Since you could get crystals in TX for basically doing nothing (logging in clicking a little icon on a map, logging out) this is an unreasonable request. -
Reminds me of the spawn-points in the MAP 2041?. When playing on the Team that has flag on the upper ramp - I can't recall ever spawning up there. 100% of the time it is below - which takes forever to get back up to defend flag. Other team... spawns all around their flag.

Got placed in one like that last night - 2 players on my team had a score - all 8 players on opposing team had a score. EXIT.

Oh for sure they would complain. But that was a proportional response to the poster - you see all the nerfs requested for Hunter? I'm not sure anything was left... Does Viking OD not already give them a damage boost since they can't get faster reload? To be clear _ I don't mean on top of what the OD already does - i mean as a replacement... -
Have wanted this ever since I bought it... kinda like Shaft can release shot on a partial charge

I'm a non-buyer and don't share your view at all. While were modifying OD let's... - Remove Hornet ability to ignore protections, and make it 15 seconds - Make wasp die from it's own bomb if in blast radius - Reduce Titan dome protection to 70% - Make Viking OD give (2x faster reload than stock) OR boost damage by 75% for all DPS turrets for 15 seconds - Make mammoth only 75% damage resistant instead of 100% - Remove dictator ability to boost team-mates OD Did I miss any? Every single OD can be considered OP depending on how you use it. -

I understood what you meant about the "skilled/unskilled" part. IMO, that is not a good way to decide to buff something. -
I think groups vs non-groups is unfair, but for a different reason than you suggest. Individuals can be skilled or have a strong garage, Groups are powerful because they work as a team. They can communicate much better than non-groups - and even f only in a pair - can make a huge difference in battle when they co-operate.

Maybe it was hornet-rail with OD active and DD? Those can one-shot a medium hull. They've said it's already the "balance" they want. I use quotes because... they don't really want balance. They want you to "play another game" to make up for the one you just got stomped in. And another after that... etc... #balance

This is irrelevant to your argument. There are also unskilled players that use Hunter - should we boost it's abilities because of that? I'm not understanding your logic. You indicate above you feel (along with MANY others) that Hornet OD is already OP. And now you want to add another capability to it? Is it mines in general you dislike? If so - maybe suggest Dictators "freeze" ability be replaced with this suggestion - anyone within range of it's boost has the detection abiity for X number of seconds... -
This would lead to even less players during off-peak times...

So for any players in the game, who were not involved in the "Rebellions" (including all newbies) .... not so balanced? You'd think the game would want to have some retention for new players.

You are correct in statement that a lot of players have dislike for Hornet OD... but not sure which perspective you are taking here. That it is weak? Or OP? But I disagree that being able to see mines is not a buff, and that mines won't lose effectiveness. Hornet OD already is potent - IMO. Does not need another capability. -
I've had some long waits - maybe not 10 min - but not in a group. But I'd still like to see the tags...

I have well over 1000 hrs in this game - not a fan of Groups. I really don't believe they only play other groups. For example... a non-peak time period... 1 group hits play. What happens if no other group comes along shortly for same battle-mode? They wait... and wait... and wait...? Or MM just slots them in next battle with spots open? I'm thinking the latter. But TO could appease players by making it more transparent - by tagging Groups similarly to the way Clans are tagged. Then we'd know for sure.

In the 1-in-a-1000 chance the Hunter actually does "freeze an entire team" does it not deserve it? Wasp bomb or Viking high-damage turret can pretty much do the same thing if enemies are clustered that closely... And I agree with diesel that the supply cool-down could be dropped to 15 seconds in return for removing all active ODs within the zone. -
It's one battle within an internet game. If the other players on your team noticed, any with integrity should not hold it against you. It was worth it to educate the noob. May not stick - but sometimes ya gotta try...

You picked the worst maps that have been added to MM. Way too small for 8 vs 8, let alone 16 in DM. You spend as much time re-spawning as you do anyhting else. So how is re-spawning better than actually driving?

Haven't used it much in MM, but in Pro-Battles (no supplies) Incendiary gets tons of kills. Watching target run and hide behind a wall or hill, then seeing the red damage counter is pretty funny - and satisfying.

Don't sell yourself short - that was an awesome response to a ridiculous player request demand. Wish I had thought of it.

And players complain they face too many Rail modules in battle... never asking why that might be...
