With the MFS smoky's advantage disappears - the plasma travels too fast to avoid. Oh wait - I forgot you can dodge rail-shots in your mammoth. My bad. Ricco has a ton of impact - multiple shots hitting in fast succession inflict more impact than the one smoky shot. Maybe you play Ricco players that don't know how to use the turret (see what I did there) - how do always know where the Ricco is when it is bouncing it's shots off walls and tunnels? Most of your arguments trying to defend a position involve a very specific example that does not apply to 95% of the players. Try living in the "real" world. We can only judge turrets on how 95% of the users use it - not the 5% of people we never see.

You see a lot of vikings in upper rank because we liked the characteristics before the re-balance and bought it. The Devs swapped Viking/Hunter stats and we were stuck with what we bought - cant afford to buy another medium hull. Viking is not better than Hunter - just different. Viking has speed, Hunter has Stability. depends on what weapon you use mostly. Smoky better with stability (you need to keep peppering enemy with hits to get critical) so Hunter as of now is prob better for smky. Only thing Devs should do is reverse that silly switch they implemented. All it did was make players mad, not spend more crystals. Yes - smoky's weak damage of 10% is pathetic. Turret is not good beyond close-side-of-medium-range. I do think the reload could be tweaked a little - they nerfed it a couple times within a 6-month span.

So opened the weekly reward for Legend... 3500 crys 10 gold box Liquid Metal ... so far both accounts ahead. Not sure I understand the matchMaking and gold boxes connection...

I suspect my W03 will come out ahead and my Legend will fall off a bit in crystal ratio - but we'll have to see. "mm"?

As one who is saving crystals for MUs I'm thinking I'd prefer the guaranteed crystals vs the random items. I just know most of time I'm going to get supplies - which I don't spend crystals on - so those will have little value for me. Having said that - my W03 account did get 10 gold boxes. But I'll need to spend >2000crys to get Pro_Pass so I can collect them...

I have them both, with the same upgrades. Ricco with ALT outperforms Smoky. It's not really close. The Devs have nerfed smoky too much over last yr or so and it mostly sits in my garage.

What??? :o That's just obscene :blink: Even my alt created a couple months ago could only afford the Blizzard kit at 1st sergeant. Last time I looked, Predator cost ~ 80,000 crystals. It is one of the few kits that cost > than the regular price of turret + hull... because of the paint.

Why you say that? At m1 it is better than Viking in just about every way. At m2 that's reversed. At M3+ depends on if you prefer speed vs stability/pushing power...

Ricco seems balanced to me. ;) Undecided about Vulcan - have seen more of them recently (usually heavy hulls) and they have been devastating. And still Striker is only playable on maps like massacre where not as many places to hide from lock-on... Give it an alt so the salvo can actually be used in a battle.

How is this transfer done? And how many golds would realistically be obtained this way? Supplies and crystals will certainly be the bulk of the rewards. Well that's buyers choice to ignore a free benefit. Again, all a casual player has to do to get the benefits is claim one mission per day. Don't even need to play every day - complete 3 missions one day and claim them over 3 days.

RE: gold drops - you can't be talking about missions - needs to be "normal". So it's the uncommon transfer of 1000 cry from one tank to another of similar rank? Meh. And I'm pretty sure buyers also get containers for their weekly missions. The "common people" are not getting anything buyers aren't getting. I'm a casual player, and don't see how this hurts me in any way... what you just described a buyer will do is exactly what I do on my high account and lower account.

When compared to other turrets that have "secondary modes" Striker suffers badly. Isida has two modes and never has issues using both. Shaft primary is considered the scope - but it has no problems using Arcade to finish off those not one-shotted by scope. But Strikers relatively long lock-on time (with a laser announcing its presence) makes its "secondary" mode used sparingly at best. Only map that I've found striker even remotely useful on is massacre because there's not many places to hide once you leave the base.

I would sacrifice some salvo damage in order to get lock-on time reduced since at the moment, salvo happens so rarely the damage is practically = ZERO.

I play mostly casually, and the "normal" daily missions provide incentive for me to play some each day as they are not to hard to complete. These "holiday" missions are more of a grind - if it takes 3 battles or more to complete then not really interested. If there was 1 "mini-super-mission" per day I wouldn't mind so much. But three? as above - no thanks.

Hunter M0 - upgraded to M1 well before unlock rank of W04 is certainly OP. My question is - how the heck does anyone (except a buyer) afford the Predator Kit at even close to unlock rank?

Firebird is not bad - kills most tanks even if it dies. Isida does not heal itself any more. If you mean RK - well any tank can do that. Most ranged weapons will beat short-range weapons if they can get enough shots off. That's the way it should work. Freeze can beat isida - you need to freeze and circle - once behind Isida is dead.

Collect 15 Speed Boosts? Finish top-3 winner team 3x? I claimed all my completed missions just before server re-set so I would get all normal missions. I thought "holiday missions" were over.

So this kind of supports my statement that there's very little incentive to join losing teams = unbalanced battles. Bad for tanki. Since the missions can only be completed in normal battles, good luck with that.

Mid-long range? With the MFS alteration my money is on Ricco. I have Smoky M3-14/20 and Ricco M3-14/20. Between those two I use Ricco 75% & Smoky 25%. At the high ranks smoky has limited applications. They have nerfed it too much. It's only advantage is that there seem to be fewer people equipping modules with smoky.

You seem confused - no rifles in Tanki. Or do you bring a knife to a gun-fight? I get it, you don't really value your time. However, I do, and don't waste it on unbalanced battles.

I skipped to the end because... MY EYES!!! I like how 3 tweaks to make a Rail buff will fix all the issues in tanki.
