    I don't have any official info, so my statements are just a mix of speculation and educational guessing. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if the current Ultra skins become the new default skins, and the Ultra series of skins will be completely removed, meaning that the current Ultra skins are like an early access thing, similar to what was done with Hopper. Alternatively, the skins may be improved and given new cool features, such as a glow effect, particles, moving elements, etc., thus keeping them different and better than the default skins (though I feel like that would be a missed monetisation opportunity). As for XT and Prime, I assume those will be updated as well. I have no idea how Prime will be different from Ultra. Personally, I think Prime skins are just an overrated alternative to default skins, with a bit of yellow "lights". I agree with what you said about Demonic skins. It's entirely possible that there will be a number of standalone skins made for certain themes or events. Tanki X had a similar thing where there were a few unique skin sets for just one equipment combo each, such as "Steampunk" for Mammoth Twins (celebrating launch on Steam), "Frozen" for Wasp Freeze (winter holidays), "Space" for Dictator Thunder (cosmonautics day), and whatever else they made.

    You can't get Hopper hull in any containers. You can only get the Hopper XT skin in Ultra containers, but the tank itself you must buy and upgrade in the garage with crystals.

    That's because many players are using less upgraded Hoppers in Legend-level battles. I think after a few days people will change back to normal hulls, and in a few months we'll have mostly fully upgraded Hoppers appearing in battles.

    Yes, exactly. There's also the issue of being able to instantly force players to drop flags and balls, as opposed to doint it with a 1.1 second delay. The overdrive also charges way too quickly — scoring a single goal already gives you 70% charge, and there appears to be no cooldown on how soon you can start earning OD charge points, meaning you can jump, score a goal, get a couple kills and be ready to jump again literally seconds later. On top of that, it has the same exploit that Ares used to have. If you jump and die soon after, you can retain your OD charge almost completely, so you can jump up towards a falling gold box, catch it, die instantly, and have OD ready again when you respawn. This is a problem.

    I get those two confused. Yes, the stun should be removed. But since you mentioned it, EMP Gauss definitely needs a nerf too. When I join a battle and the first thing I have to do is check Tab specifically for any EMP alts — that is not normal.

    It recharges at least as fast as Ares, if not faster. In fact, the recharge rate is quite broken (OP) in many ways, for example when you use the overdrive and score a goal, you'll instantly have 70% of the overdrive ready again. A powerful ability like that shouldn't be possible to use so often. 4-5 times per battle should be the norm. I also think that the EMP effect should be removed. It's way too powerful.

    The event mode that was available a couple weeks ago had special settings where the overdrive recharged extremely fast. That was intentional for that particular mode, but the recharge rate is much lower in normal battles in order to keep it balanced.
  12. Mouse controls master race ? For real though, I used arrow keys and ZXC ever since I started playing, but as soon as Ares came out I switched to WASD and mouse. Now using the same with Hopper. But I switch back to arrow keys and no mouse whenever I use a non-hover hull. Same. Most of the laptops I owned had pretty bad key ghosting on arrow keys, so I either assigned tank controls to the number pad, or used something like IJKL or OKL;

    There is no specific schedule for releasing new turrets and hulls. 9 turrets and 7 hulls were made between 2009 and 2011, but then only 2 more turrets came in 2015, and two more in 2017. We only got Gauss last year, while Ares and Hopper were added this year within a couple months of one another, after being in development for a very long time. Point is, there is no schedule for new equipment releases, so just follow the V-log and news, and watch for relevant announcements. One of the recent V-logs teased a "Tesla" turret, so that's something to look forward to, although there is no definite release date for it.

    The skins situation is indeed quite confusing. However, I'm not sure why you decided to focus specifically on Wasp, sbecause there's actually a total of 10 turrets and hulls (out of 23), which only have an XT skin at the moment. In case of Viking, Thunder, Railgun and Hornet the reason is pretty simple - they got the most skins because they're the most popular equipment, so they provide highest potential for monetisation. In case of Gauss, Ares and Hopper, I suppose the reason is because it's the newest equipment, so the novelty and hype surrounding it will increase the amount of sales of their skins. Something worth nothing about Ares and Hopper, by the way, is that their default skins are basically Ultra, while the XT skins are a combination of Ultra and XT. This is because developers eventually plan to upgrade all existing skins to Ultra free of charge, in order to make the game look more appealing. From now on every skin will be a highly detailed "Ultra" version, even if it won't be explicitly labled as such. One thing that still makes me wonder is the Demonic skins series. Firebird was the only one to get that skin 3 years ago, and there have been 2 Halloweens and many various events since then, yet Firebird remains the only equipment to have a skin from that series. Anyway, I suppose that in the near future we can expect old skins to be upgraded to Ultra, and perhaps various turrets and hulls will also get new Prime or other types of skins. I have no idea how long it will take for that to happen though.

    I guess that's fair enough. You get 21 missions a week, so doing 15 of them means just completing all tier 1 and tier 2 missions plus one from tier 3. Alternatively, you could, for example, complete all easy missions on the day you get them, but then stretch 5 medium missions over 7 days (i.e. complete 2 of them over the course of 2 days each), and 3 hard missions with 2-3 days to complere each one. A little bit harder overall, but I suppose it puts less pressure on you if you have one or two days in the week where there's just no time to do missions at all.

    Would you say that for someone starting an account today, the best strategy is to use a single combo and brute-force your way to Legend as fast as possible (within a month, perhaps?), then focus on expanding the garage?

  19. Players won't like an overdrive that's only utilitarian. For the same reason Hopper burns and disables enemies instead of simply jumping. I read the rest of your post and you do make some valid arguments, but there's a lot of factors to take into account for balancing such an ability. So it's rather pointless to discuss until there are actual plant to implement this hull into the game.

    Finally a decently structured poll about the migration process. I already voiced my personal opinion in other topics, but I'll say again that I've been playing HTML5 since March and I'm satisfied with its performance. It's far from perfect, but to me it was already better even before devs started imposing various restrictions in Flash. The HTML5 issues I'm currently not happy with include: Inability to check missions in-game Somewhat confusing and illogical interface (only some elements, otherwise it's mostly fine) Regular crashes — not as bad as Flash, but still annoying Slower interface Poor battle interface — battle chat and flag indicators Broken Shaft scope controls Also would be nice to have all missing features added, i.e. gifts.
  21. There's definitely room for new hulls ? The Phantom OD is an interesting concept, but the details are definitely questionable. If it were up to me, I'd make the OD last about 5-8 seconds and disable nearby tanks in a short range (like Hopper). It will be visible to Hornet's OD, and will be vunlerable to all damage-dealing ODs, but the only way to actually disable invisibility is with Hunter, unless you have EMP immunity.

  24. I assume some research went into this and developers know that this method will retain the maximum percentage of the audience. If for whatever reason you don't want to migrate to HTML5 today, then you might as well just leave the game and check back after a few months to see if the HTML5 version has been improved enough for you to play in it.
