

Topic merged Yes, helpers are allowed. The only requirements are that you must be the one to capture the flag and the game must be a standard Matchmaking battle. You can also submit a group record where you and your friends capture 7 flags/goals, in which case it doesn't matter who captures/scores and the record will be added to the "group records" section.

Topic merged I feel the opposite - the benefits outweigh the drawnacks. Every single day in battle I face the same issue - do I talk to someone in English or Russian? If I could just press Tab or click on their name to check their nationality, it would be much easier to communicate.

I'd also like "number of times killed juggernaut" and "time spent as juggernaut".

I love the garage descriptions, so this is a fun topic to discuss. Most fearsome paint I have is probably Holiday Lights: "Those who go into battle with colourful lights are the most feared on the battlefield. Or so we are told" :ph34r: P.S. I like it how descriptions of Traceur and Red Suit still mention protective paints: Traceur has "no defensive attributes" and Red Suit "provides excellent protection against Vulcan and Isida" :D

Awesome, although it will only be accepted for the first record. That record was specifically added for this kind of scenario - where you buy a ton of gold boxes and drop them all for yourself at once in a single battle. The rest of the records much be done in normal, or at least semi-normal battles. Basically, there have to be other players in the battle, who you must fight to take the gold boxes. The current record only has a screenshot of ratings, but that's because it was made on a low rank account, where the gold box supply is not even available. If you want to set that record on a higher ranked account, you have to provide a screenshot of every gold box taken.

Don't forget that the gear score displayed is what's currently equipped, not the highest potential gear score owned by the player. I corrected mine to 9949, just for you :) And yeah, my bad - I thought I had 9999, but my shot colour alts are separate from my XT turrets. Anyway, plenty of people already have XT M4 turret + hull, 3 full MU modules, a legendary paint and 300 of each supply. It's only a matter of time before a bunch of people find shot colours in containers and MU at least one drone to 20/20.
