You have Storm, Mammoth and Viking M1. If you were wanting Vulcan, then I'm sure you would do okay with it. Just make sure you get a medium or heavier M2 hull to pair with it. As for Rico, I'm sure you would do fine with it.

What are the chances of an M2/M3 combined kit coming out for the sales? The kit I have in mind is Bulldozer. If I can buy it during the sale, then I'll have the M3 instead of the M2 Thunder. Obviously that would be a better option, even if it isn't quite long-term (the M2 Thunder wouldn't have been). I'm sure it would be quite OP, as it'll be able to kill Hornet M2s in two shots. It would also be a really good bonus being able to have Emerald earlier on, and M2 Mammoth would be a help in smaller maps (Island, etc) along with Thunder. Everything about this kit seems good to me at the moment, except the fact that I'd be taking the one hull with absolutely no speed. I have 197k crystals at the moment, and the kit costs 203k-244k depending on the discount. I'd get 14k rank-up crystals, plus whatever I have earned after now. That'd be at least 220k, I think. If the kit appears during the sale, then I would get a larger discount, saving crystals. If not, I would have more time to save for the cost. Should I be considering this kit? It'll take out all my saved up crystals, unless it appears during the sales. If it does, then I am sure I would buy it as it'd cost over 100k only. Do people think I'll earn 27k xp before the sales? If I do, then I rank. If not, I won't be getting this kit or the rank-up money.

Thanks, makes sense. I'd agree with you unless I was playing a mid-ranged/Polygon battle, or not using Thunder at all (I may use the paint with my Firebird too). 5% isn't really much protection. Still, Cedar is cheaper, so I'm still open to both paints. Thanks, again!

The Railgun protection is good, but everything else is unnecessary, really. I want one of the above paints because of the Thunder protection. I'm planning on buying Thunder, so to avoid self-damage, I need a Thunder paint.

90 500 crystals. VS 42 500 crystals. Okay, so I wasn't quite right. They don't offer 38% protection (it's actually 32%). Also, I thought that Rustle was over 100k, but it is actually about 90k. If there is a 50% discount, then: Cedar costs 21 250, Rustle costs 45 250. So, pretending I have 200k and spend during a 50%: Thunder costs 55k, leaving 145k. If I buy Rustle, then I will have about 100k remaining. Taking Cedar instead leaves me with 124k, saving only 24k overall. I'm now starting to agree with you, as I get protection from annoying short-range turrets along with protection from myself, etc. It's a pity Rustle doesn't have Firebird protection. Anyway, could I still ask everyone's opinions, and (to Halo) how often is Rustle useful/used in higher ranks? Thanks, again :)!

Alright.. How often do you use your's? Are you sure it is worth it? I'll check the other protections again. All I know is that Cedar's main protection is the Thunder (38%) and a little bit of something else, while Rustle has exactly the same Thunder protection as Cedar with the bonus of more of the other protections. Also, when does Emerald unlock, and should I be getting that in the future? I heard that if you have Rustle, then don't go for Emerald. Thanks for your help :). PS: By the way, I joined a later-than-Brig. rank battle just before I posted my earlier post, and there were about four Thunders minimum on the enemy team. There were only 5-7 people per team.

I probably could do that, with possibly over 200k before I spend. However, I personally don't want to spend too much on paints at this time, so Cedar is probably enough (it's cheap, etc.). Since you are not attacking, Smoky would be the much better choice. Hammer has limited range, and also limited shots per reload, so it probably isn't a good mid-fielding weapon. Smoky, however, could be considered one of the best of the M2s, and is very much suited to mid-fielding, and is still able to attack/defend well. If you want another M2, then you should probably take that. However, I think you should just get used to the M2s you already have. Firebird, in my opinion, is great. As you will be able to buy M3s next rank, you should wait until then to spend your crystals/money. There isn't really any point in buying another M2 just to get rid of it ranks later.

Thanks, I'll skip Northerner; I don't like the prospect of having very little crystals anyway. I think I'll still get Thunder M2 and Cedar, as using Firebird in maps like Kungur and Skylark (for missions, especially) often starts trying my patience. I rarely use Isida now, although just that thought alone makes me think I should equip it again sometime. However, Isida is still similar to Firebird in gameplay... That's why I want Thunder. When it comes to paints, what does everyone think I should get, excluding Cedar if I get Thunder? I probably won't be getting another paint yet anyway, but it's still good to know what's best. Jaguar is my only decent-ish paint, along with In Love, sometimes (I only bought the latter because of a 70% sale, and a lack of paints in my garage in lower ranks).

Should I buy the Northerner kit right now? I don't think I should, but I can afford it. It'll make me near 100% bankrupt before the upcoming sales, and although I don't have a decent medium/heavy hull or medium/long range turret I think it would be better to just buy only Thunder, which will cost 55k (if there is a 50% sale), leaving me with at minimum 140k (more than that, as it doesn't count the crystals I will earn after right now). Should I just hold onto these crystals for later items (M3s in the far distant future), or possibly a paint? Again, Northerner kit, Thunder only and save, or a paint? I just remembered that I wanted to buy Cedar, so that costs about 22k, I think. I've got 195k right now, and will have more by the sales. Please check my profile for more info, or ask me questions.
