What bothers me more is when they took away the "back entrances" to each base.
-
I agree. if they want everyone to play this (#missions) the it should be noob-proof. As it is, if I get shackled into this battle-mode va misisons (ie it's the 2nd worst one I get that day) then the best I can hope for as the JUG is to not cost my team by dying. But then... if I'm avoiding death I'm not contributing much to offense... It's an undwhelming "super-tank". I get more kills via my ricco-Hunter with drone equipped. Or my Titan-Smoky with Incendiary.
-
Or... start the battle with 6 vs 6 or something like that... Would not be the end of the world in many maps. And it's not like we've never played Berlin with 3 vs 3 in the long-distant past (an extreme example)
-
Nope. You are having the most fun right now than you will ever have in the game.
-
Not sure why you dslike Autocannon so much. I'm getting more kills from smoky incendiary than I ever did from autocannon - especially on the larger maps where targets are trying to protect themselves from Shaft/Rail/Gauss/Thunder/Magnum... We need another modules lot - amirite?
-
Then just play Titan-Shaft, hide in a corner picking off the odd tank that passes your view, and drop a dome on yourself whenever you feel a slight shiver. Seen too many of those lately.

You are making assumption that the team currently wining does nothing in response. They are just as likely to have multiple hulls - so that strategy is status-quo - as in the team currently winning will continue to win more often than not. A huge number of players don't have time to become no-lifers every month to complete the Challenge. Even you don't by your own admission. But let's say they did and acquire the coins you say above... 142 / month. So to get the 4600 coins for Tornado kit you will play for 4600/142 = 32 months. Even if they could buy the Kit after that long (they can't) 32 months is a ridiculous amount of time to wait to use something "free". So no - the coins don't "bridge the gap" for F2P tankers. But they do subsidize the buyers expenses...

I don't think it would change the number of alt accounts much. I set up a new account for a fresh experience - not to dominate newbies. You can only really expereince different combos to the fullest by starting from scratch - not buying them at the upper end. Good chance that, if I could not set up alt accounts for the fresh experience I would play a lot less overall, or even move on to something else. Also don't think there are that many buyers in the really low ranks that make the experience for newbies that horrible. Sure there are some, like when I started, but they quickly leave you behind. I think things like goofy very wide rank-brackets are the thing that cause newbies to leave. They end up playing players 4-6 ranks above them that actually have access to supplies and have enough to make a huge impact.

Hornet-Rail with OD active says hello! They are active everywhere, and there is no defense against them. Nah. Now my default is Eagle/Falcon/Owl. At long ranges Gauss is more deadly.
-
A lot more likely to happen? Maybe you want to re-phrase? The ODs contribute to the positive feedback loop. Once a team gets ahead they generate ODs faster as they kill more and cap more. Game over 75% of the time - especially when players jump ship when they realize they won't be on "The-Winning-Team". FYI - I bought mammoth on my second account - before the new ODs came out - because I already had Titan on my first account. There are components other than speed that impact the game. Anaconda - available at WO5 - costs 4000 coins. Not even 1st Lt. is gonna have 4000 coins when that kit is soon gonna be unavailable. Tornado - a popular kit with same availability costs even more at 4600. Have to strongly disagree with you on the chances here.

It's odd wording... "Support" and "Against" don't really go together. "Assist against Boss" would be more appropriate IMO - but who knows...
-
Not sure I understand the table... killing Boss 1x gives 15 exp ? healing Boss 1x (fully) gives 30 exp ? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- killing Boss = 50 score healing Boss fully = 12 score?
-
With the supplies you list, you should not need to buy any supply kits. Save those crystals for MUs and modules. continuing with 2 combos (one long, one short) would be very useful - allows you to customize for different maps. Shaft not so hot in maps like Sandal unless you buy the RFM alteration. As a camper you are probably going to want to get modules for Magnum and Gauss as well. You have time - but you definitely want to pick them up before m3 unlocks as it gets carzy expensive to acquire them after that. Plus you get economies-of-scale when you updgrade a lot of iems (once) during each sale

How woud this be implemented? By removing the "extras" you mention? I could still create a new recruit account, but could not MU, etc until 5 or 6 ranks in?
-
Since 70% of the Hornets are using Rail, I'd bank on this... which was the whole reason for my post above. There really is no defense against them... not Titan, not Hunter (due to ability to one-shot them), not Mammoth (5 seconds <<< 20 seconds), not Dictator, not Viking and not Wasp. Only true option is to get the jump on them .... but then there's that radar thingy...
-
"You guys"? As in responders? We were just answering the question. I mean - look at my Profile & K/D. Hardly that of a camper. For the record there are good campers and bad campers. A shaft that kills the flag carrier so it can be retrieved is a good team player. While a Shaft that continually kills some random enemy that comes withing it's narrow foucs while enemy flag-stealers get away and cap is not really a good team player.

Might have to do with division of trhe spoils. 4 tankers trying to kill JUG and one gets in the last lucky shot. Does not deserve 100 vs what the others get. Spreading out the scoring in a TEAM battle. Maybe.
-
- Drug - Use upgraded drones - Camp - Don't carry the flag - Don't carry the ball - always understood PC controls were better than mobile so it stands to reason you will do better - Drug more
-
You must be special then... cuz 1 to 2 hours after server restart it can take me 3 or 4 attempts at 45 seconds per attempt to get into any battle not CTF.
-
What if you have 2 crappy missions and JUG is one or both of them?
-
Had forgot about that - never use Rail. WIKI does not really make that explicit - what the "+" really means. Casual reading of it can overlook that crucial aspect - ah never mind - the description does mention this.
-
Which says a lot about this OD. There really is no defense against it - other than hiding. Sure Hunter can disable it. Unfortunately it's kinda hard to sneak up on an enemy that has radar and knows you are coming. It was just weird when one poster claimed the OD was UP, and did not believe there were many of them around. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE one-shotting medium hulls at will.
-
Why would anyone choose Hyperspace rounds over Round Stabilization? Both give 100% penetration, but RS has slightly higher average damage and does not lose any impact and... is way, way cheaper.
-
So what is the "counter" to a Hornet-Rail OD?
-
Game has changed - a lot - and not always for the better. Battle Pass - for Challenge? One reason I have more than enough supplies is that I basically ignore the Challenges - don't have time to complete all those Tiers so I don't worry about it. Basically just complete my missions.
