Lol you guys even beat each other in front of Cedric's desk
-
Oh yes you can :D That already happened to me a couple of times, when I laid a mine and the other guy hovered it and there was no boom

Well, you are right that the self-heal capability has only a minor role and it doesn't have much influence anymore since the update. M2 alt. makes it a bit better but still it is probably pretty negligible. I said above that it can be useful when you are directly attacked in an emergency (as you should always stay safe, in order to stay in your role). The main reason for the static defender is not the selfheal, but the bigger healing capability. Yes it might have problems when tanks are directly attacked to keep up enough healing power to let them stay alive, but this should be rather rare, as they are in the home base. IMO it often is not necessary for a normal isida to keep up a constant healing, because it heals faster than the enemy is causing damage to the allied tank. So I think it will be sufficient to withstand attacks also with a lower healing rate but keep the healing more constant and longer. In case this is a problem it might be an option to have another Isida with M2 alt. there so they can heal together a single tank, but they can then heal about all the time. In this case these two should be more effective than two stock isidas. Well, it should be tested it I guess...

Thank you, that's really interesting. The arcade reload is indeed a buff, because now it has for M3 Shaft a 15 % lower reload time. I just tested shaft ingame and what I get from it, is that Shaft arcade seems to be now a turret with a bell curve damage as well, like Railgun, Thunder, Smoky, etc. This means that it deals a random amount of damage that is between min. and max. damage numbers. So I don't think the dealt damage amount has something to do with the distance of the shot or the charge level. Since they buffed the arcade mode, it seems to better to shoot more often with arcade now than before at enemies in closer distance and with this you maybe won't need a scope for this anymore, so in this sense the increased zoom sounds like a buff to me. A reason for the shaft changes can be that they want to make room for the M3 alteration. On the other hand they might wanted to make Striker more similar to Shaft.

Shaft got some buffs too B)

Fire - Wasp or Hornet combo format
-
To be honest, I expected they will adjust it the other way around: So reduced lockon time and increased reload.
-
Probably both -> as they have the same numbers already.
-
:P I guess I still had that most of the time when Shaft was my main turret -> massive lag, which seems to have the same effect :D
-
I have never experienced a Shaft without laser  that was before my time... I am here for around two years I think. ^_^
-
Ahh okay, so some kind of swing movement or drift to the side during scoping...

What does 'sway' mean in this context? I don't know this English word

If my team is heavily outnumbered or it takes a while till the game ends and my team has not a mere chance then I'll probably leave. Call that cowardice? Maybe, but I don't really mind. It's just because of the Tanki economy and that's how the game is designed. Often one team has no chance when there is a huge overdrugging on one side. We could call that cowardice too. To me leaving early on the one side and OP drugs or incredibly low crystal earnings for the losing team on the other side is just a natural Tanki balance for me. I often also don't care much about GBs and that is mainly because I had for a long time a laptop that always lagged when the GB came, making it about as impossible for me to catch it. In the meantime of the GB drop I usually try to cap a flag if the fight is tough. In general I join the team that I expect to win the game (considering I will be part of this team) and that does not mean it is always the team that is leading. Often I just check the ranks of the player and compare the teams (which is a good thumb rule to me), check if I know good players in there and check if I have the chance to make a notable difference.

Infinitely OP :D

The 30% more hitting power should be enough for a one shot of medium tanks of the same m level tho.

I saw that too when a player dropped a GB in AS. The chat went crazy

Patch Update #430 - New Striker turret, new Alterations and decorations
Tani_S replied to theFiringHand in News Archive
What if the M0 alterations will change that? :D By the way the turret turning speed of Striker is a lot higher than Shaft's turning speed. Because of this the Striker laser jerks around a lot and seem to not keep the focus on your tank but in general it still has the aim and by all the weird laser movements, you can know it's a Striker aiming for you. A Shaft laser is moving smooth and reasonable ;) -
Is Don't panic a "normal" player or is it a dev account? If he's not a dev then he is a freaking No-Lifer :D because now being about three weeks after your post, he is Legend 102, so he got ~800k xp on top in the meantime

Yeah I'm glad I have the Twins alt. :D and it strikes with awe when it can even dominate in Polygon CP as it is optimized for a bit greater ranges. The funny thing is that Rico's and Twins' M1 alt. got buffed a little after they came out.
-
Yes it seems he doesn't like Isida at all  However though I haven't tested, I expect the Isida M2 alt. to be about as useful as Freeze M2 alt., which eliminates the Freeze effect, if it is not even better... which means there are at least some situations when it is useful. And for the Isida M2 alt. I see its role clearly as the home base healer, that stays there or in a safe distance away from the front all the time. There it can benefit from a bigger healing capacity (+23%) and in an emergency case when being attacked it can stay alive by the better selfheal per sec. (+40%) -> so it's not about doing damage but to stay alive and heal others. By the way, the Isida M2 alt. is in a way similar to those alterations that have a reduced damage output (by lower damage or slower shooting), but in exchange for this can fire longer and in the end more, like Rico's M1 alt., Vulcan's M2 alt. and Hammer's M2 alt. (the last one is OP tho, because there is no longer reload between the shots). But the Isida M1 alt. is just plainly bad :D

Check this link for detailed changes of the rebalance of 20th October and click on the Isida tab. In another update after the rebalance Isida's damage parameter got a slight buff again.

M3 alteration for railgun "Overcharged Grid" Enable a powering up of the railgun tank, as it can get shot by up to 3 allied railers within a 3 seconds time frame and the allied tanks harm it with 33 % of their normal damage. When the Rail with this alteration shoots a shot at the enemy within this 3 seconds it deals the damage of its own rail and additionally 66 % of the damage of the connected allied rails. By this you can build a Rail grid with some timing skill and you can shoot with your team around corners.
-
Yes, right. To me the best alterations are: Hammer's high caliber drum Firebird's compact tanks Rail's high caliber ammo Twins' Plasma core accelerators The worst alteration ever is Isida's M1 alt.

Well we know that the non-pro battles do not include Deck-9, Magadan and Canyon. Maybe Cedric had these maps in mind. Or are others also not included?
-
Striker seems to perform very well in Polygon and Massacre map.
