Exactly. I can afford to buy and as you say, all my hulls and turrets are m4 and I have a bunch of legacy modules that are all fully upgraded too with paints coming out my ears! I'm glad you noticed this because the CM didn't. Except it wasn't misleading. You're right, I am sticking up for community and the game because I see them being slowly strangled and I don't see why I should let them go down without a fight. The time for sugarcoating words has long gone and I don't see why I should have to dance around what it is we want to say, prefacing any criticism with an obligatory nice comment first, then apologising for any critical remarks after as we back out of the door cowering and cringing with tails between our legs.

If you were truly monitoring the situation fully for genuine gaming, fairness and balance reasons and not just for cold hard cash, you'd monitor who bought what and when. That way, when you come out 6 weeks later and say, "Tankers, we have monitored the situation closely and listened to your feedback. We are going to reduce the cost by x,000 crystals. In the next server update, those tankers we initially overcharged will receive the difference in cost..." Unfairness is a theme that runs right though Tanki Online and given enough time I could write a book on it. You can either make excuses for it or you can take this feedback on-board and try to address the failings players like me highlight. Don't get me wrong, I want this game to succeed just as much as you do but sometimes I feel like reporting you lot for sabotage! At times, it's almost as if you want this game to fail, honestly!

The shop update should not have been lauded and paraded in the way it was. It deserves a footnote and no more. It's analogous to a supermarket putting balloons out because they got new cash registers. Customers don't care about new cash registers. What customers want is fairness, not new ways to rip them off.

True, but most of the resistances in the legacy modules cannot be upgraded to 50% which makes the majority of the legacy modules practically worthless when comparing them to the newer modules. Anyone with these sub-standard modules have been robbed in my opinion. Players have managed their garages for years throughout their careers, spent crystals in the thousands and millions even, buying paints they thought were the best available only to find they've been downgraded overnight without any sorry or compensation. But hey, tanki have always reserved the right to screw us over so that's okay then!

You're easily pleased if you consider that a victory. 200 pages and all we get is a hotkey change. They say they listen and that's because it's impossible not to. Nobody says they have to act on any feedback. They act when they want to and because they want to, not because we want them to. They have too much past form and their behaviour pattern is not changing. Argue with me if you like but only actions can prove me wrong. The pattern goes something like this They'll purposefully overprice things knowing full well that we will complain Buyers still buy them at their hugely inflated release prices Then they lower prices when the graphs and reports say it's time to do so, maximising $$$, but pretending to act in our interests. Same goes for tweaking hulls or turrets Make them overpowered initially Buyers buy them Other players complain When the front-line buyers dry up, nerf the items saying something like, "we monitored the situation closely and listened to your feedback..." The front-line buyers complain they just wasted 500k crystals on item and the mods say #eula - in your faces suckers! As I say, tanki has too much past form so none of this should come as a surprise to us anymore. It's a system that has worked so well for them over the years. There is no direct proof aliens exist but statistics and probability says we're not the only sentient life in the universe. Anybody believing that we are alone do not have the slightest understanding of the sheer size of the universe and the number of planets it contains capable of supporting life. The Kepler telescope is currently looking for planets in a tiny fraction of the sky and has already found about 5,000 objects that are in the habitable zone of their host stars (or Suns). By extrapolation, we could conservatively estimate that there are in the Milky Way alone, there are hundreds of millions of planets having Earth-like orbits around their Suns. Given the fact the Milky Way is just one galaxy out of billions it seems pretty improbable for us to be the only ones. If we are the only ones then it seems even more important that we all stop fighting and come together to put pressure on the devs to combat lag and mults! :ph34r:

My thoughts on the long awaited shop update: Well I like the two crystals on the left and the word Shop. The capital S really does it for me and that bronze background is simply to die for! It hasn't done a whole lot to fix lag or combat mult-like behaviour but we can't have everything can we. We mustn't hurry game designers because they have enough to do like the '6' key and the reclamation of old paints.

Well I think it's unfair to those of us who upgraded 3-way paints before that don't go to 50%. I spent loads of paints like savanna because that was the best available for that combination. Now someone can buy a new trio module and make it better than Savanna while I'm left with a reject legacy module. Wholly unfair if you ask me. They should have just converted legacy paints into the new style modules and that way anyone can buy them and max them out. With regard to 4 way paints, the answer is simple, just don't allow 50% max resistances. 38%-40% max perhaps. Conversion is the key. This isn't why I've stopped playing. I've stopped playing because I can no longer assess the enemies resistances which then allows me to select the best turret. That was part of the appeal of this game and now it's gone. The players complaining, like myself, are actually wishing for more players. We wish for a successful game but our frustrations are borne out from tanki's inability to deliver it. They basically keep making bad decisions that don't address the real problems this game suffers from. Instead of fixing lag or coming down hard on mult-like sabotage, they bring out buggy updates that nobody cares about and before those bugs are fixed, more buggy updates are released. What map would you like? Have you played them all? I've only played 20% of them if I'm being honest.
