Score multiplier pass does not affect your score in team battles with regards to other players. For example say you have the 100% pass. If you score 500 in CTF then your XP earned towards ranking is really 1000. The score is not doubled in terms of team score, so, whether you have a pass or not won't affect your place in the battle. If you play DM you get XP but XP has nothing to do with your place in battle since the placement is based on kills. Any XP earned in DM is doubled as well. Thus, having the multiplier pass really has no effect on how many crystals you earn - it simply allows you to rank faster. The best application for this is using Isida and DD to heal team mates. You can rank through earning XP rather quickly this way because of the score bonus you get from healing team mates. Or, use a turret that allows you to damage multiple players such as Thunder or Firebird.

It will be jerky and ugly if hardware acceleration for Flash is turned off. It just sounds like if you have to shrink your screen in the browser to play smoother then your laptop just can't handle it or keep up. There's just no way for an iGPU to compete with a true dedicated GPU. The newer ones are better, but, your CPU came out on the market in Q1 2010 and that's really quite a long time ago.

In 30 seconds I can go into the garage, get Firebird, respawn, and hit DD. Even though I won't get the gold box the opportunity to fry a big pile of tanks is one I try not to miss. :P

They said that when the 10 crystal drops were eliminated that they would be added to the battle fund instead. Recently two teams of 10 paused in Serpukhov for a few minutes to test this theory - merely driving around picking up boxes, etc - no kills or flag captures - during the pause time the battle fund did not increase despite more drops falling.

I thought about it for awhile and considered my own gaming history. Considering the Unreal Tournament series, for example, I much preferred the graphics and game play in the original - the subsequent UT2003/2004/UT3 never really inspired me or caused me to spend as much time playing them as the original. Certain games don't benefit at all from the latest graphics and perhaps Tanki is another one of those. While the demos look nice if not many people can play them then it is pointless to try to expect a large userbase.

Everyone seems to forget that when they added the laser they also removed shake. To me that more than offsets the silly looking search beams moving everywhere.

The score caps are great example of this. I was playing Polygon CP a night or so ago and I was on red - we were down quite a bit, then, some new players joined (NewbieCake for one) and slowly we were turning it around - then BAM! The freaking score cap was hit by blue with still about 6 minutes to go - we were down by 40 at one point and I was counting down to the team as we closed the gap. We were 7 points behind blue when they hit the cap - if we had been able to play that additional 6 minutes I am certain we could have won.

I ranked from Marshal to Field Marshal in about 2 weeks almost using Isida exclusively. :D

What really aggravates me the most is having the potential round winning flag on my tank and driving up over an enemy tank blocking my path near my base causes me to self destruct, thus, losing the flag not winning the round. (Stupid anti-fly-hacker code!)

Common glitch along with not being able to pick up supply boxes or randomly dropping the flag. Either self-destruct or refresh the browser.

I love the independent suspension on the tanks in the demo. If the level of detail on the tanks looks anywhere like that it will be impressive. :)

Often times you will get "stuck" going into battle when you join a team that has only one slot open. What happens is two people join at the same time and apparently you don't actually make it into battle. It's a messy bug that is difficult to get around when it happens - even refreshing the browser won't help, and, because the dialog comes back after a refresh you can't click on anything else to get out of it.

Yes, and all this coming on the heels of them paying out 4 billion crystals after Star Ladder when battle funds were 5x for one day. Sales hurt the economy but 4 billion free crystals do not? In a way it's comical seeing all the backtracking and explanations - the only ones who seem to believe those things are the kids here. It seems there's a gross lack of communication and coordination among the groups involved in marketing and developing Tanki - coupled with the fact that the new garage discounts would start soon - why announce that now when you have a sale going on? Good thing I saw the VLOG before picking up anything that required a middle upgrade to it before reaching M3.
