Yeah - TO physics is just brutal. Lighter tanks with SB on actually move heavier tanks. Or they slide under them and lift them up. It's terrible programming. A lighter tank hitting a bigger tank does not freak'in go under it. It should just STOP - like hitting a wall.

This assumes someone only uses one combo then. So a Marshall with 1 decent hull/turret + mediocre modules should be facing Gismos or Legends all the time? Buyers will stop buying and game disappears. Rank is the absolute best way to balance battles - especially with 7 splits on the ability to upgrade. Within a group of ranks your advantage is definitely limited. The issue is rank-brackets. That's where the imbalance comes in now. Lt. General fighting Legends? DUMB. Way too many people are coming up with suggestions because of the mk conversion. It's done. Get over it. Stop trying to correct something that will cease to matter when these WO5's with mk7s rank up to fight the big boys. -

So, as a Legend... I equip my mk1 items, then pick a battle... then change my gear once in the battle. Is that how it should work? -
May not have splash - but "up close" it gets owned by fire/ isida/ freeze/ twins/ hammer/ ricco just like Thunder. In both cases they will lose.

Will be worse for smoky. At least if Thunder misses it can do splash damage. Smoky doesn't even have that - it needs a precision shot to be effective at all.

This would never work. Buyers don't want to play just play other buyers. Why would they spend $ if they can't get an advantage? MM is supposed to use Rank + GS. It can't just use GS - that will not work either. If MM had sensible rank-brackets it would work in the log term. But unfortunately, with too many battle-modes and too small a player base the Devs - in all their coughwisdomcough - allow a wider rank-bracket when there are fewer players. Which just makes matters worse. With reasonable rank-brackets, and more splits on the levels of equipment - 7 splits - the battles would be more balanced. It's not there yet. -

Yes it will. The devs messed up converting ms to mks. Going forward, buyers will not have such a huge advantage (after this "conversion error" goes away). Buyers won't be able to have an m2 smoky at sergeant. They will have to rank up after they max out an mk-level... more splits = smaller gaps. -
Having many battle-modes affects the game. 2 battle-modes = 1/2 the players going into each. 8 battle-modes = 1/8 the players going into each. 1/8 is much smaller than 1/2 ... no? So waiting time is much greater AND the rank-brackets are much wider. My Lt. General alternate account keeps getting stuck in battles as lowest rank against Gismos, Legends, etc. Becomes impossible to get that finish-top-3 15 times. It's a joke. Every battle everyone uses supplies. It doubles your power - both directions - so basically cancels out. DD - DA . NET 0. On the other hand Overdrives make your tank way, way more powerful than 2x. It's not even close. Overdrives more skill-full? Point gun at 3 tanks... hit shift then space-bar. BOOM!. Yeah - that's skilled. LOL. I don't understand what you are trying to say here.

Certainly helps when NO ONE shoots at you. 1 firebird chased it on the bridge. It's almost like that hornet was invisible. What was the score in that battle? Striker is one of those turrets that can do well when it has no enemies in it's face. On a dominating team it can get a great score.

over the short term I'd agree. But it's been like this ever since they introduced MM. Over 2+ years, there's no way I should be "randomly" placed in Rio as few times as I am. It's just very odd.

I rarely play TJR, so that would not explain it's rarity. And it is not just my imagination. I might see it 1/month. Rio and a few other maps like Serpuhov, I see much, much less than maps like Sandbox, or Sandal, or Brest, etc. It's not even close.

I see Rio about 1/5 of the times I see most other maps. That is a huge difference.

You knew what the reward was before you started. To complain once you are done is silly. Next time - don't spend all that "effort" to complete the Challenge unless you have a Battle-Pass.

Don't buy another medium hull. 3 is way too many for your rank. You are better off sticking with 1 (max 2) medium hulls and getting better modules.

I was referring to this part... "Viking could give its teammates a 20% damage increase for 10 seconds" If that team-mate gaining 20% increase was a Hornet with OD activated.... They changed the balance of it... does not make it completely OP... as you say in your own post "too weak at long range". Would not be the end of the world if they adjusted the damage down a bit - but - my faith in Devs doing things in useful increments is quite low.

Seems too complicated. And does a hornet rail need another 20%? Will be 1-shotting Heavy hulls all the time Maybe occaisionaly. But in general they gutted the turret with the ridiculous long spin-up and the giant damage nerf while overheating. It was the least-used turret (along with striker) for a reason. LOTS turrets abused hornets OD. My medium hulls were getting spawn-killed by magnums before I finished spawning.

Getting so tired of being on the team in Siege with players that are afraid of getting their paint scratched. These 4-6 powder-puffs all hang back with their magnums and gauss while the rest of us blue-collars try to tuff it out in the mosh-pit. Once I see that happening it's adios. They obviously only care about stars... don't seem to mind losing 0-5.

ah... my bad. But ... NO. it does fine without scoring from sharing. Plus u dont even need to be near the hornet to benefit

Wait... wut you mean... it already does share the radar. Hornet does fine without getting points for sharing. Other hulls sharing abilities would just mess up the game even more. How could wasp possibly share it's OD? Or Hunter?

MFS is good if you like to keep your distance some, and you like faster balls - a bit easier to hit moving targets. I have that and Plasma Torch - which is really good up close on light & medium hulls. Klls faster. BUT... PT has difficult time with heavys+modules as it recharges much slower. Thought it had permanent DA or something... or is it just a huge amount of health. I guess the real question is... can Ricco kill JUG on 1 tank of energy 1) with DD and 2) without DD? Does Hunter have any effect on JUG besides the 2.2 second stun?

Does JUG still have damage reduction - even when stunned? If so, Ricco will have trouble kiling it before energy runs out. You'd probably have to have DD on every time to be significant. As an aside, Ricco works great with Hunter in most other cases - you can kill stunned enemies very quickly.

Yeah... if it was close to flag you'd HAVE to kill it first, else you'd never go more than 10m with having to stop completely. Then try to accelerate again, each time. Assuming you still had the flag (I have my doubts). Would also be lousy for score in battles. Hunter gets nothing for stunning or removing supplies. If this thing had low damge it's not killing much - just annoyng.
