The tiny white text in the video is too small, I cant read it as it got distorted by the compression algorithm. -
well if you put them all into one battle, and each and every one claims he is pro, then they will end up saying to each other that _they_are_all_ pro, while all others are noobs :p

inbalanced for me: Isida It got more damage, yes this helps.. but actually it needs more selfheal and not so necessarily the damage. Isidas are target#1 in teambattles, so selfheal is the only chance to sustain as attack support on larger maps. Most likely this will come by a alternation - but I would preffer it the other way around: have a selfhealing Isida that can take care of itself a little batter but has "not so good" attack.. and give an alternation for ISidas where it sacrifices selfheal and gets more damage. Firebird Off stock fire -vs- fire M2 alternation is not balanced at all. The normal fire is too weak.. you could hand out more damage to off-stock fire / and cut reload/sec + increase energyconsumption for the M2 alternation. other turrets look more/less ok to me Light hulls As their speed and agility was cut, they are sooooo inbalanced in mixed mode battles now. Again.. why was this done? -.- This took out so much fun of the game.. (hunter viking swap 2nd time in 18 months.. grmlsmlgrbksnbeksb,....)
-
^same impression regarding the hulls. In lower tiers everyone was light and medium.. in Gismo ranks there were almost only Mediums with heavy prtection paints around. Heavies were simply far too slow but I saw more turrets then you back in 2014. There were also Ricos and Thunders, but no Smokys in M1/M2 :p

thats awesome :D:D:D:D Bouncing-Rail with it's infinite range on, Parma, in the low grounds: edit: damn, forgot to crop it.. well nvm.. :p
-
Well, yes and no. I think they should be balanced :p in DM and 1-1 situations: There Isida and Fire should be balanced (isida makes use of range, fire makes use of afterburn and more damage..). Teambattles: Isida can operate as a healer, while the Firebird shold be able to deal damage on multiple tanks simultaniously by afterburn and penetration. I'm not talking about that a fire should be able to eat through 5 tanks before he dies out... but 1 kills, 1 afterburn kill + 1 serious damage sound good to me. But you are right, that stock-fire was weakened in his attack power by cutting him off the penetration and usefull afterburn. I edit my post above.

^do they have main accounts too?

http://en.tankiwiki.com/Wasp Desription defines "Acceleration", the table of values does not give a value for Acceleration. (fwd acceleration) Desription does not define "Power", the table of values does give a value for Power. Same goes for Hornet, Hunter... and then I stopped checking the hulls :p If acceleration is a function of weight and power in this game, then this function would be of interrest.

you are right, he is in the M1 ranks already.. while my example showed a price comparrism for M0 tankers. So let me get this better: At his rank are Isida M1 and Shaft M1, which cost around 18.000. The pro pass costs him 1.850, which is about 10% of a turret. At your rank you can buy an Railgun M2 or Ricochet M2, that costs around 90.000. If you would have to pay 10% of that turrets price too, the pro pass would cost you 9.000. 9.000 are maybe just 3 days of gameplay for you (1k/hour, 3h a day, 3 days in total). But would you go for 9k for a pro pass, when you realise that this is almost 10% of your turrets price? People have targets in this game (saving up for their beloved turret), so they think of how much they have to save up. Then they compare that amount of "should save this" to the pro pass price.. and given that the pro pass prices are too high for lower ranks. In M3 ranks the pro pass cost only 2% of a M3 turret. The amount of players which own one, are tremendous.

I think it makes much sense for Aritllery and Rockets.. ..and for Rico and Twins they might just need ideas for alternations that are based on existing/soon exisiting programm code :p They could also let a Rico shoot fireballs, and let it have afterburn, while the Twins would freeze it's opponent :p
-
look at this rank. A Pro pass might cost him as much as an average M0 turret. That is like they would charge your rank 30.000..90.000 crystals for a pro pass. The prices for lower ranks are still too high

The damage is not the same all the time, the initial damage for each shot is a random value between 740 and 1020 - and therefore different for every shot you do (while the lowest and highest values are very unlikely, and the values in the middle of the bandwith are very likely). This initial damage is then reduced over range.. but even beyond the farest distance, thunder still dals 50% of this initial damage. This is way more then Smoky.. therefore Smoky needed the buff. If you now say you deal only 60 hp, then I would guess you do not talk about a direct hit, but you talk about splash damage (you hit something close to the enemy, and he gets harmed). 60 is very low.. but it's aprox. the damage that you deal to targets - at the end of your splash damage radius, almost out of your effect + they have about 30% protection. As you hit things that are at the border of your effectivity, it's ok that you deal such low damage.

The battlefund in drugged battles increases only fast, if only a few players are drugging, and keep scoring over and over. As soon as they are efficiently counterdrugged, you have standstill: DPs.. and DA cancel each other out; and a HK makes the killing effort of the last 10sec for vain. For non-drugging players it's crap, as you deal less damage vs all druggers around you then all around you -> score lower then of all around you -> your funds share lower then from all around you. Those are better of in drug-free battles. The map + game mode + ranks define how much fund will be here; the team (win, loose) decides if you get the large portion or the loosers crumbs. Inside the team it is an almost linear distribution of crystals-per-point.. so everyone simply gets what he worked for. The only thing that makes a difference to this things described above, are turnover battles. You enter a battle where already a lot of fund was created, and you enter the loosing side. Then you drug hard with a few good skilled friends, turn the tides of war and change the 8:2 flags into a 8:10 flags. In total you will maybe even score less then the other team (not so much time for kills) but you win in flags and take the majority of the share. But the soon as you see that takeover teams rob your fund a few times.. you will even more think of playing pro battles ;)

don't forget that selfheal and dealed damage go hand-in-hand; as selfhealing states the percentage as share of damage dealt. M3s: Isida of stock today: -> damage: 544 .../.. selfheal: 544 x 0.10 = +54 hp/sec example on an alternation: damage -15%, selfheal = +200% (from 10% to 30%): -> damage: 544 x 0.85 = 462hp/sec ../.. selfheal: 462hp x 0.30 = +139hp/sec the time you need to kill a medium hull increases from 2529 / 544 = 4,6sec = ~ 4,75sec... in which you can selfheal 54 x 4.6 = 248 hp (~10% of your own medium hull) to 2529 / 462 = 5,47sec = ~ 5,5sec.... in which you can selfheal 760 hp (30% of your own medium hull) I just compared that with Firebird's TTKs... and those sound balanced edit: balanced in DM and 1-1 standoffs on the battleground. But Isida has the additional healing ability, while Fire lost Penetration and Afterburn (even if the Isidas healing runs from the same Energy pool.. it can simply make more use of it's energy then the Firebird)

Actually a cool idea. It blocks your account for 1 week, and costs 1 USD/EUR. It comes with a real life mission, like "go outside for 2hours without a phone", "train until you can do 60 pushups in a row (with guide)", "make your neighbour happy", ... :p If you come back and proove your archievement, you get 1 goldbox supply xD

pro: outperforms others by skill and not soely by equipment does not brag about wins or his skill plays fair and has honor (no early caps in XP/BP, ..) does not call other players noobs in an offensive way (some friends just call each other noob for the fun of it with a wink ;) )

very usefull !

2000mc once proposed to spend less time in the forum and more in the game. He had a point there ;) I created this account about 1 year ago :p
-
Please keep the discussion clean - kind thanks in advance :) if you play here 1 year, you earn about 1 Mio crystals, so 33 000 are 3.3% percent of your income. You will not even get an M2 turret for that amount.. The only issues arise for the non-regular players, that join infrequently (or just 2..4 hours a week)
-
..but in the moment they are released, gameplay is crap for a month or two :p I would apriciate if they get the alternations balanced out more, and then go for new turrets.......... but I think most players just like the turrets first, and like to cry about wasted crystals on late-rebalanced-alternations later :p
-
I doubt that they will do that. They need a critical mass for the battle button. You for sure remember the first week, where pro was simply available.. and around 10% played battle button, whereby all others created battles and played what they chose to.
-
gameplay at WO ranks is nice, if you play your main account. If you have a way more experiance, then it becomes a little depressing.. as noone does, what they are supposed to do :p :p :p :p :p (dropped flag for the titan. titan turns around and leaves flag alone in order to chase a wasp around a corner. yey :D. But whatever, we all learned the hard way :))
-
^ yeah you could be right on Freeze. I'm pretty much alinged on your proposales for the fire M2 alteration, as I also proposed to cut reload and direct damage. I think if the charge time is additionally nerfed too, then it is too much. For me simmilar TTKs and efficiency are the things that count in the end.. lets wait for the next balance proposal (it's really good to have frequently small changes now.. that much better then living with inbalanced stats for 6 months)
-
I just wait until GeeVuh has read it, then I edit it back :p :D :D :D :D
