Isida was OP. And it was OP precisely because of the self-healing. Dozens of players complained about it and developers took that into account, making appropriate changes. The update isn't out yet so please don't jump to conclusions about how Isida will perform after the balance changes.
-
We'll see. The goal it to have good balance. No one really knows what will actually happen since game balance is so unpredictable.
-
Equipment isn't getting nerfed to make it weaker, it's nerfed to make it more balanced and equal to all others.
-
The main reason for this is to prevent equipment changing wars in small battles. When there are around 8 or less players in a game, people keep going into the garage to adjust their equipment to the enemy and the enemy in turn adjusts to be better suited against their opponent. As a result most players spend ages in the garage trying to pick the perfect module for the occasion and not much actual battle is happening. Not to mention that some players are basically sabotaging their team by sitting in the garage and not playing.
-
But then the map won't even be the size of a room. A single table at most. Anyway, it's a good idea but won't be implemented for a long time since doing this will require the TO artists to create a whole new collection of textures, rather than just assemble a new map from the existing ones.

Topic merged Not really possible at the moment due to the fact that large maps take too long to load and will lag a lot.

Not for me. Check again to see if the issue was fixed.

What do you mean? If it's a non-XP battle, then obviously any combination is allowed (as long as it's the highest grade you have).
-
Because all turrets get only x2 damage from DD, while Isida also basically gets x2 armor due to doubled rate of healing. So combined with DA, that's x4 armor and x2 damage. Very OP.

Nothing. The closed beta testing is now over and if you want to play Tanki X, you simply need to register a new account and download the game. If you want to, you can use your current name from Tanki Online if it hasn't been taken, or choose any other available name. Please ask any further questions in the Q&A topic and after you create your Tanki X account, use that account to log in and ask questions on the Tanki X forum. Closed.

Topic merged Railgun's damage will be reduced in an upcoming update, so that will remove its ability to one-shot unprotected hulls.

Too bad :D Time to practice and work up some actual skill in this game, rather than relying on the overpowered stats of the turret.

Topic merged The video you posted may be somewhat true, but it contains a lot of misleading points. First of all, decrease of Tanki Online's popularity based on the Google Trends graphs. Even though I can't disagree with the fact that the number of searches is clearly decreasing, I have to argue about whether it was solely because of only bad updates in the game. Here's the same graph, only this tome also compared to TO's main competitor - World of Tanks: As you can see, both games started drastically losing popularity after the same date (and with a very similar pattern) - December 2014. This was probably caused by another similar game being released on the market, resulting in many players being distracted and drawn away by it. Or maybe tank games are simply going out of fashion. Whatever the case it, it clearly isn't the standard "Tanki Online sucks now, I'm leaving to WoT!", because if that was the case, WoT's graph would not be going down in the same manner. The second thing I want to point out is the fact that the only reason Tanki Online isn't being advertised is because it's an outdated game, so Developers instead spend their marketing funds on Tanki X, because it's a new installment that has a lot of potential for future improvements. What's the point of attracting players to TO, when TX has much more modern graphics and will most likely have more features than TO in a few years?

Topic merged You realise that this "nerf" is meant to bring Isida on the same level as other turrets, right? Hence the "balance". By "compensating" for the nerf you are just making Isida more powerful again and destroying the whole purpose of reducing Isida's healing in the first place. In my opinion Isida will be fine after the update. This change would simply make it more annoying for players trying to fight against Isida.

Look, I'm pretty sure even developers themselves want to add this game mode to Tanki Online permanently, but it's just not on their priority list right now and no amount of player requests will change that. I'm keeping this topic open so that you can still try to do what you wanted, but I'm telling you that this is almost certainly a pointless waste of time.

Assault mode was very popular during the holidays and developers are fully aware that players want to have it back in the game as a permanent game mode. Cedric doesn't have any power when it comes to deciding what gets added to the game, so there is no point trying to bring this to his attention. The game mode was removed for reworking (as it was very unbalanced and had certain other issues), but at the moment there are no plans to bring it back in the near future.

The problem is that you're a relatively new player, so (I assume) the whole concept of format battles and the different names for stuff isn't too familiar to you and therefore you can still easily accept changes. But all the "veteran" players who have been calling this format XP/BP for years now will be upset and we'll get another wave of "tanki is dying, I'm leaving forever!" comments if the current name is changed.
