    oh... damn.. I am sorry for writing alterNation all the time.. it sounds like alternative and therefor I always write alterNation, as I associate it with those alternations in the game. But I will keep practising, and one day, I will sure be able to write alternation in the way it is ment to be. thanks for your patience :)

    I like the idea of the multiple-ray alternation :) I think the Range-extending lock-on feature will overdo it.. although it will create interresting new attack patters vs Fire and Freeze

    Hazel, if you read this.. why was Hornet and Wasp slowed down so much and cut of their agility? What was the reason? Wasp or hornet was never OP in multimode battles in the M2/3/4 battle range. Even on larger maps like Serpuchov there were plenty of mediums around, as the low health of the light hulls is a drawback. And now the hp are still low, but additionally they now lack speed and have a real bad handling (no agility, turning acceleration). It definitely made the gameplay less fun (I played about 200k xp since the update, I had plenty of time to get used to it.. but still). I see that there are a lot of wasp/hornet around in M0/M1, but there the tanks miss a lot. So the advantage of a medium over a light is not so large in real battle field envoronments. But in In M3/M4 ranks the battles were never overcrowded with light hulls. So why was it changed?

    When I create a pro battle, the default time is 30 minutes. I have the mouse in my hand and I can change the time only in 1min steps. I propose adaptive time steps - the more time you need, the more does it add. For tanki the usefull steps for each click could look like this: Examples of setting times: If you want to play 321 minutes, you can still enter it manually via the keyboard.

    I see, low accuracy does cancel it out. Well world of tanks has a different gameplay; you do not need to clean a base fast get the flag and back home. You can take your time and noone spawns back. You have to take your time, as you yourself do not spawn back. How did this one guy say? "You have to win one side, before you loose the other". I liked his tactical movies :) so.. how could this turret be used in Tanki then?

    It is rather simple: If the "vast majority" (loving this term :) ) of all players would love what the battle button does, there would still be 5% Pro battles on each server, like we did before. Well, we have waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy more pro battles then 5% now. so... Seems that a map distribution that "it is more fair now" does simply not interrest the "vast majority" of the players (but only a small portion + the ones that refuse to purchase a pro pass). still I like this update, as the lower pro battle prices + the forcing of players into getting them, finally created a certain mass of pro pass owners, which on the other side is usefull to play drug free battles :)

    a slow reload with high damage does not fit an ambushers profile, as there are more then 1 enemies to be taken out in the enemy base. The gun you desribed fits more an attacksupport sniper or a defense sniper (and reminds me of old railguns with 7sec reload and daaamn_slow turning speeds :P)
  11. nic idea :) On your picture it looks like the filter section is part of the scrolled banner hosting all modules.. and so it will scroll out to the left if I scroll through my modules. I'd propose to leave the filter always visible on the left, while only the rest of the banner section is affected by the scroll bar.

    Well there is for sure a parameter for cooling rate (Hazel told us a couple of months ago; he also told us the value). If it's not in your config file, then it is maybe part of another config file.. because actually this parameter does not apply to the turret, but to the hulls. And as it's the same for all hulls.. I wonder if it's in some general config file. Are there maybe some more general config files, where this parameter could be found? -- However, the cooling rate and heating rate give a much better impression of the way a firebird works, instead of just stating the burning time - and not even saying it is the maximum possible time, which could be less: today: *begins? <- ends ? proposed: and maybe you like to add this to the firebirds page: If you plan to add the burning damage mechanics part, it would be cool if Hazel would read through it, before you add it. Maybe he can then also answer the questions, if protection vs firebird recuces the heating rate too (and not only the burning damage inflicted).

    You make a good point about the market. actually the issue for Tanki is not to have the price set in a way that everyone can afford a pro pass.. ..I think the objective should be to set the price in a way, to ensure that enough free battles prevail. As players react critical to a raise of the pro Pass costs (like increase of taxes :p ) the better way is to keep the price wher eit is now, and to monitor the situation for.. maybe a month. Then they can adjust if necessary. If they are clever, they still do not touch the price, but call out a discount on propasses of maybe.. 30%, 50%? Just for a week, so everyone interrested can get one. By this they can check the actual requested amount under the circuimstances of reduced price (well.. almost.. but good enough to serve as indication). Lets see.
  14. I proposed a loooong time ago, that your own name should be highlighted in the battle log in the upper right corner (either if you are killed, or if you kill someone). This would solve this issue with the mines as well

    then... what values do exist in the file for the firebird? does the config file stores all weapon parameters, or only those that change from M0..M4?

    Yeah, I fully understand you. My wasp is slow like an old donky, so I already thought to propose a carrot-alternation for Wasps. With this alternation a carrot will hang down from a rod infront of tha tank to make it go faster. But as they reduced the agility too, I rides like it had a few beers too much.. so before I can lure my Wasp with a carrot, I have to get it clean and responsive again.. Nah, jokes beside (ok, actually I was not joking, by wasp is truely crap now), I do fully understand you. But that's the game here in the last 2.. 3 years. There are only a few logical things left for us to do (and they happen over and over again in this game): - players that had been striked by a laaaarge balance change (instead of small ones), usualy feel cheated - players that feel cheated stop to invest money. - tanki creates more features for beginners, as those do not know the way tha balacne will come sooner or later, and so they invest It's actually a sad cycle.. but this is what I saw since I am here. I hope things will change a bit with their new improoved way of making small changes. If it helps you: things that are underpowered get stronger again sooner or later. But the downside is, many times they loose the characteristics (like freeze did, until it become "usefull" again last month). good luck ;)

    I have a few lower alts (something below WO1, a WO3, one before brigadier) and I used to do what you propose for about a year now. But since this update it is HARD. Damn HARD without a pro pass. I can not simply join a battle that is almost empty on a large map, to collect boxes.. because there are no free battles that are almost empty. On the other side I don't want to mult crowded battles while I wait for a box.. but if I play in this time, I earn more XP, which I dont want either. I can not simply enter my map for the mission and play there 300xp, because there is no map "that I need for the mission" around. Without a pro pass this kind of crystal harvesting has become very, very hard. Within the last few days I can not any more take care of a single account within 10..15 minutes.. I need more time. I doubt tanki had this intention; but putting myself in their shoes, I would say that is a marvelous side effect.. not for me, but for them ;)

    I understand the problem like that: IF (and only if!) the battle button creates a new map, it is one out of 30 possible maps. The number of maps that are used in the creation of a mission, are 10. So the chance that you enter the right map are 10/30, or 33%. Rather high. But.. ...each time you press the battle button, it rather places you in an existing battle with room (and time), instead of creating a new one for you (makes sense.. because else you will end up alone in the map all the time). And if a single players stays in those random battle after it's ended, the battle will prevail and suck in the new players that hit the battle button. So.. the more popular the map was, that they played, the more likely it is that this map will prevail. Same goes for the creation process: if a player is the first one in a map, and by chance he does not like the map, he will leave it again. ...So the behaviour of the players (use pro passes a lot these days; non pro players stay in popular maps) + the behaviour of the button (places players into existing maps) leads to the issue, that you will have only a small number of different maps on the servers... and this drops your chances to find "your needed map" by a lot. This is of course more valid in mid..high ranks (where players have prefferences and map knowledge already). I guess the lower ranks have it far easier. The number of unlocked maps is lower, the hitrate will be better, and overall more non-pro battles are available. depends on the play time.. the issue is, that the prices for the ProPass are ok if you play truely a lot per day and focus on a few parts of the garage only. But ProPasses are overpriced if you play 1h a day. I thought, that those beginners usually earn about 20 crystals per battle.. and like to purchase all M0 turrets available and at least 2 more M0 hulls (and that's good, they have to try them). If you now put this into relation, then 500 crystals seem ridicoulously high. For a player that purchases the pass once and then plays 3h a day, and has experience.. he can make 2000 xp per hour which results in 60.000 xp after the month .. it's fine.. <- but he is not the default beginner, he is an Alternative account user. This player profile is not the thing the game should aim for.
  20. There is a rather new module with Rail, Thunder Smoky. As a Rico is a deathsentence to my Wasp (firerate so high that I can not fight back with rail, as I am constantly pounded) I preffer this one.. but first I have to get it :p

    Please do _NEVER_ take away the players choise between DM, CP, TDM and CTF. Players love to chose their gamemode, which you can see in their profiles (check distribution [ingametime spent per gamemode] or [experience earned per gamemode]. Those are never 25%-25%-25%-25% for an individual) (they love it, like they love to choose the map they play - which is clearly seen by the risen number of pro battles after this update)

    If you record a video or a possible hacker today, the moderators request the video to be 10min lentgh. This is very long.. and makes the process bulky and ineffcient. with this feature it could be way easier. All those players that just "spontaniouls lag over/through us while flagrunning" could be easily difided into hackers and laggers, if their ping would be known - if it would be visible in the video recoding that the recoder takes. +1

    I also saw more Ididas in DM after the tweak. I am sure that Isida works nice in DM now. In DM it makes not much of a difference, if you have more damage or if you compensate the longer TimeToKill with Selfheal to survive in the meanwhile. My sorrows go for Isisdas in attack support in non-drugged battles, CTF and CP. There they are no damage dealer, but have to take about their own health during an attack run (it's the first tank everybody targets.. they need to fill up a bit on leaching on midfielders and defenders) There the selfheal, can not be excahgned by giving them more damage.
