I'm not sure if I like this idea. There are interesting aspects in it but also aspects I don't like. My major concern is that Tanki might turn into a cartoonish game. I wouldn't like something like that. I don't say it's not good, I only say it's not appreciated by me. What I find interesting is the possibility to exchange simple info about the battle with teammates. For example I often wanted to inform my team that an enemy has slipped from behind but I can't waste time to write it in the chat box as every second counts. But seeing a cartoonish face above the tanks around me... no thanks. Maybe that's so because to me, Tanki is more of a drone combat than a super Mario game... but that's personal, I don't expect 14 yo players agree with me.. So, I ask you Hazel-Rah, do you want* to turn Tanki more cartoonish? *think / wonder etc..

Friendly advice. Don't invest in MUing your tank before reach M3. It's too costy. I know, life is a b_tch without drugs, but keep trying to avoid tougher tanks and make your way slowly towards the top, gathering crystals for upgrading your tank. -

The more I play, the more I'm getting sure that this is a definite cripple for hornet and wasp. I don't like slow hulls. If I had to play slow Tanki, I would play WoT. I think I'll take the weekend off, it'll be better for everyone.. -
Maybe you're right. However, social isolation of mults and many people accepting the concept of fair play won't hurt, don't you agree?

Did Semyon Kirov said anything about "modification"? This forum is for suggestions how this game can be improved. Do you object that fair play can improve the game? Please, keep to constructive criticism.

Mults and any form of misuse of the game starts from individuals' will to win no matter how. BUT this lack of self control leads to a lowering of the moral and cultural level of the game. What most of the mults fail to realise is that the most deep satisfaction one can get from a game is not that of beating everyone else, but that of feeling the co-players' respect and friendship. In the game, in every battle, someone will always win and all the others won't. Does this mean that only the winner is to feel joy? Certainly not. Team work is satisfactory, co-operation is satisfactory, team win is more satisfactory than a personal score. Sometimes, even losing as a team can make you feel better than winning as an individual. To my experience (not only from this game but from my whole life), fair play is the best tactic for a better tomorrow. Multing, antagonizing teammates, hacking, will only accomplish personal score, but personal achievement is not what one really wants. What everybody really wants, is to feel that they belong, that they are accepted and respected. And that is best accomplished by fair play. So, please, friends, turn your back to cheating, and enjoy your sincere effort that will make you - first of all the others - respect yourself. Besides, that's what this game is about; becoming a better player with the help of others. -

And one last remark. Why should different hulls sell the same? Balance is what makes every player of equal skill play their favorite hull and be able to meet every other hull in battle. It's not selling equally all the existing hulls. The distribution of different hulls' share in sales is due to different tastes about speed and playstyle, it doesn't mean that the less selling hull is handicapped... -

Obviously, I may be quite often wrong. As all of us. But I believe in dialog, arguments and personal experience. To my experience light hulls are mostly wanted for their speed. Do you disagree? Btw, I know there are many things regarding the game that you (as a Tanki Dev) know and I, as a simple player don't. I understand as well that many bits of info are confidential, inside info so to say, that due to commercial competition you can't share with us and I respect it. What I don't accept is when you decide to ask feedback about an issue and then ignore the feedback with little, if any reason at all. I not only play the game but I pay small amounts, that is I am a customer. When certain changes you decide affect my playing in an not pleasant way, I say it. Would you rather have me stay quiet and one morning just stop playing altogether? If you prefer, I can be that guy. In conclusion, I though that we can have a dialog (that is you, the devs and we, the players) via the forum. If I am mistaken, my apologies. -

I think there is a flaw in this line of thought. Light hulls are more popular due to their speed. Making medium hulls (and heavy ones) more tough, isn't going to make light ones less desirable. It will only harden the game for light hulls, giving advantage to the users of medium / heavy hulls in score. If you want to make people like - really like - more (than before) medium hulls, you should narrow the differences between them and light hulls, that is add armor to light hulls and add speed to medium hulls. In this perspective, AbsoluteZero is right to say that this update was "ill thought out and rash". EDIT: 1. Also, in relation to dictators, keep in mind that many players use this hull only - or used it originally - to improve the possibilities for catching a goldbox. Which, after the removal of 10k crystals drop became more important for many players. 2. Whatever you do in the future (Devs) know that if you lessen the speed of light hulls it will SERIOUSLY cause many speed lovers to abandon this game. It's not a threat but a warning. I know because speed is what keeps me here. And there are more like me. -

Why don't you guys (Devs) keep two distinct servers for special modes? One server for implementing new updates and perform all tests in real mode battles (I mean not the test server where everybody is generalisiimo etc) untill a well balanced game is accomplished, and another server for special maps only (Oldies that many players constantly ask you to return them), such as Moon silence etc. Ok, maybe forget the second, although I think it's a good idea. But the first, is good. Say, Ru 29 is for new updates, every time you want to apply a new update, you do it only for 29, see how it goes and perform possible changes, untill it's ok. Then you pass the update to all other servers. Or is it not practical for keeping both versions at the same time? I don't know game programming, maybe what I said doesn't make sense... -

Indeed, many players today used vikings, dictators and mammoths. Not me, though. As a railgunner with hornet, I can tell you that killing the opponents is more difficult now. Thus my D/L ratio during today's battles has been negatively affected. I guess, it'll take a little time to accustom myself to these new data and adjust my game relatively. -
To be frank, as a railgunner I don't really see much diference... Any improvement is hardly felt in battle.

Well, it sucks... <_< Improvement is required ASAP. All the time the siren accompanies the battle, for both sides. I guess, you should tune it a little less sensitive. :rolleyes: -

Well, I know that, that's not what I asked. I asked if, during a battle the ping of one player varies alot. Say, one moment it's a good 40 and another a bad 220 or a worse 350. And in such a case, how can we "read" the final number at the final score? Or, how can I "prove" someone to be a hacker when his ping varies within seconds...

I like your map. It's big and cool and looks like a good place to battle. I would suggest though, that the flag areas have two exits, so that one can enter via two ways.. If flag area is "blind" then it can easily becomes a trap for the defenders as well as an invinsible fort in some occasions (mammoth/firebird supported by two viking/isidas and a whatever/freeze...

Is ping generaly stable during a battle or can it be alter widely? When it is shown at the score table, will it be the average ping during the battle? Or you just think to have a current ping to estimate the possibiolity of a hacking during certain seconds?

Yea, keep making a fool of you.. :lol: Anyone that knows me knows that I 'm anything but a camper. I own only fast hulls and I move all the time. Next time don't be so hasty in coming to conclusions ;) And REALLY, try to learn to read score.....

Under normal conditions I would say "Tanki, thanks for double funds and for the 25% discount". But this is not normal conditions. Just a few days ago, many new items where presented (turret + paints for two turrets), of total cost over 3 million crystals! Soon, another item (another 4, to be exact) will be presented, they announced a new hull. So, 25% is no big deal, considering the total cost of the new products. So, all you that feel anxious to thank Tanki, consider reason and act reasonable. 25% is no big deal when the product is 3 million cost.
