If you really feel you need a third m2 turret get a short-range one to complement your long-range turrets. Something like Stinger. And if you want to buy the third turret wait until sales for April 1 are announced.

1) Not as well organized - combination of many different players from multiple countries and language barrier may have been factor. 2) I believe they calculated team k/d for each Turn. Each Turn they added your kills to total, added your deaths to total, then divided K/D to get the team ratio for that turn. The next Turn it starts over again.

Used it for > year myself, at M2 then M3. Was very good at M2 - it should be as it has a late unlock rank. Then Devs nerfed it multiple times and at M3+ it is more like a pop-gun. Especially at longer ranges where the critical does not make up for the 10% "weak damage". Gets outperformed by Thunder, Rail, Shaft, magnum and even Vulcan at long ranges. Gets outperformed by Ricco (especially with alt) at medium ranges. Smokys band of effectiveness vs other turrets is quite narrow.

More useful in Pro-battles where tanks are not all hopped up on Speed - it's actually possible to get hits. Striker is all-or-nothing. Most shots miss - but when they do hit it does a lot of damage. And because few tankers equip protection against it.

Valid Add new types of containers or new rewards

Will be faster than Wasp but - you'll be a one-shot kill for every turret. ;) -
So you will cave and spend real $$ now. OR... So you'll buy something else now... then also buy the one you really want later when u accumulate (or buy with $ ) more crystals.
-
ok - how many times have you seen this? It is still by far the least-used turret. Saw maybe two this entire weekend.
-
I agree - I proposed a 2 min-timer a while ago - goes off after 2 min if not activated. First of all - that's not it was designed for - why do you think it gives all team members near you bonuses? 2nd - there are many teams that use it to win battles - and they win by large margins because they are not so selfish to hold onto it just for a slim chance at getting gold. For the number of times they don't get the gold they would come out far ahead if their team won the battle.
-
But - real question is... would it decrease its user count further than... Striker? Pretty sure Striker sets the bar for low user-count...
-
Not sure if it's weekends like this that bring out the absolute worst tankers... Was in battle with mostly Legends. But I was lucky enough to be the team that had a F.Marshal playing with twins/hunter m0 10/10. A tanker using equipment that low is a MULT. Pure and simple. Of course with a useless player like that we lost. And of course I end up on another team where the players just refuse to activate Overdrive. Selfishly saving it for the black box-drops? Possibly. But how does that explain the other team using it constantly to cap flags? Of course we lost badly... OverDrive is horrible. Unless both sides use it, OD ruins battles.

Yes, I spend more wisely on my 2nd account due to hind-sight. However... When wolverine was 3rd Lt. I don't think mission chains had been added - so that's a large source of extra income for "newbies" compared to what I started with. Plus the containers are making even more of a difference. Neither of my accounts has relied on Gold for any kind of income.
-
My 3rd Lt. account has ~ 100k crystals saved for getting m2 equipment on sales. No Gold boxes and no $$. Just battles and weekly missions. With the new container rewards you eventually luck out and get a good payoff. Relying on getting Gold in the mosh-pit not best idea. You are far better off risk-wise to help your team win that battle and collect more crystals. Of course if the Gold falls right beside you go for it. Just don't drop the flag you're carrying for a 10% chance at 1000cry.

yeah - with MM I suspect we can't pick out map. So that might be when Pro (Custom) battles become more popular again. I honestly believe the "no missions in pro-battles" was partly due to complaints from druggers - not enough 'cannon fodder' to make up a good game for them. And look now - it's the opposite - plenty of players in "normal" battles while Pro maps are ghost-towns.
-
Page? I don't see the image... I hope you just play DM where your gold-digging habits won't affect team-mates. Even with dictator M4 you're odds of grabbing gold are not that great - unless map is hardly populated. I mean - the first thing I do (besides capping an easy flag) is arm DD and shoot Dictators.

about that drop-spot in Serpuhov... whereabouts exactly?
-
As Musa said - with that may turrets best to upgrade what you have before buying another. Or buy a heavy hull like Titan - for the small-to-medium maps where armor more important than speed. Also, fill in any protection module gaps. When you finally do buy another turret you should get a medium-range one. With Twins, Freeze and Isida you have the shorter end covered. Recommend Ricco - but get the MFS Alteration at same time.
-
Yeah - Twins on supplies is one of the most annoying - it makes use of every second of the supply and... NEVER. STOPS. FIRING. Even when there's no one within sight. It really is a brick-turret for the simple.
-
Hunter and Viking are quite close in stats - so do not recommend having both at your rank - redundant. What hull are you using with Rail & Isida? Any heavy hulls (at m3)?
-
Yup - OverDrive has the opposite effect of what Devs intended (I assume they did not intend for OD to put battles out of reach of the "losing" side) And the maps... the Devs insist on 10 vs 10 default... too crowded on many. 20 tanks in DM on maps like Barda mean you die every 15-20 seconds. It really is quite silly. Spawn-hit DD (or DA)-kill someone (maybe)-die-repeat- etc etc...
-
Depends on what you like more... destroying tanks or scoring through team-work. Twins/Firebird + Viking will be better for destroying. Isida or Freeze + Viking better for team battles - isida healing = good score. Freeze awesome for protecting flag. Though with Freeze I don't think I'd buy alteration. Firebird alt for extra afterburn is a must.
-
That's when I cap that final flag to complete my mission... a wee bit easier when flag undefended ;) And if your team wins the game by one flag - payoff is better than the 10 (or 9) players on other team.

Thunder is great for Gold. great for loading up a DD and firing into the pack. Listening to the crying and yelling is a great form of entertainment.

You will want two turrets (short range + mid/long range) at M2 and 1-2 hulls at M2. Anything more will hurt your finances as you aim for M3. At least 1 combo you pick at m2 you will want to upgrade to m3 - this makes you competitive through the tough ranks before M3s unlock. You already have Thunder at M2, so I would rule out something like smoky as they have a lot of similarities. Ricco I feel is best mid-range weapon - does a lot of damage quickly and with the MFS Alteration is very useful on larger maps. It is my standard go-to weapon when I need kills. I pair it with Viking (or Titan on smaller maps). A bit of overlap with Thunder, but much better than thunder up close for obvious reasons. For short-range depends on if you want more scoring power, or more killing power. Isida is one of best turrets for score, mostly due to healing team-mates. but twins and fire or hammer tend to be better at killing. My suggstions based on what you have and your experience? So stick with dictator as medium M2 hull and also upgrade your hornet to m2 if you feel you need speed for larger maps. Decide if you like firebird - if yes - upgrade to m2 and buy alteration (a must if you use fire). If you are unsure of firebird - maybe Isida. If you are happy with current equipment just upgrade it to M2. Keep upgrading one combo (hornet + fire?) and save for M3. Kits are so random but you can try to target one. I recommend medium hull (viking or Hornet) + Ricco.
-
If you are committing to Rail, then upgrade the Hornet - don't worry about the Viking M2. Thunder/Dictator is fine on medium and even large maps. Then target an m3 kit (maybe with Viking or Hunter) and start saving for that. I In meantime put MUs into your current equipment, to keep them useful until M3 kits unlock. Rail/Hornet for instance - you can keep MU-ing and get the M3s free at unlock. Sorry - can't rate the Rail purchase on 1-10 as I never use it. If you like Rail though, seems like a good plan.
-
Depends on the turret. some have very high unlock ranks. Lucifer has Thunder MU-ed to almost m2.
