    I have two modules with Magnum protection. helps, but when you're getting rained on and can't hit back it becomes frustrating. They still weaken you enough that when their team-mates arrive to steal flag you can't fight back. The choices in modules are quite limited. Moving the camera angle allows magnum users to "see" a lot they really should not be able to "see". Now for most turrets this is not an issue as they still have to move out from behind the house to take the shot.

    You might want to re-read the posts again - I never said anything about how your garage "looks" I said you bought crystals to improve it. And you have. That makes your perspective on it quite skewed compared to the majority of players. I do fine with my garage - I have success while using 30% less supplies than you have, even though I've played 3 more ranks. Magnum is a terrible design and does not fit the game. I could buy it but I won't because it's junk. And it's your second-most used turret... so whatever... If you've been here that long you know every single turret has been through balances. So for you to say it is not OP is just ridiculous.

    It your perspective that is out of line with 85% of the players. Has nothing to do with being ignorant - I can see what you have in your garage. And I don't see you denying that you have bought crystals with $$ - making your garage much better at your rank than your peers. I get it - you use magnum and don't want one of your favorite turrets nerfed. But you need to face it - Devs messed up and need to modify it. I guess you are too new to understand ALL turrets have gone through re-calibration at one point.

    A player who spends real dollars to buy m3 equipment and upgrade - who thinks magnum is just fine. Sure - you're just like everybody else. :P :D :lol:

    Maybe it's fine for you - but - as a buyer - you have a few advantages over the majority. And it's funny how it's mostly users who keep claiming it's not OP. ;) The silly turret is OP and needs some nerfing. The only question is when the nerf will take place.

    Sure. But those other turrets can damage more than 1 tank simultaneously, and they recharge faster. In crowded map DM - isida not as good.

    This is the way I see it as well. Each player on team plays a part. The "all stars" are not going to win the game by themselves. How can they cap the flag if, when they get to their own base, the other flag is already on it's way to enemy base? But with the larger maps being used, the heavier hulls will suffer if the scoring is changed drastically. In Tanki-X Hornets dominate - big time. My guess is that 50% (or more) of the hulls being used are light. I really don't want to see TO evolve to Tanki-X.
  9. 0 x (multiplier) is still 0 though right? I exaggerate - but - my point is - the "weaker" tanks could very well struggle to score enough to get any crystals. At least when you can pick your battles now you can make sure other players are within a "comfort-zone" of power. When MM comes in you just might see tons of players leaving many battles early because they were placed in a battle they can't compete in. And it's not just the reward at end (if there is any) - if they get stomped during the battle they will exit - no one wants to be the punching bag.
  10. And this is what many of us are concerned about. The Devs stubborn insistence on 10 vs 10 means fewer battles. So then M2 are pigeon-holed into battles with M4 - this is just wrong. It does not matter if Teams are balanced if weaker players are forced into battles against stronger. The M2s cannot earn scores or crystals when 1) being easily killed by enemy M4s and 2) competing against M4s on their own team for score. Balanced teams may be fine for upper ranks - but that will be small comfort for the weaker team members who can't get anything done. You might want to elaborate - Riddler might think Non-pro battles can be made through MM...
  11. Oh stop - it is NOT a magnum nerf - all turrets are affected by this. Magnum will still be doing tons of damage while hiding safely in it's lair. You are trying too hard and genuinely seem scared that a nerf is on it's way - as it should be.

    Did V-log indicate battles were getting shorter? Like down to 10 min? If so, that's terrible. 10 min is not enough time to get anything done - especially since only the larger maps are in circulation. And if you end up in battle partially finished you have no time for score, collecting, capping or anything else. Looks like Devs only want light hulls being used. If Match-making drops me into partially completed battles with only 7 min left, and that team is already losing - adios muchachos - I'm not sticking around in a losing cause where I will get no rewards. Seems like TO is moving more and more toward the Tanki-X model - and that is NOT a good thing. Tanki-X does not have enough players - for a reason. It is not as good.

    V-log made it sound like teams will be "balanced" (not holding my breath) but will have a mixture of weak and strong. If they mean ranks - then the "weak" players have no hope of earning score when 1) they are being killed often by enemy and 2) compete with stronger members of their own team for score/crystals. What will the rank spread be when teams assigned in MatchMaking? And battle groups... will create even more imbalance. If it's MM - it should be completely random, How balanced do you think it will be when a "battle group" is dropped into a battle against a randomly mixed team?

    And once they learn how to use it ... ? The "it takes a long time to learn it" is no justification for making the weapon too powerful. The learning curve eventually disappears and has no impact on performance. Of course it should be nerfed. The game was never designed to incorporate an indirect fire weapon that hits a large area while hiding behind walls and mine-fields.

    Even with DD activated Smoky would have to be very lucky to one-shot a hornet. It's regular damage is not high enough, so you must be referring to a very lucky critical hit. That happens only 8.5% of the time for m1. And would never happen to 2 targets in a row. Thunder on the other hand can easily one-shot a hornet with DD equipped. And can do so to the next hornet that falls under it's sights. and the one after that... And if all your enemies are using DD - why not counter with DA?

    All magnums use magnum module because they know 100% it will be useful. And 3rdOnion's point was magnum has no "build up" for damage done. Unlike shaft. You still must be playing noobs if your strategy of "moving away when you hear the sound" works regularly. Magnums target areas - like the flag zone. And often there's more than one sending in the shells. So where are you going to move? Outside of your base away from the flag? That sounds like a perfect defense right? "Door's open - come on in".

    I agree all of the above happens. And it's a shame because use (or lack of use) absolutely ruins many battles. It makes the battles so much worse in terms of balance than they would be without existence of OD. OD makes battles that were slightly in favor of one team swing so far that the battle becomes irreversible. One way to mitigate this is to have the OD build up in exact same way for all players - by time alone. It won't completely change the outcome, but it will help balance somewhat.

    The thing is... if you make tanks on your team "more powerful" more often, they in turn will build up OverDrive faster. Then they can return the favor. And so on. This would include the mid-fielders that can weaken attackers making their way to your base. On your way to attack later on they can activate the OD for the attackers as a group. Teams that "hold on to it" for any significant time tend to lose the battles. Teams that use it regularly decimate teams that don't. This has been the pattern since Overdrive was introduced.

    Just looked at available CTF battles. 9 "normal" battles - 3 of them Brest. Come on - fix this. No way 1/3 battles should be same map.

    What rank is your alt? Predator kit is super OP near it's unlock rank. Note that the kit actually costs more than Thunder+Hunter bought separately. But you do get a module. How do you have 78k crystals near Serg Maj rank if you've already spent to MU wasp and smoky? FYI... if you've already MU-ed smoky not sure why you need Thunder m1 - they are used in similar fashion. Whatever you buy, get a medium hull, or upgrade the Hunter you started with.

    By "XP" you mean Rail? If you don't have hornet already just buying Rail won't give you XP. If you mean you can get Tornado kit because you might rank up - well - it's been available since WO5. And sales don't give you further discounts on Kits - so you should buy it when available in garage. Tornado comes with module Lion T-B = fire/twins/ricco ? So unless you have Thunder protection already you would need something like Griffon T-A. However - the more you spend now the less you will have for buying M3s (or Mu-ing the M2s).
