I'm not sure about that. The art style is very, very similar to the future Tanki from what I can tell, but if I'm in the wrong, let me know and I'll redact the post. The style is also pretty similar: M0 = old, 1970-80s type of tanks, M1-M2 are more advanced, M3 is futuristic. If this really is the concept art for Tanki 2.0, then it seems like they're borrowing a lot from it for the new Tanki.

The devs posted some concept art for the Unity Tanki at some point a while ago, and here is the concept for Dictator. Any comments? The M0 version looks like the old Tanki's Dictator (although more stripped-down), M1-M2 look pretty new (still reminiscent of the current Dictator), but the M3 looks absolutely terrible. That one looks FAR too much like a shoe. I think they should make the central section (everything besides the treads, basically) more angular and get rid of that gap at the front of the tread covers. Then again, they're just concepts, so hopefully Dictator will look better when the new Tanki comes.

Tundra isn't ugly at all. Sandstone and Desert look better, but it's not bad.

Catch them from behind. If you can roast them for a few seconds before they start attacking, you'll have enough of a lead in the damage race to win. If you can't do that, just use a hull that's heavier than what the Isida's using.

The boost in speed is actually quite noticeable, and is very useful. In addition, Titan still has massive health. Let's say I'm using Mammoth with Shaft. If I spawn far away from my preferred sniping spot, it's going to take a LONG time for me to reach it. During this period of time, I'm going to be constantly exposed to enemy fire, and since I'm using Shaft, I can't fight very well at close range. More often than not, I actually reach my sniping spot with less health than if I were to be using Titan. A key strength that Titan has over Mammoth is the massive pushing power. If you're using Titan to hold a vital choke point (like the ramp up to the blue team base on the right side of Silence, near the edge of the map), you can push players off while you're attacking. Mammoth doesn't nearly have the pushing power of Titan, so you're forced to only rely on your turret.

They don't mention it, but Shaft has some penetration power that increases with higher modifications. I still haven't gotten a double kill with it yet, but someday, perhaps.

Still waiting for a sale on Wasp so I can grab it M1. I'm already really close to getting the rest of my shopping list done (M1 Medium Tank kit, here I come!), but I need a M1 light hull to pair with my beloved Smoky before I start seriously taking part in battles with Lieutenants and Majors. After doing some thinking, Wasp is probably the best hull to use Smoky with. As a Smoky-Hornet, if a Firebird/Freeze/Isida gets close to you, you're pretty much finished, since you can't outrun other Hornets (unless you've MUed the speed a ton) or Wasps. With Wasp, you can backpedal quickly enough to outrun most enemies and become a troll to the enemy team thanks to the properties of Smoky.

Isn't a "big and brave team" essentially a good team? You're basically saying that you need a team with fairly advanced equipment. Calculating your Shaft charges with logic doesn't really require the aid of DP.

M3 Shaft is great (test server), but it can't one-shot M3 Hunter, unfortunately, unless you pop a DP. Still, there are tons of Hornets and quite a few Wasps around to one-hit kill.

Hmm, crystals haven't been given yet. Is there a set date? I don't mind waiting, but it'd be nice to know when they're coming.

Hmm, does anybody know when the prize crystals are going to be given? I haven't gotten anything yet. Do we have to wait until the server restart?

Hornet-Smoky deserves a bit more praise than that. I've been using M1 Smoky/M0 Hornet for a long time, and it's a very solid combo that allows you to use guerrilla tactics (not to the extent of Wasp, but still) and charge into combat as long as you're not the tip of the spear. It even works well against Lieutenants and their M2 Hornets.

Dictator/Smoky is quite possibly the ugliest combo in the whole entire game (seeing it is like seeing Comic Sans font), but it works really well, even without drugs. All the power of Smoky-Titan with mobility rivaling Viking. Dictator can soak up a lot of damage, which helps when assaulting enemy bases, or just covering for you when you're just not getting crits.

If I get some money from the "Describe this in 100 words contest (hopefully 1st place, that gets you 40,000 crystals), I'm probably going to get the M1 Medium Tank kit, and then wait for a sale on M1 Wasp. If I get the kit, I'll get my paint/medium tank shopping done for quite a while, and after that I just need M1 Wasp as a light tank to round out my arsenal. M1 Dictator goes well with a lot of turrets, so regardless of how I get it, it will most likely be my M1 medium hull. It also drugs really well, so if I pair it with Smoky, I'll be almost unstoppable.

By handling, I mean turning speed. To be fair, it can get out of control in certain situations, but I find that Hornet's drift causes more problems than that, especially when I'm on Nitro. If I'm circle strafing an enemy, Hornet tends to drift too far out after about 3/4s of a spin, while Wasp can keep its distance to the target relatively constant. Still, I'm currently using my M0 Hornet because I'm waiting for a sale to get M1 Wasp. M0 Wasp is just too fragile in battles with higher ranks.

Hornet's very popular, sure, but that doesn't automatically make it the best hull. Wasp has much better handling and speed, but at the cost of less health. If you can avoid taking damage, Wasp is better.

Smoky crits apparently used to be ridiculously overpowered before the graphics update, but that was a LOONG time ago. Smoky's more of a close to mid range weapon now.

Dictator might take some time to getting used to (especially if you're a hardcore light hull player), but once you get the hang of it, you can really wreak some havoc. It's especially good at M1 from what I've heard, where it has a ton of health compared to other M1 hulls (same health as Titan) and pretty great speed. Still waiting for a 50% sale on Wasp, Dictator, and Railgun so I can get everything I need for a long time (until First Lieutenant). The wait is killing me.

The staff/developers have a life too. They can't be on 24/7 to help with every single issue at every given moment.

Smoky technically has infinite range. It just drops down to almost nothing at long range, but it can still hit targets.
