If you play well with Vulcan and have a good hull for it, then I would say it is worth the buy. Otherwise, kits are good, so maybe save for one of them. Anyway, you have a while until the sales - over 2 weeks - so see how you go crystal-wise. PS Your profile shows that you will soon need an M2 turret (and hull). Twins can still survive at your rank, so there isn't really a need to quickly buy anything; you also need to rank up a bit, too. See how you go, and take whatever you prefer.

Now I am thinking that I will either get M2 Thunder only (during the sales) and survive with that, Hornet M2 and Firebird M2, OR buy a kit with a nice weapon/hull- Ranged turret (Smoky/Thunder) Medium hull that is M2 or M3 if I rank a lot (probably not heavy and definitely not light hulls, unless M3) I'll probably work with whatever is appealing/available at the time. Northerner kit looks good at the moment, but I only have 169k. There are also plenty of other kits that'll appear in... 13 days. Ah well, maybe I will rank by then.

Nice article! I have a suggestion- How should you face long-range weapons with a short-range turret on a medium/large map? The first obvious point would be to switch weapons, but what if you do not have anything better? In my case, I have Isida and Firebird m2, but nothing else worth mentioning (soon, however, I'll have Thunder m2). If I was facing a group of Railguns on such a map, how should I go about winning? I have my techniques and ways to do this, but I still think a good article could be made on it, anyway; not just for the few people like myself. All my PDs: I've also got one TD so far, and I didn't take a picture of it. It was a bad sale on Titan M1, and I tried it out when joining an obscure map that I created. No-one joined...
