I had this 'non-posting' issue just now - it also says 'You cannot reply to this topic' in the top-right as well as failing to show the ranks for a lot of posters. Fortunately it resolved itself after a few minutes. Was scared I'd been banned for a bit! P.S. My Internet connection is also perfectly stable and has quite high upload/download speeds, low ping etc.

I actually don't have a lifeguarding job at the moment even though I've completed the training, passed the fitness/practical/theory​ tests and am qualified to work as one... Don't mean to be pessimistic, but it's probably a good idea to put your situation into context... After 7 months, if she does indeed like you back then don't you think she'd be a bit fed up, frustrated or sad about the lack of much progress, just as you seem to be in some of your posts here? Do you even talk to her? And no, I don't just mean like a surface-level chat every so often ('hi how are you'), but actual conversation on a regular basis as a good friend... Relationships can often start without such a connection being formed but usually that happens quickly, and the strongest and most enduring relationships tend to last because a couple can connect with each other as the closest of friends. Despite stigma surrounding being 'friendzoned', forming a friendship is really the best way to go to find if there's any basis for your initial crush. Heh. If you haven't done the above, then I'm sorry to say that it's extremely likely that your feelings towards her aren't mutual in that way. I understand your situation is different to Western culture, but where love is concerned, it would generally be safe bet to conclude that two people who have feelings for one another wouldn't hang around to at least try to properly talk to one another. It's human nature not to want to wait if it's possible to do otherwise, regardless of the surrounding culture. So assuming no real conversation has happened between you two (correct me if I'm wrong), it's likely that your love is unrequited. If I were you, I'd attempt to (finally) try and establish at least some sort of connection with her. And you shouldn't wait that much longer to at least do that (no pressure). But in the end, if you do end up gathering the courage to tell her your feelings for her and you get rejected, you definitely won't lose anything in the long-term - since your crush for her, without any proper logical grounding, really is just a crush.

Like others here I've messed around with Javascript before as part of programming in HTML, but only on occasion so far... Other languages I use when programming include BBC Basic (probably my favourite) and Python.

This is actually quite good - your English grammar and stuff could do with some work, but you can improve that with practice and experience. But the poem itself is pretty solid in terms of its structure (e.g. the syllables work), which is impressive considering poems aren't all that easy to write well. Nice one!
