Well, I have to say, it was twisted (featuring warped views of the universe). You don't normally see such writings on sites like this. However, it was well made and interesting; great writing.

Thanks, everyone. I will see how far I can rank, and go from there. I'll probably buy Thunder, possibly Cedar, and possibly Hunter, depending on my rank and crystals. If there is anyone else who wouldn't mind giving me their opinion and so far hasn't, then please respond to this: I could easily make a decision now (and have almost decided on Thunder), but more opinions are better!

Thanks. That would be sticking to Firebird only, and sometimes Isida. May I ask your opinion of Railgun M2?

I just combined two posts so it is easier for people responding. Railgun wasn't really one of the best in my eyes. I didn't want it because of that reason, and a few others. Now, however, I don't mind as much about whether the turret is the best or not, because I have Firebird m2, which will last well into the M3 ranks. So, it has come down to Thunder, Railgun and (if by strange chance I happen to rank two times before Christmas) Smoky. I don't know if I would enjoy Smoky, but it is one of the better turrets. As for Thunder, I think it would be fun enough to use, but not enough damage, etc. Rail cannot kill a stock Hornet m2 (second lightest hull) in one shot, so I guess I would need practice to become competent with it, especially when you consider the reload time. I have pretty much outlined the bad points. I probably won't be getting Smoky, so it is really between the other two turrets. I don't have a long range turret and am therefore limited to short and medium maps only. I still can come first in Kungur, for instance, using Firebird alone. If I get another turret, then I can play on more maps with more ease (I hate using Firebird or Isida on Monte Carlo). I use Firebird m2 as my main turret (short range). Twins falls in the short-medium category to me, and therefore isn't what I am looking for. Any map (ones with many people, friends, or for missions), Twins isn't suitable because I want a long range turret, and I like attacking. I have 163k at this very moment, and will probably not be buying another hull until M3s (I will stay with Hornet only). Can everyone please give me their latest opinions? Please check my profile for more info. Thanks very much! :) PS: How do you get rid of the background highlight?

I like playing on any maps, really. At the moment, I don't have a long range turret and therefore am limited to short and medium maps. Any map (ones with many people, friends, or for missions), Twins isn't suitable because I want a long range turret, and I like attacking (as I said earlier).

Could more people respond to this, please?

No worries, and Minotaur kit normally tops battles at my rank (if used right). Congrats with the boar kit. Thanks, makes sense.

I personally think you have heaps; Firebird and Hammer for short range, and Thunder/Ricochet for medium/long. I'd wait for M3 turrets and hulls. All of your other turrets are good enough/better than Rail could be, so spending crystals on that may be a waste, especially since you have so many at the moment. I'd go for M3s next; only 16k xp until you rank up. Good luck.

Okay, thanks. Beforehand, I was only considering decent turrets; Railgun wasn't really one of the best. When it comes to Rail, it cannot kill a stock Hornet m2 (second lightest hull, obviously) in one shot, so I guess I would need practice to become competent with it, especially when you consider the reload time. I have pretty much outlined the bad points. I probably won't be getting Smoky, so it is really between the other two turrets. I have 163k at this very moment, and will probably not be buying another hull until M3s (Hornet only). I like attacking best. Can everyone please give me their latest opinions? Please check my profile for more info. Thanks very much! :)

So far, I've only played a Sandbox CP, and I have realised a few things. For instance, if one team is definitely better, they still win, as the have the point for most of the time. If one team is slightly better, then it doesn't show when you look at the score; the num. of points are even.

I don't have Hunter M2 or Viking M2, but both are hard to kill (Viking more than Hunter). As for kits, I guess it depends which one is out at the time. Firebird m2 is excellent- I have it now, and I can top battles, and come second when versing Brigadiers, etc. (star ranks). I'm not a fan of Railgun M2, but if you are really good with it, it works well (the same goes for other turrets). It cannot kill stock M2 Hornets with one hit alone, so you need multiple shots, which wastes time. As for Twins, it is probably one of the best M2s. When I was at a lower rank, I found it impossible to win against this turret/kit, but nowadays I am an even match with Firebird/Hornet M2s. Twins still top the battle charts. Hammer is great too; it gives a bit more range and you can one-shot-kill Hornets if you use double damage. As for Isida, I wouldn't go for it unless you want something cheap, or will be buying a better turret with it. Firebird, Twins and Hammer are all great. Everything depends on your style of play. If you are going for more than one M2, Isida is a nice secondary weapon. Otherwise, Isida alone limits your gameplay to team games (its damage isn't very good, and it is short-ranged). If you are buying a kit, then any of these are okay. If not, I'd go for Hornet M2 and a turret (preferably not Rail, but if that is your favourite, then go for it) during the upcoming sales. What you buy also depends on the maps you play on most, etc. I hope some of this helps.
